Laxmi Bai's note to Queen Victoria warns the celebrators of 100 years of British rule over India about the deadly outcome on June 23. Queen Victoria orders Rose to end Jhansi's revolution either politically or militarily. Rose informs Queen Victoria about the tense pro-Laxmi Bai political situation in Jhansi and neighbouring areas. A disguised Rose hears Laxmi Bai's mutinous speeches addressing the natives and avoids capture by Karma. Laxmi Bai realises that Rose's mission has started in Jhansi.

Ladai Sarkar orders her men not to attack Laxmibai till she and her ten confidantes close in. When they do, Ladai Sarkar asks her soldiers to strike. Laxmibai and Ladai Sarkar's men fight. Laxmibai marches towards Ladai Sarkar and into her trap. A shocked Tatya Tope realises that Ladai Sarkar has used his own tactics and warns Laxmibai not to march ahead but it's too late because Ladai Sarkar's men surround Laxmibai. Ladai Sarkar and Laxmibai confront each other. Laxmibai and Ladai Sarkar have a war of words, with the former calling Ladai Sarkar a coward. Meanwhile, Tatya Tope summons Raghunath, Sunder, Bandu and Ghaus Khan. He says that they must change their strategy and divert the attention of the Orchha Army. Laxmibai fights with Ladai Sarkar and spares her again but Ladai Sarkar exhorts her soldiers to finish off Laxmibai! Nathey Khan and his men manage to surround her but just then, explosions occur and Laxmibai holds Nathey Khan captive.

Laxmibai warns Nelson that Jhansi belonged to her, and would always do so. She promises to return to Jhansi. She also vows that she would celebrate Damodar's birthday with her parents and son before sunset the next day. Hamilton warns Nelson that Laxmibai would surely return but Nelson assures him that their army would tackle her. He also reminds Hamilton that their spy, Rao Dulajo, would inform them about Laxmibai's moves. Raghunath calls his soldiers and informs them that they would attack the town of Jhansi first next morning so that Hamilton would send his men there. Laxmibai says that she will enter Jhansi in the night itself. Rao Dulajo sends a message that Laxmibai would attack the town of Jhansi the next morning. Laxmibai enters the palace when Hamilton opens the gates for the rations. Hamilton realises that he was misled when he's informed that Nelson was chasing Laxmibai.

Laxmibai promises Nelson that she will return to take back Jhansi from him. Seeing Ellis hold him at gunpoint, Nelson vows to destroy him. While Ellis is questioning Nelson, one of the British guard hits Ellis on the head, and Ellis collapses. Meanwhile, Laxmibai's confidantes bravely fight Hamilton and his men. Hamilton and Laxmibai come face to face with each other. She exhorts the residents of Jhansi to come out and fight the British, so they put up a valiant fight against them. Hamilton is held captive. Meanwhile, the Jhansi subjects request Laxmibai to celebrate Damodar's birthday in the temple of Jhansi. She presents Damodar with the soil of Jhansi. When Damodar bows to pray, Laxmibai sees Gangadhar blessing him and reminding her to get back the kingdom of Jhansi. Meanwhile, Nelson tortures Ellis and demands to know what his relationship with Laxmibai was that he went against his own people.

Laxmibai gets Ellis treated. When she realises that Tatya Guru is not pleased with her decision, she promises to get back the fort. Lord Dalhousie seeks to have huge reinforcements sent to Jhansi to help Nelson protect Jhansi Fort. Laxmibai tells her confidantes that there were very few British soldiers inside the fort presently and thus, it was the best time to attack. Ghaus Khan gets his ammunitions and men towards Jhansi. At the camp, Laxmibai decides that she will attack and not wait for Ghaus Khan's army or hers to arrive. Laxmibai decides to enter Jhansi Fort secretly but wonders how. Meanwhile, Nelson's strategy is to surround Laxmibai's army. Nelson revels in the royal luxuries and dons the king's attire. Nelson even enters Laxmibai's chamber and throws away her painting with Gangadhar. Laxmibai narrates about Gangadhar's and her life to little Damodar.

Nelson goes down the secret passage and is delighted to see the tunnel end at Jhansi town. Meanwhile, Ghaus Khan orders that the huge boulders be moved so that they can reach Jhansi faster by this route. Laxmibai is shocked and angry to see Nelson dressed as a king and strutting in the palace. Unknown to Laxmibai, Nelson informs Rao Dulajo about the secret tunnel and tells him to ask Laxmibai, Tatya Tope and Raghunath to enter the fort from the tunnel so that anyone accompanying her would get killed. Laxmibai too talks about the tunnel to her confidantes, including Rao Dulajo. Rao Dulajo suggests that she take either Tatya Guru or Raghunath along too but she says that she will enter the fort alone. However, Tatya Guru insists that she not go alone, so she decides to take Rao Dulajo, much to his shock! Rao Dulajo immediately sends a note asking Nelson to stop his plans but Raghunath comes just then and he drops the note.

