1x1 - Episode 1

October 22, 2001

SHUNG is born honest and simple. He is an illegitimate son. The manager of the wine factory, KOO SAI LUNG sympathizes with SHUNG and her mad mother, LAU YUK FUNG and lets them to live in the cow-shed of his wine factory. They are being looked down upon by everybody and have to tolerate any kind of abuse. LUNG gets back a collection of wine that he found problematic. He returns to the wine factory and carries out a thorough investigation covering six steps from the rice-shed, fermenting, steaming, storing, checking and filling. However, he cannot figure it out. LUNG believes that the problem is due to the steaming process. The supervisor of the steaming section, KOU, does not agree. LUNG also points out that the checking section, in charge by his brother, KOO SAI HUNG, also cannot shift his responsibility. HUNG thinks that LUNG deliberately finds fault on him. SHUNG by chance finds out that reason of why the wine has gone bad……

October 23, 2001

FANG does not tight the tramp well, hence, the wine barrels break into pieces when the tramp gone ashore. SHUNG is difficult to get at the truth. FANG heard that his father, LAI, intends to sell their family jade. FANG threatens the buyer not to resell their jade. SHUNG asks FANG to compensate for the wine. Unexpectedly, LAI shifts their responsibility. SHUNG then describes the features of FANG’s as evidence. FANG is very angry. YAU begs LUNG to allow KOU to produce a new wine, “cinnamon fragrance”. LUNG agrees. FANG intends to redeem their jade by drawing the lottery. However, somebody is more in need of money than her, FANG gives up the lottery. FUNG turns over KOU’s spring water. SHUNG goes up to the mountain to get the spring water again. YIU accompanies SHUNG. FUNG is so scared that she recalls her bad encounters. FUNG hides in the wine storage room. All worry a lot for her. SHUNG devises to calm her down……

October 24, 2001

FANG devises to win in the competition. HUAN intends not to give her the cash prize. FANG threatens to destroy the wine yeast. LUNG has no alternative but to give her the cash prize. HUAN is mad. LUNG dos not know whether his son, SAN, could return home in time to get married. LUNG blames HUAN who promised the marriage without his consent. LUNG finds it difficult to explain the case to the bride’s family. FANG loses her cash prize and got no money to redeem her jade. HUAN deliberately buys her jade. KOU’s “cinnamon fragrance” is ready. All are glad. Unexpectedly, LUNG comments that the wine is not good after wine-tasting. KOU does not agree. LAI and FANG’s good friend, YEE follow HUAN’s instruction to work for her. However, HUAN is still reluctant to hand over the jade. SHUNG devises to make HUAN give up the jade. When SHUNG is going to give back the jade to FANG, he breaks it. FANG is mad.

1x4 - Episode 4

October 25, 2001

LUNG is very angry as SAN refuses to manage the wine factory. LUNG drives him away. FANG cannot concentrate on her work since SAN has returned. She is disappointed when she found out that SAN is going to marry the daughter of the CHAN’s family, SEE CHAI. SUNG forces SAN to catch fish in the river so as to recall their happy childhood. KOU thinks that LUNG is in bad mood as he always quarrels with SAN. He thus always finds fault on him to vent his anger. KOU intends to leave the wine factory. YIU tries her best to make LUNG and SAN reconcile. LUNG is glad. However, SAN is very dissatisfied with the marriage arrangement. KOU apologizes to LUNG for YIU’s sake. Indeed, KOU does not agree with LUNG. KOU sees YIU drunk. He recalls boss KOWK’s suggestion. They denounce SHUNG who has stolen the wine-making formula and beat him terribly. SAN is angry at LUNG who forces SHUNG to admit his fault relying on violence……

October 26, 2001

YIU sighs for KOU who has changed a lot. SHUNG comforts YIU. SAN goes to the CHAN’s family to disengage the marriage. CHAI is very upset. LUNG is very angry when he found that SAN has broken the marriage and even decided to join the army. LUNG intends to delete SAN’s name from the genealogical table in a towering anger. SAN takes a ferry to leave home. FANG invites SAN to her home. SAN helps FANG to repair their window and even corrects her who has written her name wrongly. FANG feels grateful for SAN’s concern. With SHUNG’s persuasion, LUNG goes to the pier to try to persuade SAN. FANG’s brother, SHUI fears that FANG will discover his smuggling deals. He makes her faint. KOU by chance discovers the smuggling goods and claims that he will report the case to the government officials. KOU and SHUI have a big fight at the ferry and leads to a fire. KOU dies. YIU is heart-broken……

