PANG goes to the temple to find QING. There he and KU finds QING praying for PANG. PANG is deeply touched. KU is discontented. When HANG knows that PANG is willing to take up his sword when QING's life is endangered, he gives PANG "Moon Sabre Scroll", hoping that he can learn it. Every night, QING uses music to calm PANG's temper. PANG realizes that QING is willing to sacrifice for him. PANG and QING get married and all the others are excited. When QING knows that PANG still has the jade medal given by CHING, she is jealous. PANG swears that he only loves QING and will throw it away to flatter her.

1x1 - Episode 1
September 8, 1997
With the sword-stance "Comet From The Heaven", TING PANG manages to defeat many famous combatants. He has just defeated Master FONG of Dim Chong School. However he does not know that someone is keeping an eye on him. PANG's next target is LAU YURK CHUNG, whose sobriquet is "Gentleman Sword". PANG saves a girl CHIN HO CHING from a brothel. CHING admires him. The duel has to be delayed for a month as CHUNG's father has just died. PANG also loves CHING but he will not plan anything until he has won the fight. PANG is lurked and he worries about CHING. He rushes to see her. Knowing that she is waiting for him, PANG is deeply touched. They exchange presents to mark their love.
1x2 - Episode 2
September 9, 1997
PANG gives his scroll of sword-stance to CHING and tells her his past. Before he goes, he asks CHING to wait for him. PANG is defeated completely and he is accused by CHUNG who claims that "Comet From The Heaven" belongs to his family. PANG is angry. In order to convince him, CHUNG leads PANG and other combatants to the secret cell. He tells them that a thief stole the scroll one month ago. CHUNG's wife accuses PANG as the thief. PANG is shocked as he finds that CHUNG's wife is CHING. PANG is put in jeopardy. To escape from being trounced, PANG has to jump down Black Wood Cliff. There is little hope for him to survive. Everyone on Worryless Island celebrates the good harvest.
1x3 - Episode 3
September 10, 1997
PANG is discovered by the inhabitants of Worryless Island. KU and his subordinates use fire to catch him. From a child, QING knows that PANG is a good man, thus she rushes to save him. PANG is convinced by QING but he is tied up by the others. PANG suspects that QING has betrayed him. QING has no way to explain. HANG does not kill PANG but PANG is imprisoned. QING visits PANG every night and gives him lucky paper cranes as gifts. At the night of Sabre Festival, QING releases PANG. She has prepared a raft for him. Knowing that QING will be punished by her father, PANG does not leave. KU is ordered to kill PANG. PANG is hurt by KU and is left beside the gravestone of Worryless Island.
1x4 - Episode 4
September 11, 1997
In chaos, PANG grasps a moon-shaped sabre from the bottom of the gravestone. HANG changes his attitude and regards him as a member of them. HANG knows PANG's past and suggests him to leave. However PANG refuses as he misses QING. KU gives him a good trouncing as he believes that PANG will bring bad luck to the island. PANG does not fight back. CHUNG worries as he has to confront Master MU CHI. CHING criticize by asking him to use her to exchange Master MU CHI's martial arts. CHUNG knows that she still loves PANG. PANG tells QING his unpleasant experience with CHING. QING tells him that on the island Hope Goddess can help him. Later KU tells PANG that QING has disappeared.

PANG goes to the temple to find QING. There he and KU finds QING praying for PANG. PANG is deeply touched. KU is discontented. PANG records tidal changes every night and QING knows that he wants to leave. She prepares a raft and food for him. PANG is in a dilemma and he leaves his fate to be determined by a coin. At last he has to leave. He asks QING to accompany him but they are stopped by HANG. At last HANG lets them go. CHING gives red packets to the others for CHUNG's birthday. CHUNG is shocked to learn that masters of the six schools have been defeated and taken away by a young man carrying "Moon Sabre". The mysterious young man draws a line circling CHUNG's villa. All are ordered to stay behind it. Some of CHUNG's sidekicks ignore the order and they are killed.

