1x1 - Episode 1

July 7, 1994

KWAN succeeds in arresting the members of a gang of filthy business. He wants to torture the criminal so as to make him admit the crime. However WAI disagrees with him and states that the group dealing with -filthy business will take over the case. YI is the inspector aiming at fighting filthy business. She impersonates a prostitute so as to bait the customer and succeeds in accusing the gang. YI and WAI go to attend their friend's wedding ceremony. Being questioned, YI admits that she admires WAI but WAI tries to stay away from her. KWAN accompanies his mother to a restaurant. For something minor, he argues with LAN. Later there is a robbery and they manage to catch the thief. However both want to take the thief to the police station. YI wants to send some policemen whom the criminals are unacquainted with. She requests to have KWAN's assistance. Thinking that he can be promoted, KWAN takes the Job……

1x2 - Episode 2

July 8, 1994

LAN and KWAN goes to help a girl who is being raped. LAN loses her self-?control and nearly kills the sex maniac. KWAN thinks that LAN must have similar unpleasant experience and tries to calm her down. KWAN's mother worries about KWAN as she learns from the TV that spies sent by the police -force must have real sex with prostitutes so as to get evidence. KWAN does not know how to convince her. WAI admires LAN but he has no courage to disclose his love. LAN regards WAI as her good -friend only. KWAN observes WAI's attitude and persuades him to chase after LAN. KWAN tries to create a chance -for them to date each other. LAN does not want to spoil WAIs mood and does as he wants. LAN comes across a man looking like KIU her father. She follows him to an inn. WAI misinterprets LAN, thinking that she invites him to the inn. With KWAN's help, YI spoils TIN's business……

1x3 - Episode 3

July 11, 1994

To deal with YI, TIN employs Mr. FOSTER the retired magistrate to be his consultant. YI knows that she meets a keen enemy. LAN and KWAN are tricked by FOSTER and records the process with a hidden video camera. They are accused of abusing their power. As a result they are punished by suspending their duty by one week. After being raped, MAY wants to kill herself as she cannot face the public. LAN goes to counsel her and convinces her to accuse the sex maniac. KWAN and LAN have worked together for a period o-f time and they realize that the other is a good partner. KWAN invites LAN too see a film but by mistake, KWAAI takes his colleague's ticket and they go to see a blue movie. Both are embarrassed but this removed the wall between them. KWAN and LAN report to duty again and YI send them to search every corner in Hung Fat Building. TIN is angry and poisons her with some sex medicine……

1x4 - Episode 4

July 12, 1994

YI and WAI lose their self-control and spend a night together. After it, WAI apologies but YI claims that she does not mind.WAI does not want her to be embarrassed so he does not reject her love in front of the others. YI collects evidence to prove TIN guilty but the witness meets a traffic accident and is killed. FOSTER states that all the evidence are forgery and TIN. has bribed witnesses and sends a subordinate to admit the accusation for him. TIN is set Tree. In fact there is an illegal immigrant who has seen SIN at the scene. She has escaped and now she wants to seek help from TIN. To protect himself. TIN sends people to kill CHAU MAN. MAN is seriously hurt and is sent to hospital. MAN has to receive the second surgery or she will die. Knowing that MAN is the only witness, YI sends policemen to protect her. YI wants to judge to postpone the conclusion but is refused……

July 13, 1994

YI is accused as she has disturbed the jury and she is Tired. The others are angry but YI is still happy as she has sent to jail. KWAN is excited as his performance is appreciated and he is promoted. IAIAI has pity on YI's situation and YI declares that she wants to give birth to a baby -for WAI. She is disappointed to know that IAIAI only regards her as his friend. KWAN is instructed to deal with a crazy man. However his phobia of height nearly kills him. Luckily helps him to overcome the situation. This gives a firm -foundation to the relationship bet""'8en them. YI finds that WAI admires LAN. She is depressed and tries to stay away Tram IAIAI. ME and his girlfriend JOE are seem by KWAN when they are stealing a car. Being followed by KWAN, ME's car crashes. He is seriously hurt but he refuses to have KWAN’s help. MAN is entangled by a sex maniac and she is saved by LAN‧s mother……