1x6 - Episode 6

October 29, 2001

LUNG heard that SAN has been drowned into the sea from LAI. He orders the whole family to search for SAN but are in vain. SHUNG by chance discovers SAN’s military hat. All believe that SAN has already passed away. YIU worships at KOU tomb. She cannot forget his last will. When LUNG found that HUAN is preparing a shroud for SAN, he is very angry as he cannot convince himself that SAN was dead. SHUNG saw LUNG go to the ancestral hall. He knew LUNG well and comforts him. Since KOU has died, there are different opinions in who should be in charge of the fire. LUNG decides to take up this responsibility by himself despite that he is very sick. Unexpectedly, LUNG faints. FANG’s family is in great debt. FANG risks her life to protect her ferry. LUNG suffers from stroke. HUAN believes in the Feng-Shui master’s words and arranges a Hades wedding for SAN……

The KOO’s family maltreats FANG. FANG gives pigs funny names to vent her grievance. FANG believes that SHUNG keeps the secret of “eating the marriage cock” is for his own sakes as he did not want to involve himself into trouble. HUAN always quarrels with her sister–in-law, TANG LIN. LUNG finds them a headache. SOU is very nervous as it is his first time in charge of the fire. SHUNG stands by him and gives him advice. Nevertheless, SOU fails. YIU goes up the hill to pick “fortune fruit”. She encounters danger. Fortunately, SHUNG rescues her in time and carries her back to the village. FANG intends to visit her home three days after the wedding. HUAN gives her a hard time. The superintendent of the wine factory, YING, reports to LUNG. HUAN and HUNG criticize SOU and LAM. LUNG is vexed. FUNG eats all fortune fruits that picked by SHUNG. SHUNG is very angry. HUAN discovers that somebody has changed the wedding cock. She questions SHUNG……

1x9 - Episode 9

November 1, 2001

FANG returns home and sees that the debtor is chasing LAI. She rebukes LAI. YEE tells FANG the truth. FANG is touched. LAI and SHUI feel very guilty when they learnt that FANG has had to tolerate all kinds of abuse in the KOO’s family. SHUNG sees FANG donate all her presence to the villagers and finds her act very strange. FANG explains that she want to atone for their sin. FANG wants to pick some fortune fruit to return to YIU. SHUNG accompanies FANG. They eventually find the fortune fruit for YIU. YU gives SOU an opera music book and encourages him to take charge of the fire again. SOU feels more confident. However, he fails again. YIU then takes charge of the fire. SHUNG encourages YIU. HUNG suggests YIU to let SHUNG try. SHUNG is lack of confidence. FANG encourages SHUNG to try his best for FUNG’s sake. LUNG gives SHUNG a chance. However, LUNG has already made up his mind. When SHUNG knew about LUNG’s decision, he is glad……

1x10 - Episode 10

November 2, 2001

SHUNG is promoted. SHUNG and FANG could then sit in the meal table together with other workers. LAM teases them. SHUNG negotiates with LAM. SHUNG takes charge of the fire. All want to give SHUNG hard time. Fortunately, with YIU’s help and SHUNG’s flexibility, he could then complete his job smoothly. LAI and SHUI have come across two strange passengers in their ferry, KAM KAT CHEUNG and his student HO SHUI CHING. There are different opinions during the wine tasting section. CHEUNG comments the wine impartially. YIU finds him boosting. However, LUNG employs him to take charge of the wine factory. CHEUNG is very picky. All hate him but not dare to speak a word. CHEUNG makes a new box and also hits the steaming pot with a hammer. All do not know about his intention. CHEUNG then explains to them. SHUNG respects him from the bottom of his heart. Even HUNG, who got the nickname of “Golden Tongue”, does not challenge CHEUNG’s wine……

