The first episode, "We Are People of 'Okay'," focuses on the satire of who is considered to this day Israel's greatest satirist and the one who redefined the boundaries of Israeli freedom of expression. The episode recounts Levin's early satires and the controversies they sparked, including the removal of "Queen of a Bathtub" from the stage under pressure from the Mapai government, the censorship battle over "The Patriot," his most provocative satire, and "Murder," Levin's final political play, which was received with applause by the audience. At the same time, it sketches the portrait of a young and talented student, a soldier in the Six-Day War returning deeply shaken from the battlefield, a playwright who withdraws from writing satire for many years, and, above all, the character of a man who decides to stand up to a nation and hold up a particularly harsh mirror to its face.
