CHIANG YUEN is the president of Telllycray Investment Limited Company. His company specializes in financing and helping the companies with high potentials but limited funds. The scientist LAI TSUN collaborates with CHIANG YUEN to develop an epoch-making environmental-friendly material successfully. CHIANG YUEN has two capable subordinates CHUNG HIU-YEUNG and DING MAN-CHI. They have been supporting CHIANG YUEN for a long time and the three of them are close friends. MAN-CHI's boyfriend proposes marriage to her for several times but she rejects him every time. HIU-YEUNG believes that MAN-CHI is fond of CHIANG YUEN secretly and he reveals it to CHIANG YUEN. In order to help HIU-YEUNG, MAN-CHI pretends to be his girlfriend. HIU-YEUNG thanks her by treating her to dinner and they recall the time when they worked together at a law firm. CHIANG YUEN wants to help YAN-SHUN but Ban Yan Supermarket is a company under his father's group. MAN-CHI and HIU-YEUNG meet up with the art gallery's owner NINA. HIU-HEUNG and NINA are friends. MAN-CHI is jealous to discover that they are acting intimately. CHIANG YUEN's private driver YUEN BUN suspects that he is suffering from dementia. CHIANG YUEN later discovers that YUEN BUN's problem was caused by his son SIU-TIN who has just returned to Hong Kong secretly. MAN-CHI starts an argument with HIU-YEUNG regarding NINA's investment. CHIANG YUEN invites MAN-CHI to dine together and he finally realizes that MAN-CHI is in love with HIU-YEUNG secretly.… ...

Supermarket. CHIANG YUEN brings SIU-TIN to the mahjong hall for gambling. After learning about SIU-TIN's reasons for returning to Hong Kong, he decides to force SIU-TIN to work in his company by making him in debt at the gambling table. TSAU-KAN is SHING-TIN's wife TSAU-PING's younger brother. He values friendships and relationships very much. Trying not to count on his family, TSAU-KAN quietly runs a computer company on his own. After learning that CHIANG YUEN is financing "Abe Ya", TSAU-KAN questions CHIANG YUEN and they start a fight. Ban Yan Supermarket fails to conquer "Abe Ya" and SHING-TIN decides to step in. During CHIANG SING and TONG CHING's wedding banquet, CHIANG YUEN and TSAU-KAN worry that TONG CHING's ex-boyfriend will come to make a mess. After learning that TONG CHING's ex-boyfriend has got her sexy photos on the bed, they decide to solve the problem together.