Laxmibai's men inform Laxmibai that there is a huge boulder kept above the tunnel. A very worried Rao Dulajo tells that they are doomed because there is no escape. Meanwhile, Nelson triumphantly watches the mayhem in Jhansi. Inside the tunnel, one of Laxmibai's soldier's legs gets stuck under a boulder, so she asks Rao Dulajo to remove it. The soldier begs her to carry on but she promises to take him out of trouble and they succeed. Laxmibai finally manages to find an escape route. Hamilton decides to lay a trap for Laxmibai's confidantes and orders that the fort gates be opened so that his soldiers can kill Tatya Tope and the others. However, Tatya Tope and his soldiers fight bravely the British.

Nelson is shell-shocked to see his wife Mrs. Rose Nelson and his sister Ms. Jane Nelson with Laxmibai. Laxmibai orders that his soldiers surrender and that he release the prisoners of Jhansi. A frightened Nelson asks his men to drop their weapons. Laxmibai then orders that he vacate the palace and promises him a safe passage. When Nelson accuses her of kidnapping innocent women, she retorts that he too had seized her palace, holding Damodar at gunpoint! Rose pleads with Nelson to leave Jhansi but Hamilton refuses to vacate the palace, and orders Laxmibai to kill Nelson's family! The people of Jhansi too demand blood for blood but Laxmibai asserts that she will not kill them. Laxmibai assures Nelson that she will not harm his family but not release them either unless he vacates the palace.

Laxmibai assures Damodar that they would get back their fort today. Damodar promises never to let the British ever enter their fort again. A British officer, Dunlop, spots Ghaus Khan approaching with his men and attacks them but Ghaus Khan manages to escape. Laxmibai asks Nelson to take the safe passage but Hamilton warns Nelson not to. Nelson gets furious with Hamilton and holds him at gunpoint. Nelson asks his soldiers to drop their weapons first and leave the fort. On the other hand, Dunlop orders his men to enter the fort from the same gate from which Nelson will leave and thus corner Laxmibai. Unaware to Dunlop and his men, Ghaus Khan overhears this. Meanwhile, Nelson reaches the gate from which he will leave and asks Laxmibai to release his family. Laxmibai obliges. Nelson then asks Laxmibai that the gate be opened, so she asks her gatekeeper to do the needful.

Before Ghaus Khan is able to inform Laxmibai about the British ploy, a knife is thrown at his back. An injured Ghaus Khan informs Laxmibai that all their soldiers have been killed. Seeing the British Army outnumbering theirs, Tatya Guru tells Laxmibai that they must leave Jhansi but looking at the atrocities being inflicted on her subjects, she decides to fight them. Tatya Guru says that Jhansi would be orphaned if anything untoward were to happen to her. Chimnabai says that their homes have been set afire and vows never to forgive Laxmibai if her unborn baby was hurt. Laxmibai asks Tatya Guru and the others to escape but decides to stay back herself. Laxmibai vows to die for Jhansi. Nelson says that Jhansi is theirs and they only need to finish off the Queen of Jhansi. Rose scolds Nelson for wanting to kill the woman who had saved his family!

Lord Dalhousie is delighted to receive a telegram informing him that the flag of the East India Company would be unfurled the next morning on Jhansi Fort. Nelson and Hamilton rejoice at their victory. Nelson promises Hamilton that there will be song and dance, and gets Motibai to court but she refuses to comply to his wishes, so Nelson whips her. Nelson orders that she bent sent to the dungeon. Later, Rose meets Motibai in prison and apologises. Motibai pleads with her to help Laxmibai. Laxmibai wakes up with a start and wonders where she is. Sunder informs Laxmibai that the British had surrounded Jhansi and she was brought here for security reasons. A furious Laxmibai demands to know who dared to bring her here. Sunder replies that it was Tatya Tope. Meanwhile, Nelson tries to lure Rose with the riches and luxuries of Jhansi and says that the royal bed was now theirs, so she slaps him.

Tatya Guru tells Laxmibai that giving up one's life for one's motherland was a matter of pride but intentionally walking into the jaws of death was not bravery. Laxmibai warns him she cannot save her life while her subjects were being inflicted to atrocities. Meanwhile, Nelson mentions his strategy to attack Laxmibai so that there is no escape this time. Tatya Guru and Laxmibai continue to fight, when Rose asks them to stop fighting amongst themselves and let her husband's motive succeed. She tells Laxmibai that someone from their group has informed Nelson about her whereabouts and that Nelson would be here with the British Army. The next morning, Nelson, Hamilton and Dunlop arrive with their respective armies to Laxmibai's hideout. Nelson gets furious with Rao Dulajo when he finds the premises empty. Meanwhile, Laxmibai personally takes Rose to her palace. Laxmibai then tells Tatya Guru that she will meet him later as she has some work to complete.

