Born only a day apart, Zheng Ze Shou and Fu Li Gong have been inseparable ever since their childhood; now as adults, they live right next to each other and even work for the same law firm. On the night of Fu Li Gong’s eighteenth birthday, Zheng Ze Shou and his classmates organize a small bash for Fu Li Gong at their school roof top until the security arrives and chases them away. At this point, Zheng Ze Shou pulls Fu Li Gong into a classroom for them to hide and then gives him a key chain with a minus sign carved on to it as his birthday present. Ten years later, a few days before they both turn twenty-eight, Zheng Ze Shou’s father sets him up with a girl just like he does every six months or so. But this time around, Fu Li Gong too has a blind date…

Forced by their fathers to meet with their potential marriage partners, Zheng Ze Shou and Fu Li Gong resort to putting on a show orchestrated by Zheng Xue Qing, Zheng Ze Shou’s younger sister, and successfully manage to scare off their dates. But when their deception is unexpectedly revealed, a huge argument breaks out between Zheng Ze Shou and his father, after which the former heads to the bar to drown his sorrows. When Fu Li Gong shows up to take him home, Zheng Ze Shou grabs him, pulls him down and—kisses him? Meanwhile, Jian Ying Ze, who runs a laundromat above a bar, has had enough of the loud music coming from downstairs. To add to it, the bar patrons have left the entrance to the laundromat in an absolute mess. Upon seeing the clutter, Jian Ying Ze directly confronts and is about to have it out with Nikita, the manager of the bar, when popular bartender Yuki shows up and snatches the broom out of Jian Yin Ze’s hand…

Having successfully defused the conflict between the bar and laundromat, Yuki is now friends with Jian Ying Ze and the two of them have gotten much closer. One night a few days later, Zheng Ze Shou and Fu Li Gong are invited back to the bar: one of their friends has just been dumped, and another friend is throwing a party for him to celebrate his return to singlehood. At Yuki’s suggestion, everyone at the bar starts playing Kings, and as part of the game, Zheng Ze Shou is made to kiss their newly single friend. Upon seeing this, Fu Li Gong abruptly decides to leave the bar, feeling unwell...