November 5, 2001

The workers of the steaming section are very dissatisfied with CHEUNG. They join together to confront against CHEUNG. LUNG devises to make CHEUNG commit to teach the KOO’s members to make good wine. CHEUNG claims to gamble with the workers so as to improve their relationship. In fact, he just wants to test their real character and nature. FANG shows evidence against LAM who intended to rape her during the worshipping ceremony. However, all believe that she has seduced LAM and punishes her to expose under the sun. SHUNG and SOU devise to make YU tell them the truth. HUNG pretends to uphold justice and righteousness and sacrifices LAM so as to make LUNG face the issue of re-selecting the family successor of the KOO’s family. LUNG forces YIU to get married and have children. However, YIU still cannot forget KOU. YIU’s sincerity eventually touches FANG. FANG has changed her impression on YIU and SHUNG.

November 6, 2001

Besides LAM and SOU, CHEUNG also allows SHUNG to become his student. He even deliberately insults FUNG in front of SHUNG so as to test SHUNG. SHUNG then refuses to become CHEUNG’s student. FANG understands SHEUNG more and establishes friendship with him. She even encourages him to become CHEUNG’s student. CHEUNG shows evidence that LAM and SHUNG slips away from the dormitory without his consent. He punishes them to carry buckets of water. SHUNG knew about CHEUNG’s intention. CHEUNG burns KOU’s legacy. YIU hurries to stop CHEUNG but could only save half chair. She is heart-broken. SHUNG quarrels with CHEUNG for YIU’s sake. SHUNG backs home angrily. He thinks that FANG has broken his tincture, he scolds FANG terribly. Later, he found that he has wronged FANG. CHEUNG commands all to go up the hill and pee at the water spring that flows towards the field. All do not know about his intention.

November 7, 2001

TONG thinks that CHEUNG deliberately finds fault on him. He is very dissatisfied with CHEUNG. HUAN sets FUNG up and scandals that she is an ominous person. All throws stones and spit on her. SHUNG protects FUNG. FUNG goes out to place her shoes at midnight and carelessly causes a fire. The villagers are very angry. TONG instigates all to urge FUNG and SHUNG to leave the village. Fortunately, FANG tells LUNG the case. LUNG hurries to the spot and speaks for FUNG and SHUNG. SHUNG persuades FUNG to leave. Unexpectedly, FUNG claims that he wants to wait for her husband. SHUNG is mad. YIU brings the workers to help producing some new shoes. SOU also brings all clothes from his home to support SHUNG. SHUNG feels grateful for their help. The worship ceremony is very smooth with LUNG’s help. All pray sincerely.

November 8, 2001

SHUNG agrees with FANG that one has to uphold one’s principle since this incident. YIU goes to see SHUNG and SOU at the steaming room and asks them to prepare for making “cinnamon fragrance”. CHEUNG is very dissatisfied. HUAN and FANG become enemies since FUNG’s case. YIU notices that their relationship has deteriorated. YIU then invites FANG to work in the fermenting section. LUNG agrees. The workers reject FANG. CHEUNG breaks the wine pot filling with cinnamon fragrance. YIU is very upset. All are dissatisfied with CHEUNG and refuse to work. YIU does not want to affect the smooth operation of the wine factory and asks the workers to resume duty. YIU works very hard to keep her sorrow under control. She is so exhausted that she faints. FANG intends to play prank on CHEUNG together with SHUNG for YIU’s sake. However, they are in vain. FANG and YEE play prank on CHEUNG and make him very embarrassed. CHEUNG loses his watch……

1x15 - Episode 15

November 9, 2001

CHEUNG tells them the origin of his watch. All know why CHEUNG has to make himself so nasty. FANG returns the watch to CHEUNG. Unexpectedly, CHEUNG breaks it. YIU burns KOU’s only legacy. All think that YIU has eventually overcome her sadness. FANG worries YIU who only did it for the sake of other people. TUNG, the one who instigated SHUI to smuggle goods, goes to see LAM. He again forces LAM to steal the KOO’s wine. LAM sets TUNG up and denounces him stealing wine. TUNG escapes away. FANG makes YIU frankly admits that she still cannot forget KOU. YIU decides to make “cinnamon fragrance” again. YIU disappears. SHUNG knew that she has gone up the hill to pick “fortune fruit”. LUNG sends people to look for her. Someone kidnaps LUNG when he is waiting for YIU. SHUNG and FANG go everywhere to search for YIU. YIU by chance eavesdrops YIU’s hearty words and is shocked.

