With new found fame comes haters, as an internet post blames Jae-hoon for a medical accident.

The post accusing Jae-hoon of the medical accident goes viral, with the production unable to control the press that constantly spews out negative news. Meanwhile, Jae-hoon contemplates after receiving a call from Professor Choi asking if he'd return to neurosurgery.

Jae-hoon decides to go back to the hospital and Yeo-reum decides to quit her job. The day the last episode of Kingdom of Love Season 2 airs, everyone sits around with their own stories. Jae-hoon gazes at her with warmth in his eyes, and she tells him she wants to leave for a while.
