1x1 - Episode 1

November 30, 1992

Thirty years ago, a widow gave her twins to two sworn sisters. The elder one followed his. adopted mother who had married a man in an remote island in the South East Asia. The younger one stayed in Hong Kong named MAO KIN SHU. The twins are then apart from each other and do not know the existence of the other. When SHU has grown up, he has married a business-minded wife, AU KA LAI. SHU has joined with his friend, CHAN KANG TSUEN, in managing a small shoe shop. He is not ambitious and lives leisurely. LAI is very business-minded. She is very proud of herself. She is very strict to SHU. SHU fears LAI a lot and obeys what she said. SHU hopes that LAI could give birth to a baby for him. However, LAI thinks that it would obstruct her future. Therefore, they do not have any children. SHUN YAN lives luxuriously in the remote island situated in the South East Asia.… ...

1x2 - Episode 2

December 1, 1992

SHU buys over his sister-in-law, KA BO, to destroy LAI's plan of contraception. He even cooks some nutritious food for LAI. However, LAI still does not get pregnant. YAN misses his younger brother a lot. However, he cannot leave the island as he is mourning for his mother. He listens to LEE LUNG Master's advice and sends his servant, CHARLES, to investigate his brother's trace. YAN stays in the island to wait for good news. . SHU has no other way out in order to make his wife pregnant and he resorts to a stranger to get some devices to achieve his target. It makes the family a mess. CHARLES is being sent to Hong Kong to investigate SHU's trace. He eventually discovers his trace and watch him day and night. SHU suspects CHARLES. Meanwhile, WAH is ordered by MEI to investigate her husband. SHU thinks that she has worried too muchCHARLES reports the information to YAN with video-tapes. YAN is very eager to have more information.… ...

1x3 - Episode 3

December 2, 1992

LAI has eventually got pregnant. SHU iS very happy. However, LAI does not know the truth and practises aerobic dance. She falls down carelessly and miscarries the baby. SHU's dream has then been shattered. LAI receives the news of her promotion while she is in the hospital. SHU is affected by the rumour and believes that LAI had deliberately taken abortion for the sake of promotion. SHU leaves home angrily. CHARLES takes this opportunity to disclose his identity and persuades him to vi si t his brother. SHU then boards the plane and goes to the South East Asia to meet his brother. YAN and SHU meet each other. They are so amazed that their appearances are the same. However, the life style, hobbies and character are very different. It adds a lot of fun for them. They admire each other's life style after some chat. They even want to exchange their identities for two weeks. YAN then will go to Hong Kong and SHU will stay in the island.

1x4 - Episode 4

December 3, 1992

LAI worries a lot for SHU who has disappeared for several days. She regrets that she was too strict to him in the past. However, she treats him the same when he has returned home. YAN is not used to be treated by woman like that, he leaves home angrily. YAN bursts into a nightclub. He is very curious and makes a lot of fun. MEI works in the nightclub as a part-time club girl. She meets YAN and immediately reports to LAI. LAI is very angry. LAI and BO see that SHU (YAN) has changed a lot after his disappearance. They think that he is so irritated that he has suffered from nervous breakdown. Thus, they tolerate him and hope that he could recover. SHU enjoys his luxurious life in the island. However, he gradually finds boring. He then teaches the servant to play mahjong. They are very curious for that. LAI has invited her colleagues to her house for dinner. She demands YAN to be obedient beforehand. YAN is reluctant to do so.… ...

1x5 - Episode 5

December 4, 1992

CHARLES forces SHU to practise Kung-fu according to the schedule. Though SHU is reluctant to practise Kung-fu, he still has to follow the strict regulation in order not to disclose his real identity. Later, SHU thinks of a trick to fool the public. The public then dare not to compete with him. MEI finds that TSUEN has changed a lot, she suspects that TSUEN is deluded by other woman. MEI is so angry that she locks TSUEN and SHU up in the mezzanine in the shoe shop. YAN feels annoyed to be locked up and tries to climb down. He has fallen down carelessly and gets hurt. He is then being sent to the hospital. LAl hurries to the hospital but YAN is cool to her. LAl is very angry. LAl has to tolerate his superior's unreasonable and demanding request in the company, she also has to tolerate YAN at home. She is very downcast. When BO witnesses the situation, she sympathizes LAl. BO waits upon a chance to teach YAN a lesson.… ...