November 12, 2001

YIU is very embarrassed. FANG blames SHUNG who does not know take this opportunity to express his feeling. SHUNG denies his love to YIU. FANG is mad. TUNG forces SHUI to transfer some goods. SHUI discovers that it was LUNG. FANG by chance unveil SHUI and TONG’s illegal deed. TUNG tights FANG up. YIU and SHUNG are shocked to learn that LUNG was being kidnapped when they returned home. SHUNG suspects TUNG. YING accompanies YIU to give the wine-making book as a pledge so as to procure enough money to save LUNG. SHUI rescues FANG and LUNG. TUNG discovers them when they are trying to escape away. TUNG chases after them till they were carelessly fallen down from the hill. SHUNG and CHEUNG search everywhere for TUNG. LAM steals all pledge money when all are looking for LUNG. LUNG has broken his leg. FANG takes care of LUNG’s wound. TUNG told SHUNG that LUNG and FANG had fallen down from the hill. He worries a lot for them.

November 13, 2001

SHUNG intends to look for LUNG and FANG down the hill. However, pestilential vapours are spreading all over the hill. SHUNG has no alternative but to give up. HUNG follows LAM and discovers the ransom money. LAM thinks that HUNG must force him to hand over the ransom. Unexpectedly, HUNG has another thought. All summon LUNG and FANG’s spirits and wish to find their dead bodies desperately. Unexpectedly, FANG brings LUNG back. LUNG has become handicapped and does not want to see any body. HUNG takes the opportunity to take charge of the wine factory. FANG begs LUNG to forgive SHIU but is in vain. FANG encourages SHUNG to express his love to YIU. YIU deliberately mentions KOU in front of SHUNG so as to make him retreat. LUNG hides in his room all day. HUNG then recommends himself to take charge of managing the wine factory. HUAN objects. YING suggests YIU to be the one in charge.

November 14, 2001

YIU becomes the manager of the wine factory. She encourages all to try their best to save the wine factory. HUNG checks the wine and finds that there is some problem. All are shocked. LUNG blames them who has sold the wine-making book and elected YIU to be the manger. HUNG refutes LUNG. The workers worry that the wine factory could not pay them salary in time. SHUNG thinks of a way to save the wine. CHEUNG cannot stand FANG and SHUNG who irritates him with the bygones, CHEUNG eventually discloses the wine saving method. SHUNG follows CHEUNG’s method but the wine is abnormally bitter. All blames SHUNG. CHEUNG finds out why the wine is so bitter. FANG tells YIU the reason. YIU is very frustrated. HUNG threatens LUNG to assign him to be the manager, otherwise, he will not save the factory. LUNG refuses HUNG. The workers, uncle GIT and MAN spread rumour against the wine factory and lead to conflict. YIU is heart-broken……

November 15, 2001

SHUNG makes use of herbal medicine to make bitter wine. However, there is still room for improvement. FANG shows SHUNG’s tooth which he had buried in the wine factory when he was a child. She points out that SHUNG has had blossomed a very special feeling on the wine factory. YIU thinks that SHUNG’s way is too risky. FANG insists. YIU eventually allows SHUNG to try. LUNG agrees. The striking workers hurt LUNG. SHUNG is very disappointed. The workers even attempt to seize the wine stock for compensation. FANG breaks the wine pots and eventually touches their heart. All give support to the factory and help move the equipment up the hill so that tey can make wine with fresh herbal leaves. FANG runs back to the wine factory to get a pair of arm protector for SHUNG. YIU witnesses the scene. The brushwood is nearly used off. SHUNG is vexed. Meanwhile, the steaming boiler is nearly falls down.

