FA PING dresses up to work at the police station as usual. She is very excited to meet YING NAM, the man she adores secretly, at the corridor. Police inspector WU CHING-LUNG leads his team to perform their duties. FA PING's beloved dog helps to complete the task. FA PING dresses up to attend her parents WU DIP and FA SHUM's wedding anniversary banquet. Her relatives mention that she works as a policewoman and WU DIP is dissatisfied. LAW TAI-SHU and his colleague MAK KA-LUN pretends to visit the prostitutes at an apartment for they want to capture the procurer WAN PAN. However, FA PING believes that they are whoremasters and she captures them. FA PING discovers that TAI-SHU is the one she admired in her secondary school. TAI-SHU's father LAW PAK invites him to check out a residential unit together after work. TAI-SHU suggests buying the flat. LAW PAK mentions again that his wife has spent all the money for buying flat long time ago.… ...

LIN-HEUNG tries to check out WAN PAN's condition at the hospital. When she leaves, she meets DAN-DAN. Later, FUNG-NEI arrives as well. The three of them discuss that they have borrowed money from the loan shark through WAN PAN. DAN-DAN's husband TONG HON-SZE is promoted to manager but his salary remains the same and DAN-DAN complains about it. FUNG-NEI's mother-in-law Mommy CHU scolds her for there are lots of cartons in the house. LIN-HEUNG's ex-husband informs her that he is not able to pay the alimony on time. Her son TAI-CHIT is not respecting her as well. CHING-LUNG announces that the "Apple Tree Op" will be carried out. When FA PING and TAI-SHU walk on the street, the residents stare at them curiously. TAI-SHU complains that FA PING is making herself too noticeable. DAN-DAN discovers that FA PING's suitcase is the same as hers and she chats with FA PING. They meet the housing estate's "Four Beauties" MUI, LAN, KUK and ZUK.… ...

FA PING takes back her suitcase and she discovers that everything inside is very messy. She questions DAN-DAN if she has left a little pillow and they end up in discord. TAI-SHU and FA PING discover that LIN-HEUNG is burning offerings outside and they realize that they are living in a haunted house. TAI-SHU complains to CHING-LUNG for assigning a plumber job to him and CHING-LUNG tries to hide away with excuse. FA PING goes to the restaurant for breakfast and she is being isolated. FUNG-NEI takes the initiative to talk to FA PING and she explains everything to her. TAI-SHU tries to get information from Auntie MUI while fixing the pipes. He learns from her telephone conversation that she will be borrowing money with the other Beauties on the next day. FA PING shows TAI-SHU a video she took secretly. She comments that DAN-DAN and LIN-HEUNG are suspicious but TAI-SHU thinks that the evidence is not strong enough.… ...

TAI-SHU returns home to check if his father will be transferred to another position. He learns that LAW PAK will stay in the housing estate and he suggests him to retire but LAW PAK rejects him. DAN-DAN reveals to HON-SZE that she wants to get pregnant again but HON-SZE rejects her by saying that the living expense is too high. FUNG-NEI's beauty shop will be opened soon and she distributes coupons to the neighbors. The Four Beauties suggest Mommy CHU to officiate the ribbon cutting ceremony. FA PING learns from the Four Beauties that FUNG-NEI is a new immigrant but she earns a lot of money and FA PING finds it suspicious. CHING-LUNG assigns KA-LUN to work at the security office according to TAI-SHU's request. KA-LUN tries to please LAW PAK to facilitate his future works. KA-LUN tries to maintain the running order at the beauty shop and he finds FUNG-NEI familiar. The girl MARUKO-CHAN is believed to have stolen something.… ...

TAI-SHU suggests FA PING to pick up MARUKO-CHAN from her school when she is free and FA PING agrees reluctantly. DAN-DAN and LIN-HEUNG visit WAN PAN's home again. They try to get back the remote-controlled car and mobile phone by fishing rod but they fail again. FA PING meets KA-LUN while carrying out investigation on FUNG-NEI. KA-LUN says that FUNG-NEI must be innocent but FA PING asks KA-LUN to carry out investigation secretly. LAW PAK is injured while bringing FA PING to the school and FA PING fails to pick up MARUKO-CHAN on time. Everybody worries if MARUKO-CHAN was kidnapped by the rapist. DAN-DAN asks Auntie MUI to question the neighbors by phone messages. DAN-DAN and FA PING agree that they will put aside their personal matters temporarily. The case is solved but CHING-LUNG scolds them for having a finger in every pie. DAN-DAN and LIN-HEUNG visit TAI-SHU in the late evening.… ...

DAN-DAN reveals that WAN PAN is not awake yet. FUNG-NEI and the others are relieved. After taking a shower, FA PING is shocked to discover that all her clothes are replaced with old-fashioned clothes for housewives. TAI-SHU explains that their supervisor has asked him to change her image. DAN-DAN tries to queue for the admission application form to a famous school for her daughter. She meets HON-SZE's boss Mrs LEE and she chats about the stock market with her. FA PING is no longer dressing fashionably and she is very down. She meets DAN-DAN accidentally and they reconcile with each other. A gangster calls FUNG-NEI to inform her that he will collect protection money from her on the next day. FUNG-NEI is frightened and KA-LUN promises to help her. FA PING tries to learn stock trading from DAN-DAN with the excuse that she will be able to contact the loan shark when she loses money.… ...