Surprisingly, the front-line employees of Ban Yan Supermarket decide to support him. "Abe Ya" becomes a leading conscientious company. When CHIANG YUEN celebrates with his colleagues, he meets SHING-TIN and SHING-TIN hints that there are other reasons for his failure. SIU-TIN suddenly buys a luxurious gift for YUEN BUN and YUEN BUN suspects that he has stolen money from the company. TSAU-KAN suddenly invites CHIANG YUEN to meet up secretly for he discovers that HIU-YEUNG has bribed the employees of Ban Yan Supermarket. On the next day, HIU-YEUNG discovers that MAN-CHI acts as if nothing has happened and he decides to forget the matter. SHAN-SHAN is TSAU-KAN's girlfriend but she doesn't believe that he is SHING-TIN's relative. CHIANG YUEN discovers that SIU-TIN practices martial arts and he always goes to challenge others at different boxing clubs without letting YUEN BUN knows. After learning about SIU-TIN's reasons, CHIANG YUEN recommends him to challenge the people at Ten Ron Boxing and SIU-TIN is defeated by the female coach SIU-MING. MAN-CHI is hurt by HIU-YEUNG's indifference and she tries to release her emotions by stealing. Luckily, CHIANG LAI discovers it and she stops her on time. CHIANG TSUN chats with TONG CHING and TSAU-PING misconceives that TONG CHING is seducing CHIANG TSUN. YUEN BUN suddenly arrives at Ten Ron Boxing to challenge SIU-TIN and SIU-TIN is defeated. CHIANG YUEN arrives and everybody learns about YUEN BUN's past story. CHIANG LAI learns that MAN-CHI is caught in a dilemma and she talks to her. She is curious about HIU-YEUNG and she tries to get in touch with him privately. CHIANG SING represents SHING-TIN to coordinate with TONG CHING's father for a collaborative project. However, he is not being recognized at all. TSAU-KAN buys diamond earrings for SHAN-SHAN. However, the earrings have been changed into a diamond ring and he proposes marriage to SHAN-SHAN. TSAU-KAN and CHIANG YUEN discuss that TONG CHING is committing adultery. CHIANG SING passes by and he overhears their conversation. CHIANG SING chats with CHIANG YUEN and TSAU-KAN. He decides to leave SHING-TIN and work for CHIANG YUEN. YUEN BUN wants to move to the USA with SIU-TIN. Before their departure, SIU-TIN finally reveals his true feelings to his father. TSAU-KAN and CHIANG YUEN learn from the magazine that SHING-TIN is believed to have an affair with the restaurant manager. He learns from her that SHING-TIN's secretary SZE-LAM has threatened her before. TSAU-KAN decides to tell TSAU-PING that SZE-LAM has threatened TSU WAN and he accidentally discovers that SHING-TIN is committing adultery with SZE-LAM. HIU-YEUNG has rejected MAN-CHI but he still cares about her very much. When CHIANG YUEN is in trouble, HIU-YEUNG meets up with SHING-TIN secretly. He tries to persuade her to give him up but MAN-CHI believes that HIU-YEUNG has his own reasons. Abe Ya is closed. YAN-SHUN loses everything and he wants to commit suicide. HIU-YEUNG wants to explain himself to CHIANG YUEN but CHIANG YUEN rejects him. HIU-YEUNG is heartbroken. He returns to his ward and he discovers MAN-CHI there. MAN-CHI and CHIANG LAI go to TSAU-KAN's company to help him and they learn that SHAN-SHAN has stolen money from the company. TSAU-PING learns that the media has discovered SHING-TIN's extramarital affair and she meets up with all children. SZE-LAM is pregnant. TSAU-PING has no choice but to allow her to join the family. Everybody worries that CHIANG YUEN will commit suicide just like YAN-SHUN. However, SHING-TIN reacts coldly to the matter. SIU-TIN is determined to win in the boxing contest. He finally conquers his rival and becomes the champion. Time flies and CHIANG YUEN has been missing for a year already. During this year, SIU-TIN is injured and he is not able to join the contest. The business of Ten Ron Boxing is also getting bad since they fail to manage it properly. SZE-LAM has given birth to a baby girl for SHING-TIN and everybody in town talks about it. SHING-TIN organizes a banquet for celebration with all friends and relatives. After joining the banquet, all family members return home and they meet KO HING at the door. KO HING is suffering from autism. FA-LA says that she is his mother and they want to meet CHIANG YUEN. On the other hand, HIU-YEUNG has returned from abroad and he meets up with CHIANG LAI.… ...

SHING-TIN asks somebody to pick up CHIANG YUEN at the police station but CHIANG YUEN rejects it. SIU-TIN picks up CHIANG YUEN and he brings him to the hospital to visit FA-LA and KO HING. FA-LA's husband SUNNY is CHIANG YUEN's university classmate and business partner. SUNNY suffers from an incurable disease and he wants to offer CHIANG YUEN his computer company but FA-LA strongly objects the idea. SIU-TIN and CHIANG LAI are getting close suddenly. SIU-TIN feels that he might be able to win CHIANG LAI's heart one day. On the other hand, SIU-MING is shocked to discover that she is pregnant. CHIANG TSUN performs badly at work because of love affairs. SHING-TIN is disappointed and he asks SZE-LAM to handle the company matters for him.… ...