November 16, 2001

All try their best to stop the boiler from falling down. However, the brushwood is nearly used off. FANG thinks of a device. HUNG shows his gold and claims that he could save the wine factory. LUNG knew that HUNG has a thorough plan to seize the wine factory. When LUNG is going to hand over the wine factory to HUNG, YIU returns with good news. YIU discovers that SHUNG and FANG have established an extraordinary good relationship. She worries a lot for them. CHUENG points out that GIT and MAN are bought over by somebody to stir up trouble. He asks them to give testimony against HUNG but is in vain. LUNG announces that FANG will become the manager of the wine factory. FANG worries that she could not be herself after taking up this responsibility. SHUNG persuades FANG not to accept the position. YIU knew SHUNG’s intention. They know what FANG and SHUNG are worried about and express that they cannot further develop……

November 19, 2001

FANG decides to let the workers have three days paid holiday during the wine factory maintenance period. TONG thinks that FANG is trying to win the workers’ favour. Although FANG has been promoted , she insists to stay with the workers and refuses to move to live with the KOO’s family. With LUNG’s consent, FANG employs SHUNG to be her assistant. FANG arranges SHUNG and YIU to handle the wine order so as to let them have more time to stay together. YIU again takes the ferry and thinks of the past events. SHUNG advises YIU to shout. It does help her to release some sorrow. LUNG decides not to punish SHUI and allows FANG to return home to worship her mother. LAI is glad to see SHUI and FANG. LAI worries a lot for FANG who now has become the wine factory manager. When FANG heard that the KOO’s debit their own spending to the wine factory, she has made up her mind. FANG upholds justice and righteousness. All dare not to say a word.

November 20, 2001

SHUNG and YIU return to the wine factory and sees that the workers are working very hard. They praise FANG’s management skills. FANG relies on head and tale to decide whether SOU will handle the filling section. Although they find such method not serious, they have no alternative. FANG arranges SHUNG and FUNG to live in a brick house. SHUNG feels grateful. When HUNG learnt that SOU is going to take charge of the filling section, he buys over the bottle supplier. LUNG intends to make new wine to solve the current financial problem but it does not work. LUNG then relies on CHEUNG. YEE’s fiance cheats all her money and flees away. YEE blames CHEUNG and demands him to compensate her loss. SHUNG and SOU find out that there is insufficient stock of bottle. SOU is very anxious. YIU sees FUNG brings soya sauce bottle to everybody. YIU then thinks of a way to help SOU. HUNG’s plot failed……

November 21, 2001

CHEUNG teases SHUNG who wants to become the son-in-law of the wine factory. SHUNG ignores his comment. HUAN and TONG recommend SOU to LUNG. SOU does not want to take all merit. LUNG appreciates him more. CHEUNG tells FANG that YEE is being cheated. YEE beats CHEUNG. YEE cheats at the casino. CHING helps YEE and become her scapegoat. All worry a lot for the current financial problem. FANG is optimistic. SHUNG thinks of a new way of making wine after tasting FUNG’s dishes. FANG makes dish with the new wine and let everybody taste it. However, they still worry about how to market this new wine. FANG invites the wine merchants and a celebrity, SUN LING BO for wine tasting. He even introduces SOU to BO. Unexpectedly, TONG and HUAN appear and anger BO. They spoil the meeting. FANG knew that BO owes CHEUNG. She decides to hold the show as arranged. BO shows up in time……

1x24 - Episode 24

November 22, 2001

FANG again invites BO and the wine merchants for dinner. She again introduces SOU to BO in the hope that BO will accept SOU to become his student. However, they are in vain. YU encourages SOU not to give up. BO requests SOU to copy all his music books in one night. CHING discovers that YEE has sold herself to the brothel. He sympathizes with her. He ransoms YEE. All help SOU to copy the music book. SOU is so exhausted that he intends to give up. Meanwhile, SHUNG appears to support him. BO leaves by ferry. SOU performs somersault at the shore. BO is touched and allows SOU to become his student. However, SOU decides to stay in the wine factory. SOU encourages SHUNG. SHUNG eventually can overcome his fear and holds YIU’s hand. He even proposes to marry YIU in front of LUNG. All are shocked.