September 16, 1997
CHUNG knows that his life is endangered as there are threatening words on the walls of his villa. Moreover his forehead is cut when he is fast asleep. CHING wants to use her charm to seduce the owner of Full Moon Villa to assist CHUNG. PANG makes her wait for a long time. When they meet, CHING is convinced that PANG still loves her and they should trick CHUNG together. QING visits CHUNG and tells him that she is his only helper. CHUNG refuses to take her words but when he is defeated by QING easily, he is shocked and trusted her completely. CHING worries about CHUNG but he does not know that he is approaching a trap.
1x8 - Episode 8
September 17, 1997
CHUNG invites members of other schools to annihilate Round Moon Villa. However his suggestion is turned down and CHUNG realizes that he has been isolated. CHING's sidekick is killed by CHUNG on his way to bring information to PANG. She is driven away by CHUNG. PANG adopts CHING and asks her to study all scrolls. CHUNG agrees to work for QING. QING asks CHUNG to finish three tasks so that she can teach him three mighty stances. CHUNG kills his master and comrade. However he dares not to kill QING though QING orders him to do so as the third task. QING has mercy on CHUNG as he is fooled.
1x9 - Episode 9
September 18, 1997
PANG promises to marry CHING after he has won CHUNG. In the duel, PANG pretends to be defeated at the beginning. At last CHUNG knows that he has been tricked by QING and loses the fight. PANG accuses CHUNG having stolen scrolls from other schools. CHING acts as the witness. CHUNG has to run away or he will be killed by the angry mobs. At last he is forced to jump down the cliff. Feeling ashamed, CHING jumps down the cliff after leaving some words on the tree bark. Before leaving, PANG holds a banquet where he is challenged by a young man KING MU MING. Though he defeats MING, he knows that there is another mighty combatant TSE HIU FUNG, who is respected as "God Of Sword". PANG decides to stay
1x10 - Episode 10
September 19, 1997
QING does not leave and she worries about PANG. From PAK HIU SANG, PANG learns that FUNG was Supreme Of All Schools but he resigned suddenly. SANG cannot give him further information but he appreciates PANG's talent. PANG spoils all MING's duels with other combatants so as to retard his progress. MING swears to defeat PANG. Following PANG's instruction, QING demonstrates stances of "Full Moon Sabre" in front of MING. Though MING learns them, he is defeated by PANG. Before he faints, MING tells a poem to PANG. From it, PANG knows where FUNG is.

FUNG's daughter YUK regards PANG as MING. PANG locks up MING and forces MING to tell him about YUK. Being driven away by FUNG, YUK indulged in alcohol. MING admired her and peeped at her every day. When he knew that she started learning calligraphy, he sent her poems every day to encourage her. Later he even challenged FUNG but he was defeated by an instance. PANG learns what has happened and he decides to imprison MING for one year so that he can impersonate MING to challenge FUNG.

MING tells QING his unpleasant experience. She has mercy on him and trusts him. On the other hand, she thinks that PANG is too harsh to MING. On the way to FUNG, PANG and YUK are lurked by a masked man. PANG is surprised as the man knows his identity. He kills the masked man. QING meets CHUNG and decides to let him stay as she has mercy on him. PANG and YUK arrive at Sacred Sword Villa. There FUNG's servant SING tells them that FUNG died three years ago. PANG cannot accept the fact and breaks into the house to find him.

September 24, 1997
PANG is led by SING to a deserted lane. PANG fights with sword energy and is defeated at the seventh stance. Later he is given some clues by a masked man and YUK recognizes that the massage is written by her father. CHUNG wants to use MING to kill PANG. He manages to approach MING and starts sowing seeds of hatred in MING's heart. QING finds that she cannot reduce MING's hatred of PANG. YUK reminds PANG to take more rest as he cannot help using all his time to figure out the way to defeat FUNG. PANG slams her and discloses the fact that he is not MING. However YUK does not mind. The masked man comes and states that he can help PANG but PANG has to finish a task for him.

