Investigators Aleks and Eli travel from San Francisco to Humboldt county, through the redwoods and into the little town of Willow Creek, self proclaimed Bigfoot capital of the world, to investigate recent Bigfoot activity on a property with Animal Planets Finding Bigfoot star James “Bobo” Fay. After this they venture to the remote Bluff Creek area, where in the 1950’s logging crews discovered strange prints that would later be dubbed “Bigfoot”. They investigate this historic area with the Bluff Creek Project, as well as spend a night at the famed Patterson-Gimlin Film Site nearby.