1x25 - Episode 25

November 23, 2001

LUNG wants SHUNG to enter the KOO’s family. SHUNG agrees for YIU’s sake. FANG helps to prepare for the wedding. SOU envies them. FUNG objects the marriage as she looks down upon herself. She still calls FANG to be her daughter-in-law. SHUNG is vexed. YIU does not mind. YING questions YIU why she chose to marry SHUNG. YIU avoids give answer. CHEUNG discovers that CHING swallows fund and goes to the brothel with SHUNG to save CHAI. They see that CHAI is being forced to get married. SHUNG ransoms CHAI. CHAI refuses to eat and drink at the wine factory. All sighs for her. YIU is upset to find out that SHUNG does not tell her about CHAI’s case. FANG consoles YIU. YING insults YIU after drunk. Fortunately, CHEUNG arrives in time and saves YIU. FANG asks SHUNG whether he loves her on the eve of his wedding. However, SHUNG falls asleep. FANG kisses him secretly.

November 26, 2001

YIU and SHUNG are very anxious before the wedding. Both SHUNG and YIU disappear on the wedding day. HUNG assures that SHUNG owes YIU. SHUNG expresses his love to FANG. FANG is vexed. YING beats SHUNG. YIU returns and stops YING. She even claims not to marry forever. All are shocked. CHEUNG points out that FANG and SHUNG are getting themselves into trouble. FANG is vexed. YIU and SHUNG face each other frankly. This incident does not hurt their friendship. CHAI does not speak a word since she moved in the KOO’s family. YIU eventually touches her. A group of refugees arrive their village. FANG and YIU decided to give them food. FANG glimpses SAN in the group of refugees. In fact, SAN is still alive. However, he feels shameful to see his relatives again. He mingles into the group of refugees in the hope of taking a look at his father. He felt very sorry to learn that LUNG has become handicapped……

1x27 - Episode 27

November 27, 2001

War leads to great inflation. FANG and SHUNG go to the nearby town to buy rice. FANG deliberately brings a servant together in lest SHUNG and her will stay together. LAM insults CHAI. CHEUNG passes by and saves CHAI. YIU and YEE misunderstand CHEUNG. CHEUNG tries to make YEE and CHING tell him how they have had an affair but is in vain. All thinks that YEE is pregnant. CHING takes up the responsibility. SHUNG and FANG devise to make CHEUNG tell them how to use less time to make wine. YIU blames CHEUNG who is copying other’s method. SHUNG and FANG bring CHEUNG and YIU to find some yellow peaches to make new wine. They even intend to plant their own yellow peaches. LUNG envies FUNG that SHUNG is so filial to her. He decides to adopt SHUNG. SAN quarrels with the refugees who slander LUNG. He points to them with a gun. The refugees immediately escape away. SAN meets LAI and SHUI. They think that he is a spirit and are very scary.

1x28 - Episode 28

November 28, 2001

LAI and SHUI see that SAN is very irritated. SAN insists not to return to the KOO’s family. They promise to keep the secret for him. SHUNG fears that the relationship FANG and him will deteriorate after being adopted. LAM spreads that SHUNG is LUNG’s illegitimate son. People are in doubt. FUNG is cheated to trap herself into a pig’s cage so as to repent for her sin. SHUNG knew that they are insulting FUNG so s to take revenge on him. SHUNG then refuses to become LUNG’s adopted son. CHAI denounces LAM and HUAN who sets FUNG up. FANG beats LAM. All are shocked. LUNG drives HUAN away for FUNG’s sake. FANG intends to become SHUNG’s adopted sister so as to end their relationship. SHUNG suggests elope away. They cannot hide their feeling anymore. SAN losses his temper as he cannot make a wine glass. LAI and SHUI ask him what has happened. SAN is so irritated that he shoots at them.