CHIANG YUEN visits SUNNY at the hospital and he helps FA-LA to find the missing KO HING. CHIANG YUEN and SIU-TIN bring KO HING to the beach for relaxation. CHIANG YUEN recalls the past moments with SHING-TIN. TSAU-KAN's family members usually have short lifespan. TSAU-KAN's doctor reveals that his cancer is getting worse and TSAU-KAN is very sad. The media keeps reporting the negative side of CHIANG YUEN ever since he returns to Hong Kong. CHIANG YUEN believes that somebody has bribed the reporters. After learning that CHIANG TSUN and CHIANG SING are playing tricks to stop him from opening a restaurant, CHIANG YUEN decides to negotiate with them. TSAU-PING invites CHIANG YUEN to a tea gathering and she persuades CHIANG YUEN to let go of his hatred and returns to Mao Kwong to support his brothers and SHING-TIN. FA-LA discovers that KO HING is dating a girl secretly. CHIANG YUEN accompanies FA-LA to look for KO HING and they recall their past romance as well. HIU-YEUNG suddenly invites MAN-CHI to meet up. He reveals his overseas life to MAN-CHI and MAN-CHI realizes that he has been missing her badly. YUEN BUN asks SIU-TIN to tidy up SIU-MING's personal belongings and SIU-TIN discovers SIU-MING's diary. SIU-TIN and CHIANG LAI discover that TSAU-KAN is behaving abnormally. They discover TSAU-KAN performing a strange ceremony at the peak and TSAU-KAN suddenly collapses. SHING-TIN visits his wife's grave with SZE-LAM and they meet CHIANG YUEN. They discover that the gravestone is damaged.

SHING-TIN invites CHIANG YUEN to return to Mao Kwong Group and CHIANG YUEN accepts the offer. When CHIANG YUEN leaves home, he is surprised to discover FA-LA at the residential unit next to him. FA-LA needs to manage her husband's computer company and she asks CHIANG YUEN to help taking care of KO HING. After taking care of KO HING, CHIANG YUEN returns to Mao Kwong but KO HING follows him secretly. Mao Kwong's security guard discovers KO HING and KO HING is out of control. CHIANG YUEN tries to console KO HING and he discovers his blood donation record. CHIANG YUEN believes that KO HING is not the son of FA-LA's husband. The hospital suddenly informs CHIANG YUEN that SUNNY is dying. SUNNY reveals the past story to CHIANG YUEN and he asks CHIANG YUEN to help taking care of his children. CHIANG YUEN learns that CHIANG TSUN is taking drugs. All family members are worried and they try to hide the matter away from SHING-TIN.… ...

In order to alleviate people's dissatisfaction on the company, CHIANG YUEN decides to collaborate with CHIANG SING. SHING-TIN's subordinate SUN-CHUNG agrees to fight against SZE-LAM with them as well. CHIANG TSUN refuses to eat at the hospital. TSAU-PING consoles him and his heart is soften eventually. He then reveals his relationship problems to his family members. Somebody tries to take over FA-LA's company and she doesn't know what to do. CHIANG YUEN arrives with his team of experts to help her. FA-LA and her son meet SHING-TIN. After learning about KO HING's situation, SHING-TIN encourages him. SIU-TIN tries to hide away from reality by indulging in gambling and he stays away from SIU-MING. YUEN BUN cannot bear it and he urges SIU-TIN to quit gambling. MAN-CHI accompanies TSAU-KAN to visit a friend in the elderly centre. Afterwards, TSAU-KAN decides to live in the elderly centre. SIU-TIN forgets SIU-MING's birthday and SIU-MING realizes that SIU-TIN doesn't really love her. CHIANG YUEN completes the acquisition works of the telecommunications business successfully and SHING-TIN praises him in front of everybody.… ...

After learning that the TV station is organizing an artist training programme, TSAU-KAN leaves the elderly centre to meet up with SIU-MING. When they leave, they meet a middle-aged man and this man tries to give FA-LA a hard time. HIU-YUENG meets CHIANG LAI and he discovers that CHIANG LAI is not getting along well with her boyfriend WING-NIN. On the other hand, HIU-YEUNG learns that his mother has got a brain tumor. SIU-TIN is dating with a colleague secretly and he is not seeing SIU-MING regularly. SIU-MING is caught in a traffic accident when she returns home alone. FA-LA's company tries to launch the new application but SHING-TIN issues an injunction to them immediately.

