In the second episode of this series, we follow through the first nine months of the war & it's many horrors. Giving an on the ground perspective is Donald Gill who was one of the first Marines to take part in the Liberation of Korea. We also explore the controversial reputation of General Douglas MacArthur along with his tactics & decisions that some say prolonged the war.

In the third part of this series, we explore the continual fighting that is tearing Korea apart. We follow the stories of Canadian WWII vet Charlie Forbes & Col. Canadian Charles Forbes tells of the bloody fighting on Hill 355 as this modern war becomes more reminiscent of the first World War. Jang Woo returns on the eve of their wedding, and the two are briefly, painfully united, but the eruption of war tears them apart once again, forcing him to fight alongside Tae Ho on top of everything.
