Tatsumi is taken by the Night Raid. They realized his potential as an assassin and asks him to join, but Tatsumi is conflicted. Though after learning more about each of Night Raid's team members, he learns of their objectives to defeat evil and corruption and eventually decides to join.

The two learn of the horrific details of the organization and their rage is apparent.