He finally takes the courage to resign as a way to fight against SHING-TIN. CHIANG YUEN gives up fighting with SHING-TIN in the court. FA-LA's company is closed and everybody is depressed. PAK-KIN tries to reveal KO HING's background to him by mobile phone video and KO HING becomes very emotional after watching it. CHIANG TSUN cannot bear to see SZE-LAM humiliating TSAU-PING. He finally accepts his mother's suggestion to date with a rich girl. CHIANG YUEN invites FA-LA's staff to meet up. He reveals that he will set up a new company with his ex-wife KA-YU and TSAU-KAN so that they could fight against SHING-TIN together. CHIANG LAI wakes up in the hospital to realize that WING-NIN has died. She believes that she has killed him and she turns mad. HIU-YEUNG accompanies MAN-CHI to the wedding cake shop and he suddenly learns that his mother is dying in the hospital. SIU-TIN tries to steal some information from TSAU-KAN's computer and he is shocked to discover a love letter to MAN-CHI. KA-YU is upset to discover that CHIANG YUEN is intimate with FA-LA. In order to collaborate with CHIANG YUEN again, CHIANG TSUN decides to return to Mao Kwong. CHIANG LAI leaves the hospital and she becomes the focus of the media.… ...

She declares her love to HIU-YEUNG and hopes that he will separate with MAN-CHI. CHIANG TSUN returns and SHING-TIN makes arrangements to improve his status in the company. TONG CHING's father is embroiled in a corruption case in China. CHIANG SING has no one to count on and he doesn't know what to do. SHING-TIN even sells CHIANG SING's restaurant so that CHIANG SING will have no income. CHIANG YUEN is worried about CHIANG SING's father-in-law and he tries to speak to CHIANG SING and offers support to him. CHIANG SING is penniless and he vents his anger on TSAU-PING and CHIANG TSUN. CHIANG TSUN gets rid of his drug abuse image successfully and he attends an international trading conference on behalf of Mao Kwong. SHING-TIN is taking a rest at home and SZE-LAM handles all the important matters in the company. TSAU-PING tries to get involved in the matters but SZE-LAM tries to avoid it by attacking her. After the separation of MAN-CHI and HIU-YEUNG, TSAU-KAN declares his feelings to MAN-CHI but MAN-CHI cannot accept it. CHIANG YUEN learns that CHIANG SING has left the hospital. He forgives him and invites him to work for him. SIU-TIN cannot forget SIU-MING and he tries to sneak into the dressing room by pretending to be somebody else. SIU-MING reveals that she doesn't know him for she has lost part of her memory. TSAU-PING tries to collect the criminal evidences of SZE-LAM but she worries that SHING-TIN will discover it.… ...

CHIANG SING tries to look for TONG CHING but he discovers that she has got a boyfriend already. CHIANG SING is very ashamed with CHIANG TSUN's death and he decides to join an overseas investment project. SIU-MING recognizes SIU-TIN again and she tries to get back her lost memory. On the other hand, SIU-MING's manager tries to convince SIU-TIN and SIU-TIN decides to leave SIU-MING. SHING-TIN discovers that HIU-YEUNG is gaining control of the company and he decides to stop it. However, he is embroiled in a corruption case suddenly. He has got a stroke because of the huge stress and he collapses. Mao Kwong's shareholders seize the chance to elect HIU-YEUNG as the chairman. When SHING-TIN wakes up, he is not able to speak at all and he is very shocked and upset.

HIU-YEUNG becomes the chairman of Mao Kwong and he relocates SHING-TIN's subordinates to other countries. MAN-CHI and TSAU-KAN discuss about CHIANG TSUN's last words to CHIANG LAI. MAN-CHI finds it suspicious and she discusses the matter with CHIANG YUEN and the others. Everybody suspects that HIU-YEUNG is involved in CHIANG TSUN's death.
