He ends up enlisting the help of his father on this project, but Andy ends up taking over the care and observation of the bees and develops a special kinship with the bees. Louie tries to figure out how he is going to give a presentation on the bees when he can't get anywhere near them with his father in the picture.

Yet, he may have taken on a task that's more than he can handle when he tries to help down-and-out friend of the family get back on his feet. For Louie's birthday, his grandma gives Louie a sweater which she made for him. While trying to write the thank you letter, Louie decides to instead play with his friends. When he finally writes the letter, he finds out his grandma has died.
