Discussed are the quality of chicken meat, the poultry industry and the NEPLUVI (Dutch Poultry Processing Industry Association), the ingredients of McDonald's chicken nuggets (fried chicken meat) that are being investigated by the Consumers' Association, the difference between free-range and battery chickens, the origin of French free-range chicken meat that must come from Loué according to the label and the living conditions of broilers.

It is examined to what extent consumers' perception of the concept of fresh is in accordance with the way in which the concept is used (appropriately and inappropriately). The reporters are followed on visits to Wageningen University, various fishmongers, the editors of Van Dale's dictionaries, the office of the Consumers' Association and the production department of the Friesche Vlag dairy factory.

The contents of packaged products are examined: the reason for packaging, misleading texts on packaging, permitted deception, the Advertising Code Committee, making a lot of money with little effort, the temptation of packaging and making higher profits by designing luxury packaging. During the program, photos are taken of products to see if they match the photo on the packaging.

The Value Inspection Service is looking into the meaning and value of the dolphin-friendly quality mark in the tuna industry. According to the industry, the logo is a quality mark that no dolphins have been harmed while fishing for tuna. Previously, many dolphins were deliberately killed by tuna fishermen.
1x6 - Cocoa Slavery (part 1)

Report on child slavery on the cocoa plantations in Ivory Coast. It is investigated whether the claims are true about the use of child slaves imported from neighboring countries on large cocoa plantations, who are ruthlessly abused by the plantation owners. It is confirmed from various sides that this is indeed the case and slavery is confirmed by statements from escaped child slaves. Slavery is a serious crime in the Netherlands and purchasing products made from slaves is tantamount to fencing under Dutch law. By buying chocolate, says Teun van de Keuken, he is guilty of a criminal offense. For that reason, he wants to report himself to the judicial authorities in order to expose the disinterest of consumers and the cocoa industry.

Research into the origin of the raw materials of Campina's PET bottles. The dairy manufacturer states on its PET bottles that they consist of at least fifty percent recycled material. The question is whether Campina can live up to the claim it makes on the packaging. Continuation of the report on the use of child slaves on cocoa plantations and the disinterest of the cocoa industry in doing something about it. Research shows that at least three percent of the chocolate produced contains cocoa contaminated by slavery.

It is investigated how products that carry the EKO quality mark distinguish themselves from ordinary products. They investigate Terrasana organic peanuts from China, organic salmon from Ireland and organic muesli from South America. In addition, Skal International is investigating how products are certified with an organic quality mark.