1x6 - Episode 6

July 14, 1994

Episode 6 FONG seeks counseling from a psychiatrist. As she is discontented to find her inner heart being disclosed, she kills the psychiatrist and destroys all evidence. KINAN goes to the clinic to investigate the case. Though he sees FONG, he does not suspect her. CHEUNG uses the money of the company to gamble but he loses all his money. In the casino, he meets FONG and soon they become intimate friends. CHEUNG goes home and sees that MAN is crying. He is scolded by his father and he swears not to gamble again. As a worker of CHEUNG’s shop quit, MAN wants to employ a new worker to help her. FONG successfully wins MAN's trust and gets the job. In Tact this gives her more time to stay with CHEUNG. CHEUNG is forced to pay the debt by the loan shark. MAN has no money to help him. FCJ\IG claims that she can help them but she wants to become a partner of their business. MAN and CHEUNG have to accept the term reluctantly……

1x8 - Episode 8

July 18, 1994

FUNG forces MAN to leave CHEUNG. Having a heart attack, MAN faints. When MAN wakes up, she asks CHEUNG to divorce with her. CHEUNG's father begs her to forgive CHEUNG and stay. MAN sends people to take FUNG's baby and takes the baby to LAN's mother. FUNG suspects that MAN has stolen the baby but she cannot find the baby in her house. When she knows that the baby to kept in LAN’s house, she goes to take the baby back. WAI is satisfied with his marriage and returns after his honey moon trip. The others are happy too. LAN wants KWAN to tell her more about CHAT but KWAN knows nothing as CHAY was original his supervisor's spy. When LAN knows that KWAN is going to meet CHAT, she follows him. KIU is aware of LAN and tries to stay away from her. KIU seeks help from KWAN as members of Big Circle Gang want to kill him. On knowing his situation, LAN and her mother go to save him……

1x9 - Episode 9

July 19, 1994

MAN is chopped into pieces and FONG uses the meat as raw materials to make sweet and sour pork. -The pork is welcome. CHEUNG worries as MAN has disappeared for a long time. He reports to the police and LAN carries out investigation work. CHEUNG sticks posters in the street, hoping that it can be helpful. One neighbour approaches him and tells him that MAN and FONG have a quarrel before her disappearance. CHEUNG suspects FONG and tells LAN. LAN goes to FUNG's house and finds evidence, thus she arrests FUNG. After being questioned, FUNG tells everything including the case the psychiatrist being murdered. CHEUNG feels guilty and swears that he will not gamble again. He chops his finger for it. LAN is sad. YI leads a happy life ~ being a housewife. She also works a coach of judo.

1x10 - Episode 10

July 20, 1994

One day LAN wants to save a woman and her son falls as the woman is shocked to know that his husband has a secret lover. Suddenly she loses her consciousness and falls down from the balcony. Luckily she does not get hurt. INAI and the others go to visit LAN and they are surprised to find LAN reacting uncomfortably when they asks about KWAN. YI asks for the reason and LAN tells them that she has told Kf.4JAN after her being rapped in the past. From then on, K"4JAN has tried to stay away from her. INAI finds K"4JAN and asks him to explain. KWAN tells him that he was the rapper. As he was abandoned by his lover, he took medicine which made him crazy and rape LAN. LAN overhears the conversation and is confused. Being convinced by WAI, KWAN decides to ask LAN to marry him. LAN makes up her mind to marry KWAN and KWAN is excited. On the day of marriage, LAN changes her mind and she asks for more time to think about the case……

