Daleen tells Tertius that she has thought of them as a married couple for a long time, and Tertius feels he wants to make it a reality. Elise feels bad about giving Billy hope about Dylan. Lisa doesn't want to read Dylan's emails - he then arrives unexpectedly in Sudan. Pippa is reminded of her promise to Jennifer.

Dylan proves himself to be unmissable in the Sudan, but his presence is a hard pill for Lisa to swallow. Daniël moves deeper into Pippa's heart, and Tertius wants to get married - but Daleen believes she is too fat for such an occasion.

Pippa and Conrad's engagement party makes Pippa very nervous - especially when two guests arrive unannounced, the wedding date is unveiled, and it becomes very clear that enemy lines are drawn. Bea is frustrated with Jan's behavior - especially when the kids are dragged into his misconceptions. Warrick tells Jennifer the cold hard truth.

Bea visits Jan in jail and his behavior only confuses her further. Dirk upsets Pippa when he questions her marriage to Conrad while her friends contemplate who will be the maid of honor. It is Jennifer's first day in court and everything doesn't go according to plan. Morné and Bea are at loggerheads when she refuses to let him visit his dad.

The children visit Jan in the hospital and it causes more awkwardness between Franz and Bea. Daleen feels guilty for not helping Pippa with the wedding and decides on a plan of action. Stefanie and At are at loggerheads regarding GlobalMed. Quinton walks in on Bea and Jan in uncomfortable circumstances. Kallie blames At for Jennifer's situation and it is taking its toll on them both.
