On a cursed island plagued by a strange plague called "the Malaise", a king has his alchemists develop a remedy to save his people from the disease... but the antidote turns the kingdom's inhabitants into monsters! A prophecy reveals the advent of an immortal hero who will bring peace by killing the Demon King, who is responsible for this chaos. It's up to Laure Esposito, young Guardian of the Order of Truth, to find this chosen one with the Flamehead and save the world from destruction. Good for her, because the chosen one doesn't give a damn about finding a cure for the Malaise. Bringing peace? He just wants to be left alone!