July 21, 1994

LAN locks herself in her room as she has no courage to meet the others. YI manages to counsel her so that she can work again. On the other hand, KWAN feels guilty as his behaviour in the past has affected LAN so much. He is so depressed that his mother worries much. YU BILL is regarded as a "Big Gangster". He joined the robbery as his girlfriend's father asked for a large sumof money for the marriage. He was arrested by KWAN and he determined to kill KWAN. One day BILL has a chance when he is sent to hospital. He uses a injector as weapon and a hostage to protect him so that he can escape. The police force is anxious and BILL is regarded as the most dangerous criminal. Bill threatens KWAN and leaves a bomb in LAN's car. KWAN rushes to save LAN and she is not hurt. KWAN is in formed of BILL's next target in robbery. He wants to arrest him but is in vain……

1x12 - Episode 12

July 22, 1994

The police force is angry as BILL has attempted several serious cases and killed a number of policemen. As KWAN thinks that BILL's aims at him so he continues his work. Once he takes an innocent people as BILL and he is subject to criticism by the press. When he is fighting crime, KWAN is exhausted and faints. Receiving treatment, KWAN recovers completely. BILL secretly returns to China. He brings a lot of money to FUNG's father. FUNG's father is happy but he reports to the police as he wants to get the promised money from the police. BILL has to escape. FUNG's father poisons FUNG so as to sell her to a rich man. BILL saves FUNG and decides to go to the USA with her. FUNG wants to take pictures in wedding gown and BILL wants to satisfy her want. However the police -force is attracted and follow them. FUNG is hurt and BILL leaves her as the police will send her to the hospital……

1x13 - Episode 13

July 25, 1994

KWAN mother is shocked as she has been kidnapped. LAN sends policemen to protect KWAN and his mother. KWAN feels ashamed. KWAN is in despair and LAN tries to counsel him, making him gather enough courage. WAI receives in-formation stating that CHU PONG from Chinatown comes to Hong Kong to buy fire-arm. He sends subordinate to keep an eye on him. One the other hand, BILL is introduced to PONG who can help him go to the USA. BILL finds that it is more difficult to commit robbery and he wants to find a new partner who is good at driving. One day, he finds ME and he invites ME to be his partner. ME is a street wanderer who relies on the money he earns Tram car races. Moreover his girlfriend JOE helps him by stealing cars. MEI is KWAN's brother Tram different fathers. As he thinks that KWAN's father has killed his father, he regards KWAN as his enemy. He refuses KWAN who wants to give him opportunities to be good.

1x14 - Episode 14

July 26, 1994

KWAN impersonates PONG to meet BILL. However ME is sent by BILL for the meeting. ME discloses KWAN's identity but KWAN does not admit. ME is confused. ME dares not to tell BILL that he knows KWAN as if BILL knows that they are brothers, BILL will not trust him. KWAN approaches BILL. BILL kidnaps LAN to see KWAN's reaction. KWAN succeeds in tricking BILL and makes BILL release LAN. Thinking that BILL will bring him to the USA, ME begs KWAN to let BILL and‧ him go. KWAN is in a dilemma. KWAN arrests BILL and calls WP!I to take him to the police station. BILL manages to escape by chopping his palm. ?

1x15 - Episode 15

July 27, 1994

BILL regards KWAN as his enemy, making him lose his palm. He wants to torture KWPN. ME overhears that BILL is going to kill KWAN's mother. He asks JOE to lead her away. However BILL has arrived. Luckily, JOE manages to finish the job. BILL takes ME as hostage to threaten KWAN. BILL kills ME in +rant o+ KWAN so as to torture him. JCE loses all her hope after ME's death. She wants to kill BILL for ME but in vain. At last she is killed. KWAN's mother becomes mad after ME's death and has to receive treatment. KWAN is also shocked and LAN accompanies him. When KWAN knows that FUNG is BILL's girlfriend, he decides to force BILL to face him with FUNG FUNG knows that BILL is a criminal and thus she accepts her father's suggestion. She comes to Hong Kong to be a rich man's secret lover. BILL rushes to see FUNG when he knows that she has arrived……