1x6 - Episode 6

December 7, 1992

When YAN has heard the news in Hong Kong, he is shocked. He has also known that someone wants to kill him. SHU is the scapegoat. YAN is very sad but he cannot tell anyone his grievance. The international cop, Peter Lau, is assigned' to investigate SHU is case and is being sent to Hong Kong. He goes to find YAN and knows that YAN and SHU have exchanged their identities. He advises YAN to stay in Hong Kong and disguises as SHU in order to be saved. The cop will then investigate the case. According to VAN's will, his younger brother will succeed a large part of his property with the condition that he has to take care SEE and his family. LAI is very excited when she heard the news. She spends her own money lavishly. She even quits her present job and aims at living extravagantly. However, the solicitor announces that they cannot inherit the legacy for the moment. LAI is very disappointed.… ...

1x7 - Episode 7

December 8, 1992

LAI cannot tolerate SEE who is too obedient, she then takes a chance to guide her. However, she is feudalized with the Island custom and cannot make any change. LAI has no other way out. BO has eaten LOK's noodle. LOK is very angry and threatens that he has exercised a curse in the noodle. BO hates LOK deeply. He also dislikes SEE because of! LOK SEE secretly worships his ex-husband in her room as she does not know whether LAI will accept her setting an ancestral tablet at home. BO by chance discovers the tablet and misunderstand that she tries to exercise curses on them. It then leads to a great quarrel. After the case is clear, YAN feels very touched. Moreover, YAN still loves SEE a lot. However, he could not disclose his real identity and has to suppress his passion. He still could not help to show his concern and care to SEE.… ...

1x8 - Episode 8

December 9, 1992

AR becomes very lonely and desolate after TSUEN and MEI have gone. Fortunately, BO let him stay with them. In fact, WAR has secretly fallen in love with BO for a long time, however, he is too shy to disclose his secret. BO treats WAR as her own son. TSUEN and MEI make the shoe-shop fall into debt. YAN has to take up the responsibility and makes him bankrupt. WAH tells the creditors that YAN is innocent. WAR is so irritated that he has fainted. The creditors then agree to give him one month lead-time. SEE understands that YAN is in great trouble. She voluntarily gives YAN her money for the emergency. YAN is affected with gratitude. With SEE's encouragement, LOK is willing to find a job. However, he is used to be lazy and has no special skills. Thus, he could only work in the junior position. Re feels very disappointed.

1x9 - Episode 9

December 10, 1992

LOK witnesses that BO takes good care of WAR. Re thinks that their relation is quite subtle. Re is very nosy and always teases them. BO by chance discovers that YAN and SEE are very intimate to each other. BO and WAR then secretly arrange to record their intimate relation in a video-tape and denounce their evil deed. YAN has known the case and asks BO to give him the evidence. They carelessly throw the video-tape i out to the street in confusion. LAI is hit by the tape. She is so angry that she destroys the tape. BO's effort is in vain. BO is reluctant to see her effort is in vain. Thus, she decides to wait upon another chance. YAN tempts BO with some benefit, however, BO is so determined that she could not be bribed. YAN worries a lot. LAI eventually finds that YAN and SEE do have an affair. She suffers a great blow. With BO's persuasion, she changes to be very obedient in the hope that she could restore the marriage.… ...

