MA YAT MING (Bowie Lam) gangs up with his wife LAM BUI KEI (Kristal Tin), who is the chairman of a publicly listed company, stock analyst WONG HOI (Choi Tsz Kin) and investment fund manager HO LAI MAN (Vivien Yeo) to engage in financial fraud and stock price manipulation. KEI manages to flee from Hong Kong in the midst of ICAC’s investigation but decides to come back upon discovering the affair between MING and MAN. Fearing that KEI will sooner or later turn herself in, MING is planning on killing her. Suspecting that this is a fraudulent claim devised by MAN and broker HO KWOK MING (Cheng Tse Sing), the insurance company refers the case to ICAC. Preliminary investigations reveal that all the supporting documents provided by MAN are real and valid. But Investigator HUI KEI SHAN (Fiona Sit) soon discovers a new clue with her acute powers of observation…