FA PING requests CHING-LUNG to provide financial support to her for trading stocks but CHING-LUNG tries to reject her with excuse. WU DIP learns that FA PING plans to set up her own business after earning money from the stock market and she suggests her to get money from FA SHUM. All colleagues discuss that HON-SZE is getting a higher salary eventually. TSIN-TSIN reveals that this is because DAN-DAN has complaint to Mrs LEE. HON-SZE is upset to hear it. TAI-SHU follows LIN-HEUNG. After a careful transaction, LIN-HEUNG's handbag is being stolen by the thief. LIN-HEUNG tries hard to get back her wisdom pagoda and she is injured. TAI-SHU tries to find out why she could have enough money for her son's overseas education. LIN-HEUNG invites TAI-SHU and FA PING home for dinner. TAI-CHIT is angry with her mother and he runs away. TAI-SHU follows TAI-CHIT to console him and this reminds him of his past as well.… ...

DAN-DAN suspects that her husband is committing adultery and she is shocked. She tries to keep his important documents so that she could visit his office with excuse. LAW PAK accidentally discovers that LUI FONG is dating with RICHARD. He tries to declare that LUI FONG is TAI-SHU's girlfriend and LUI FONG is embarrassed. FUNG-NEI and YUN-CHEUNG accompany Mommy CHU to have dim sum. YUN-CHEUNG keeps discussing the beauty shop business with FUNG-NEI. Mommy CHU is being ignored and she is upset. DAN-DAN asks Mommy CHU to pass some pre-ordered goods to FUNG-NEI. Mommy CHU discovers some contraceptive pills inside and she questions FUNG-NEI angrily. WU DIP and FA SHUM discuss about the performance for the Opera Club's anniversary celebration banquet. FA SHUM suggests WU DIP to find PIU HUNG and everybody will be amazed. HON-SZE tries to change the schedule of the family gathering with excuse because of ROSE's phone call. FA PING suggests following him for further investigation. FA PING meets up with DAN-DAN, LIN-HEUNG and FUNG-NEI. LIN-HEUNG is curious for FA PING performs professionally. DAN-DAN discovers HON-SZE and ROSE signing up for a Europe trip at the travel agency. They then go to the jewelry shop to buy diamond ring. DAN-DAN is enraged. LUI FONG leaves hurriedly after visiting LAW PAK and LAW PAK follows her. LAW PAK discovers RICHARD arriving with flowers and he believes that LUI FONG is in a relationship with RICHARD. FA PING discovers that LAW PAK is out of his mind. TAI-SHU waits for LUI FONG with flowers after work. He discovers LAW PAK arriving to stop LUI FONG and RICHARD. LAW PAK begs RICHARD to leave LUI FONG on behalf of TAI-SHU. HON-SZE invites DAN-DAN to travel to Macau together. DAN-DAN asks Mommy CHU to help taking care of her daughter LING-LEI and FA PING suggests helping her voluntarily. DAN-DAN gives LING-LEI the room key before departure. She reminds LING-LEI that she should keep the key with her all the time. FA PING reads a story to LING-LEI by her bed. LING-LEI suddenly takes out FA PING's little pillow and reveals the truth to her. WU DIP finds the incomplete address of PIU HUNG. When she tries to search around, she starts a quarrel with the neighbors. The Four Beauties recognize that WU DIP is FA PING's mother immediately.… ...

When they return, they discover that FA PING and TAI-SHU are quarreling with each other for FA PING has lent 100 thousand dollars to her friend. DAN-DAN and the others try to question FA PING privately. They realize that FA PING has actually lost 100 thousand dollars from the stock market. FA PING tries to ask if she could borrow money from the loan shark. Everybody strongly objects the idea and they suggest lending her money instead. FA PING is deeply touched. HON-SZE discovers that DAN-DAN has taken some sexy photos and he starts a quarrel with her angrily. LIN-HEUNG invites WAN CHING to have afternoon tea together.… ...

LIN-HEUNG and the others are worried and they try to get close to WAN CHING. KA-LUN reports TAI-CHIT and WAN CHING's case to TAI-SHU. TAI-SHU believes that LIN-HEUNG and WAN PAN are related. FUNG-NEI gives Mommy CHU the recovered cassette tape. She questions if Mommy CHU is the singer of "Yau Kau". LIN-HEUNG accidentally discovers that Brother SHUI is selling the supermarket's milk powder to the parallel traders. She wants to unmask him but Brother SHUI invites her to join him.… ...

FA PING learns that YING NAM has worked in the Criminal Investigation Bureau before and she asks him to help LIN-HEUNG. FA PING and TAI-SHU return home. TAI-SHU takes care of FA PING's wound attentively and FA PING is touched. WAN CHING goes to the hospital to visit WAN PAN and she meets CHING-LUNG there. Because of WAN CHING, CHING-LUNG helps to wipe WAN PAN's body voluntarily and he discovers a bar code tattoo at WAN BAN's back. TAI-SHU and FA PING's relationship is getting better. They prepare dinner together at home just like a couple. When they are sharing romantic moment together, YING NAM suddenly calls FA PING and invites her to dinner.… ...

She reveals to LIN-HEUNG that the loan shark wants to use her beauty shop. DAN-DAN reveals to HON-SZE that she is worried for FUNG-NEI and LIN-HEUNG. HON-SZE asks her to calm down. In fact, HON-SZE has discovered FA PING and TAI-SHU's real identity accidentally and he seeks help from TAI-SHU. WAN CHING goes to the shopping mall to buy facial masks. He reveals his tragic childhood to FA PING. When MEI-YUNG is following FA PING, a kid spills some inks on her body. FA PING brings her home to change clothes. On the other hand, FA SHUM encourages WU DIP to meet up with TAI-SHU. WAN CHING has recovered from her leg injury.