1x10 - Episode 10

December 11, 1992

LAI sees that her change could not win back YAN. She and BO thus devise to match SEE with the new shoe-shop owner LEE TANG TIN. YAN knows that TIN is keen on courting SEE. YAN feels very distasteful. Unexpectedly, TIN expresses that he aims on WAH instead. WAH refuses TIN. TIN increases the rent tremendously in revenge. In order to restore the general situation, WAH sacrifices himself and flatters TIN and requests TIN not to increase the rent. However, TIN has already got acquainted with another guy. WAH is very disappointed. Peter Lau is born lazy and muddled. He has no clue. When YAN questions him about the murdering case, he lies in order to save his face. LAI is jealous and threatens YAN to divorce. YAN manages between the real and false wife and at the same time he is not allowed to disclose his real identity, he is really bit in agony.

1x12 - Episode 12

December 15, 1992

YAN has no other alternative and works in the hotel kitchen. He is maltreated by his supervisor. YAN has to tolerate for the sake of livelihood. SEE's performance in the hotel is good and is being promoted to be a waitress. She is gentle, pretty and is very attractive and so has a lot of admirers. YAN is very jealous and tries to stop SEE's admirers. He makes a lot of fun. LOK cannot tolerate his boss and resigns angrily. The family members do not sympathize him. LOK is very angry. LAI works as a secretary. Her new boss is dirty-minded and narrow-minded. The other staff speak ill of her. She loses importance and feels very disappointed. BO & LOK find a job in the same detective house respectively. YAN finds out that YUK is not that bad and they eventually become good friends. Manager Mr. So requests LAI to buy something for his mistress. LAI meets his wife and tells her the case. She even brings her to the villa.… ...

1x13 - Episode 13

December 16, 1992

LAI is very angry and scolds BO. SEE explains and mediates between the two. They reconcile. YAN by chance expresses his knowledge in curry to YUK. The hotel Manager passes by and hears what he has discussed. The Manager requests him to conduct a lecture regarding the knowledge in food for the guest. There is a guest, WAN CHEONG, who is in charge of top banquet" services. He questions YAN a lot but YAN could answer him shrewdly. CHEONG is responsible in training the hotel staff. He has fallen in love with SEE for the first sight. SEE recommends LAI to be CHEONG's secretary. LAI meets SO again and he speaks ill of her. LAI thinks that she has lost the chance for promotion and expresses her feeling. Unexpectedly, CHEONG appreciates her character and trusts her a lot.

1x14 - Episode 14

December 17, 1992

BO and LOK are being attacked in an action. LOK risks to save BO. They eventually reconcile. WAH is angry with LOK who has competed with him for BO. WAH even warns LOK with an anonymous letter and challenges him. When LOK has known the case, he accepts the challenge. LAI tries her best to match SEE with CHEONG so as to make YAN give up SEE. When YAN has known that SEE and CHEONG are dating, he is very sad and becomes sick. LAI takes the chance to restore the couple relation and takes care YAN but YAN is not affected at all. LAI is very disappointed.

1x15 - Episode 15

December 18, 1992

YAN cannot control himself and always expresses his love to SEE. SEE suggests to move out the MAO's family. LAI supports. SEE finds a new home with CHEONG's help. YAN begs SEE to stay. SEE rebukes him. YAN is difficult to get at the truth. HEUNG FA comes to Hong Kong to meet her daughter. When she has met YAN, she is very surprised. YAN nearly recognizes her beyond his control. YAN cannot concentrate on his job and involves CHEONG to swallow some poison in food. CHEONG forgives YAN. SEE admires CHEONG more than before. TSUEN and his wife cannot adapt themselves to the life in Canada, thus, they return to Hong Kong to search for a good doctor. BO finds out that WAH has still kept in touch with them. She is very dissatisfied with WAH. Master LAI LUNG comes to Hong Kong to practise as a doctor. Peter Lau misunderstands that he is the murderer. Eventually the case is made clear.