1x16 - Episode 16

July 28, 1994

fter arresting BILL, KWAN's talent is highly appreciated. WAI gives him a chance of promotion and suggests that he should take some courses of law. KWAN has gain confidence. KWAN's mother has to stay in hospital. In order to make her recover, LAN and the doctor tell her that ME has gone overseas. KWAN's mother believe them and gets well. WAI takes care of YI as she is bearing a child. YI is excited to welcome the new life. YI knows that KWAN and LAN love each other but they have no courage to disclose their feelings. KWAN wants to make compensation but he does not know what to do when LAN tries to stay away from him. KWAN has difficulties in his study and he seeks help from LAN as WAI is too busy. This creates a chance to bridge them When they want to start all over again, LAN's attitude changes as she learns that a sex maniac is found in Tuen Mun. KWAN is unable to calm her down……

1x17 - Episode 17

July 29, 1994

WAI sends KWAN to set up a special unit to investigate the case in Tuen Mun. For LAN's sake, WAI does not sen LAN to the group but LAN insists on joining the investigation work. At last WAI agrees. LAN thinks that the sex maniac is a dweller in Tuen Mun, so she moves to live there with her colleague LING. LAN rents a unit from TIN MAN CHUN who runs a shop selling sweet soup. LAN also laughs at him being a coward in front of his wife. LAN meets her farmer schoolmate LIP CHING WA who is a doctor in Tuen Mun. When WA knows that she is still unmarried, he wants to win over her heart. CHUN becomes the chairman o+ the management committee of the building. When the committee is having a meeting in his shop, there is a girl being entangled outside his shop. He rushes to save the girl. CHUN suggests the organize a team to fight against the sex maniac.

1x18 - Episode 18

August 1, 1994

LAN pretends to be an agent o+ real estate and one night she accompanies a client to visit a unit. Her client leaves earlier and is attacked by the sex maniac. LAN still not there and has no evidence to catch the sex maniac. LING receives calls with filthy jokes and her underwear disappear from time to time. However she does not relate this to the case. One night when LAN is attacked by the sex maniac in her house when she returns after work. LAN is shocked and KWAN visits her. This recalls her unpleasant memory and she refuses to see KWAN. Luckily WA manages to calm her with treatment. KWAN secretly goes to visit LAN and he is disappointed to see LAN being so intimate with WA. Being encouraged by WAI, KWAN goes to see LAN again. LAN is touched and agrees to meet him but the curtain between them still exists. After investigation, WAI and KWAI arrest the sex maniac attacking LAN……

1x19 - Episode 19

August 2, 1994

LAN questions CHUN about the sex maniac and CHUN tells her that he has left the bus be-Fore she gets into it. LAN is discontented as she cannot arrest the sex maniac. CHUN leaves the bus and goes to the site where he picks up something and he leaves with satisfaction. LAN is confused as both WA and KWAN want to win over her heart. CHUN is a coward in front o+ his wife so wherever she is out, he uses a telescope to peep LAN and LING and this makes him lose self-control. KWAN escorts LAN home and on the way, they save LING. KWAN finds that the sex maniac looks like CHUN. KWAN suspects CHUN and searches his house. He collects information to arrest and accuse him. However everyone believes CHUN to be a good man and CHUN is released. ?

1x20 - Episode 20

August 3, 1994

LAN cannot stay in Tuen Mun as her real identity has been disclosed. YI suffers +ram blood cancer and her baby may die if she does not have any surgery. WAI tells YI the fact and the news shocks YI. Being encouraged by WA, YI decides to fight for her future. When they are searching +or suitable marrow, WAI finds that his is suitable and they decide to carry out the operation. CHUN entangles LAN and rapes her. Luckily WA arrives and fights with him. CHUN is caught but WA faints. After surgery, YI's condition worsens but she has to courage to withstand it. WA is still unconscious and LAN whispers that she loves him, hoping that it can help. WA is happy and wakes up but later he finds that LAN still misses KWAN. KWAN does not want to hide his crime and decides to disclose his raping of LAN so as to receive trial……
