In NSW, goats were introduced by early gold prospectors, and have now multiplied to become a pest. It is late winter and its prime time to be hunting goats, which can provide a tasty feed, and a very elusive trophy in a big billy.
4x2 - Sambar Stag Wilderness Backpack Hunt Part 1
Rob's on his home turf, backpacking into the remote Victorian Alpine National Park. Backpack hunting is hard work, but the rewards are worth it. In this region live huge antlered stags that have grown old here due to ideal habitat and near zero hunting pressure.
4x3 - Sambar Stag Wilderness Backpack Hunt Part 2
After the success of the first three days, Rob & Andrew continue to push on deeper into the wilderness in search of a true monster Sambar. The terrain gets steeper, the weather changes it up, but the big stags keep on coming.

At a grass roots level, hunting Rabbits & Foxes is something we all love and it’s great fun for the youngest kids, and the oldest kids! Join us for some hot barreled sessions helping out the farmer and taking a feed for the table.

With Fallow now widespread, hunting opportunities are numerous, however going back a few years, if you wanted a top quality trophy Fallow buck, Tassie was where it’s at, and still to this day, some of this country’s greatest bucks have come from the Apple Isle.
4x6 - Wild Dogs of the Victorian High Country
Wild dogs are a serious issue for our farmers. The damage through stock losses and lost productivity is huge and they are elusive and cunning, Rob teams up with a wild dog behavioral expert to hunt North eastern Victoria, both by day and night, trying to call in these dangerous predators.
4x7 - NZ North Island Wilderness Red Deer Part 1
The Tararua forest park is public land, and lies at the southern end of the North Island in New Zealand, and consists of over a quarter of a million acres of steep, heavily forested, mountainous terrain. Its rugged beauty, is its main attraction to hunters, trampers, fisherman and adventurers.
4x8 - NZ North Island Wilderness Red Deer Part 2
After an exciting few days down in the lower country, the weather clears to reveal blue skies all around. With the river still high and proving dangerous to cross, the boys get on the sat phone to Jason, and make the most of a rare chance to hunt the Taraua open tops, in the peak of the roar.
4x9 - Brown Quail on Vansittart Island Tasmania
Rob and his 8-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer, Angus, travel to Bass strait to stay with Chris Rhodes of Rockjaw Tours. For 3 days they hunt the rolling tussock of the historic Vansittart Island, for a very unique and abundant population of Brown Quail
4x10 - Alpine Sambar Backpack Hunt
It's early December, and Rob is hunting the spectacular Alpine National Park for Sambar deer that are attracted to the higher elevations at this time to browse on the lush feed. Like any backpack hunt, this one is a challenge as lack of water, and the Alpine environment's brutal weather are all serious factors to consider.