1x16 - Episode 16

December 21, 1992

YAN finds that SEE and CHEONG’s relation has been improved tremendously, He is very jealous. He even hits CHEONG but has hurt SEE in confusion. SEE is then being sent to the hospital. YAN tries his best to take care of SEE. However, he still cannot win SEE’s favour. It even strengthens SEE and CHEONG’s relation. TSUEN and his wife are searching for a magic doctor to cure their strange diseases. YAN then disguises to be a magic doctor and swindles the money back. WAH tries his best to take care TSUEN and his wife because of his flesh and blood relation with his sister. However, YAN confronts against them It puts WAH in a dilemma. WAH is very embarrassed. MEI finds that WAH is a burden and claims that he is actually not her flesh and blood brother. She decides not to take care of him. WAH is very angry and wants to live on his own.… ...

1x17 - Episode 17

December 22, 1992

The relation between CHEONG and SEE is very stable, CHEONG thinks that it is the right time for him to ask SEE marry him. YAN tries to stop them but is in vain. YAN then tells SEE his real identity. SEE awakes and promises YAN to keep the secret. YAN urges PETER LAU to find out the murderer as soon as he can. YAN could then get back his property and settle down in the island with SEE. SEE manages between YAN and CHEONG. She finds herself in a dilemma. Moreover, she finds that YAN is very lazy and does nothing. She persuades YAN to reform himself. YAN then makes up his mind to live on his own foot. BO finds that YAN dates SEE openly. She is very angry with him. LAI and BO then try to destroy YAN and SEE's relation.

1x18 - Episode 18

December 23, 1992

YAN is keen on developing his career. With Uncle YUK’s encouragement and advice, he participates in catering business. LAI finds that YAN has become very positive. She decides to help him in developing his business. She hopes that it could help to restore their old relation. WAH dares not to express his love to BO directly. He secretly writes a love letter and sends it to her indirectly. Unexpectedly, LAI reads the letter and thinks that it is sent buy YAN. She misunderstands that YAN intents to restore their old relation. CHEONG has left Hong Kong for a business trip. LAI takes this opportunity to transfer his business to YAN. When CHEONG knows the case, he rebukes. In order to irritate YAN, LAI goes to seek for another marriage. She meets a gentleman who is very mean and creates a lot of fun. LAI by chance discovers that SEE has set up a tablet for SHU. She begins to suspect YAN's identity. She sends WAR to investigate.… ...

1x19 - Episode 19

December 24, 1992

LAI is so irritated that she is immediately fainted. She is then being sent to the hospital. She even suffers from nervous breakdown. BO worries a lot. YAN feels very sorry and tries his best to take care her. However, LAI is so hurt that she cannot recover quickly. When YAN and PETER LAU are pressing for finding out the real murderer, they discover that LOK is keen on reading some books related to explosive compound. They suspect LOK to be the murderer. After thorough investigation, they eventually find out that LAM HEUNG FA (SEE's mother) is the murderer. YAN's grandfather has swindled money and wealth out of FA's father. FA's father then died in misery and grief. FA then takes revenge. She arranges SEE to marry YAN and hopes that she could get back YAN' s property. Later, she waits upon a chance to kill YAN but is in vain. She has killed SHU instead. She is very disappointed and she again waits upon another chance to kill YAN.

1x20 - Episode 20

December 25, 1992

FA tells SEE the enmity between the MAO's family and their family. She forces SEE to give up YAN. She even asks SEE to stand by her and confront against YAN. SEE is being put into a dilemma. FA has put some poison into the soup. SEE tries to stop YAN swallow the soup. PETER LAU misunderstands that SEE is the murderer. SEE is difficult to get at the truth. BO finds that LAI’s condition is getting worse. She then tries to find out the murderer for the sake of her sister. FA continues to plot against YAN but is useless. SHU appears in emergency. All of them are great surprised. In fact, SHU has escaped from death in the plane-crash. He is left in a remote island. He can eventually back to Hong Kong. SHU meets LAI and finds a that she can suppress her temper. YAN and SHU then tell the public their real identity........