November 29, 2001

LAI hits SAN. SAN faints. SAN knew that LAI has hidden his pistol and is very nervous. SHUNG and FANG find SHUI very strange. They follow him. Unexpectedly, they find SAN and persuade him return home. However, SAN refuses. FANG leads SAN to tell them about his encounter. SAN is still very emotional and irritated. FANG and SHUNG sympathize for SAN’s bad encounter. They promise to keep the secret for him. CHAI recommends herself to cure LUNG’s leg with acupuncture. LUNG saw that HUAN apologizes to SHUNG sincerely. LUNG then forgives HUAN. CHEUNG thinks about his lost wife when he saw YIU who is so caring and kind to the small animals. He blossoms a positive feeling on YIU. YING denounces that SHUNG and FAN do have had very subtle relationship. They hurry to FANG’s home and find them stay in the room together. She is shocked to see a guy, CHEUNG SUN SHAN, who looks very similar to KOU. HING works for SHAN. He proposes LUNG an unfair deal. LUNG refuses. SHUNG demands to leave the wine factory so as to avoid suspicion. However, LUNG trusts SHUNG. LUNG wants to reconcile with HING. However, HING demands LUNG to bow to him. SHUNG bows to HING on behalf of LUNG. HING is very jealous. HING even breaks up his relationship with SHUNG.

It makes SHUNG think of ways to improve the wine. LUNG is very dissatisfied with the new wine. CHAI suddenly swears not to get married for the rest of her life. All are shocked. HUNG sighs. HING points out that the more increase in sales volume, the more LUNG will suffer. HING analyses the whole situation to SHAN and forces him to choose between woman and career. SAN does not listen to SHUNG’s explanation. He orders people to drown them with the pig’s cage. HING and LUNG are very upset. HING cannot imagine LUNG is the one who understands him the most. SHUNG is being drowned. CHEUNG attempts to save him but is in vain. YIU tries to convince the villagers but is also in vain. Meanwhile, FANG appears and is willing to die together with SHUNG. Fortunately, SAN arrives in time and divorces FANG. YING sees that LAM is very dissatisfied with HUNG who becomes an autocrat. LAM is then in league with YING. SHUNG finds out that it was HING who begs SAN to forgive SHUNG. He decides to see HING with FUNG for a family reunion. HING promises that he will return home. YIU drinks with his brothers before she get married. LUNG passes the wine formula to HUNG. HUNG is shocked. In fact, LUNG intends to kill himself for YIU’s sake. Fortunately, they stop LUNG in time. CHEUNG orders people to rescue YIU and LUNG but is in vain. He even hurts himself. SHAN is very angry at YIU who prefers to die but not to flatter him. When SHAN is going to kill YIU, SHAN’s enemy arrives. SHAN flees away together with YIU. The soldiers seize the village. All villagers flee away. HING is shot for the sake of saving SHUNG. HUNG risks his life to get back the wine seed from YING and LAM. HUNG gives the wine seed to SHUNG and asks him to give it to LUNG. LUNG asks SHUNG to use the wine seed to save HING. It does work……

However, HUNG refuses. LUNG is sad. They report to LUNG what they required to rebuild the wine factory. LUNG is vexed. Meanwhile, the workers return and are willing to offer financial support to rebuild the wine factory. LUNG is touched. LUNG is sad to see HUAN become mad. He decides to forgive her. HUAN is glad. YIU devises to make HUNG and LUNG depend on each other and rebuild the brother relationship. FANG fears that SHUNG will give up her because of SAN. She is very anxious. All work hard together and eventually produce “Yuk Ying Heung”. SHAN suddenly returns to see YIU. The wine factory gives rice the refugees affected by the war. HUNG heard LAM’s voice. The father and son eventually reconcile.

HUNG and LAM eventually reconcile. They celebrate for the completion of the new wine “Yuk Ying Heung”. LUNG takes the chance to urge SHUNG and FANG get married. However, SHUNG hesitates. FANG is very upset. SAN and SHUNG have a long talk in front of the waterfall. Both decide to express their love to their love one. When FANG and SHUNG , SAN and CHAI are preparing for their weddings, they are being forced to join the army. FANG and SHUNG again are forced to separate from each other. SAN meets his ex-superior. His life is at stake. SHUNG risks his life to rescue SAN. FANG works hard in the factory. She misses SHUNG a lot and make a new wine named “Red Tears” which is very popular. FANG waits for SHUNG when the war is over. However, FANG only sees YING. She heard from YING that SHUNG has already died. FANG is determined to marry SHUNG no matter he is alive or not……….