September 25, 1997
PANG finds that a child can go through the lane without any obstacle. He realizes that he should forget all his martial arts to go through it. FUNG and PANG have a duel in Purple Bamboo Forest. FUNG tells PANG that he can defeat FUNG. He asks PANG to drop the evil sabre and looks after YUK. PANG is surprised when FUNG tells him the information about Evil Sect. He asks PANG to prove it at Black Wood Cliff. On the other hand, CHUNG releases MING. MING kills the others. QING tries to stop him but in return, her eyes are hurt. At Black Wood Cliff, PANG finds the history of Evil Sect. He is astonished to find CHING.

September 26, 1997
CHING has learnt "Evil Sword" and determines to entangle PANG. PANG regards her act as a trick of HANG and QING who want to lead him away from chivalry. In order to acquire fame among descent schools, PANG decides to marry YUK. MING escorts QING to visit doctors but no one can cure her. CHUNG gives the invitation card of PANG's marriage to QING. MING is discontented for QING. MING brings QING to Sacred Sword Villa on the day of marriage. PANG is shocked by QING's presence.
1x16 - Episode 16
September 29, 1997
PANG ignores QING in front of his guests. QING is in deep grief and leaves with MING. QING comes again and gives YUK a present. She requests to touch PANG's face again. PANG is deeply impressed. Later PANG meets QING on the way and finds that QING has lost her eye-sights. Thus he visits her secretly every day. Being fooled by CHUNG, MING goes to carry out a massacre in Sacred Sword Villa. CHUNG tells YUK that PANG is not MING. However it does not work. YUK loves PANG so deep that she hurts and drives MING away. PANG worries as he knows that Evil Sect will come soon. FUNG comes and tells PANG that he is the one who terminated Evil Sect thirty years ago.
1x17 - Episode 17
September 30, 1997
FUNG tells PANG those thirty years ago, he had a compromise with HANG. However he changed his mind and led other schools to lurk HANG as he was attracted by HANG's wife MAY. Though he defeated HANG, MAY was killed. After the incident, he no longer turns up as he is afraid of HANG's return. PANG warns CHIN not to see QING again. CHIN claims that she will kill QING. PANG wants to punish her but in turn he is defeated. He is depressed and goes to find "Full Moon Sabre". In fact all these are planned by HANG. CHIN comes and in the duel she kills herself by PANG's sabre. PANG feels guilty. When he meets HANG, he tells HANG that he does not want to be HANG's puppet.
1x18 - Episode 18
October 1, 1997
HANG convinces PANG to join his sect. PANG annihilates descent schools for HANG. QING begs HANG to let go of PANG. HANG turns a deaf ear to her and trounces her. CHUNG tells QING that only her death can bring true peace and happiness to PANG. QING agrees and before she dies she reminds MING to not to be fooled by hatred. She even teaches YUK music. One day PANG cannot find QING. He becomes crazy and tortures members of Evil Sect to find her. HANG suggests that if PANG can kill FUNG, he will tell PANG where QING is. For QING, PANG challenges FUNG with a duel. FUNG is killed and PANG feels guilty.
1x19 - Episode 19
October 2, 1997
HANG does not keep his words. He refuses to tell PANG where QING is. Instead he announces that he will attack Sacred Sword Villa three days later. PANG drives the others away before HANG's arrival. However YUK refuses to abandon him. In order to make her leave, he tells YUK that FUNG was killed by him. On the other hand, QING prays every day, begging the God to protect PANG. PANG surrenders himself to other schools to pay his debts. CHUNG comes and tells him that QING has died. PANG loses his self-controls again. He kills all those there. When he is leaving, PANG meets QING and they feel having a rebirth. No one hears their news again but MING believes that they are alive.
1x20 - Episode 20
October 3, 1997
Ten years later, PANG runs Nameless Inn to provide fugitives and tramps refuge and accommodation. MING meets PANG and QING in the inn but he does not want to disturb them. However QING is sick and MING, being a doctor, gives her treatment. HANG also arrives. Fate drives all of them to meet in the inn. What will happen to them and can PANG and QING lead a normal life? All these will be answered in the final episode "Against The Blade Of Honour".