Rose visits Motibai to ask her how to convey the message about Nelson intensifying his search for Laxmibai, so Motibai replies that there is a Laxmibai loyalist who would do the needful. Laxmibai continues to seek help from the neighbouring kingdoms to strengthen her army but alas! If any of them had possessed even an ounce of the love that Laxmibai had for her motherland, then India's history would have been different! Fear of the British and greed for power made all the kings of the other princely states decline from offering help to Laxmibai. Nelson is delighted to hear that Laxmibai and her followers were still wandering and deprived of food and money. Just then, he receives a telegram from Lord Dalhousie saying that he has sent a battalion from Gwalior to take away Jhansi's treasury. Meanwhile, Damodar keeps asking for food, so Laxmibai plucks some fruits and feeds it to Damodar.

Nelson is shocked to see Rose praying to a Hindu goddess but she reminds him that even the statue of Jesus was right next to it. Hamilton tells Nelson that they need to break the morale of the subjects of Jhansi. Nelson says that Laxmibai will now come as Kranti Guru to tackle the British but he will be alert this time! In Jhansi, Kranti Guru is surprised to hear about a reward from the British on her head as well as for anyone providing information about her. She feels dejected hearing the traders voicing their disapproval against her for rebelling against the British and returns to her hideout. Rose ends up being a messiah for a hungry Damodar and the others when she brings food for them. Rose informs Laxmibai about the British battalion arriving to take Jhansi's treasury away.

A wicked Nelson decides to share his joy of having Laxmibai sealed in a barrel by parading her before the people of Jhansi to see. Meanwhile, Karma who is accompanying Dunlop to Gwalior with Jhansi's treasury, asks his soldiers to take a tea break. He then writes a letter to Mangal Pandey saying that Jhansi's treasury was being taken to Gwalior and that it must be returned to Queen Laxmibai. Karma also states that he regrets to have raised his hands on his dear queen and vows to protect his sister. However, the letter falls into the hands of Dunlop! Raghunath and Tatya Tope decide to implement their next plan of action. On the other hand, Nelson tells the subjects of Jhansi that the Queen of Jhansi was inside the barrel. When they refuse to believe him, he opens the barrel as proof.

Rose frees Laxmi Bai with an axe. Both cannot exit Jhansi's palace due to the tight security for a Valentine's Day party. An anglicised Tatya Tope and Raghunath slyly enter the party. Seeing her non-existent portrait's frame, Laxmi Bai remembers her time with Gangadhar. She plans to determine where Captain Bheem is with Jhansi's treasury. Tatya Tope and Raghunath narrowly evade Nelson. An anglicised Laxmi Bai hears Nelson gloat about Britain's win over Jhansi and Laxmi Bai's capture.

Rose presents Laxmi Bai to Nelson as her friend. Killing Nelson's aide, Tatya Tope and Raghunath don't find Laxmi Bai in the drum. Laxmi Bai reunites with the two. Captain Bheem seeks to visit Rampur to meet Mangal Pandey and orders a detour to Gwalior. He and his Indian moles kill the suspicious British officers. Due to a nearly dead Dunlop's scribbling on mud, Nelson assumes that Jhansi's treasury is in Rampur. Laxmi Bai's plot hoodwinks Nelson into thinking that she has it somewhere else.

Tatya Tope and Raghunath send Nelson on a wild goose chase. Laxmi Bai, who is disguised as Rana Bankura, and Karma, under the alias of a moneylender, fight for the treasury. An unveiled Laxmi Bai points out Rana Bankura's sacrifices for her land's freedom. When Karma sheds his disguise, she accuses Captain Bheem of treachery. He reveals how he became Captain Bheem to use Jhansi's treasury to fund India's freedom struggle and talks of British sepoy Mangal Pandey's secret patriotic leadership.

At Rampur's police base, Nelson kills an Indian patriot, accuses Karma of fooling the Britons and shoots him. Before he can unveil Rana Bankura, Mangal Pandey and his fellow sepoys kill British troops. Rana Bankura wounds Nelson's eye and unveils herself. Pandey realises she is Jhansi's queen, saves her from being shot by Nelson and reveals to her he is a British sepoy in Barrackpore. The two laud each other's valour. Nelson slits one of his Indian captors and uses the other as a shield to flee.

A one-eyed Nelson dodges Laxmi Bai. Lord Dalhousie visits Gwalior's British commissary to see Jhansi's treasury. Laxmi Bai informs Tatya Tope and her aides that Mangal Pandey had saved her life and Jhansi's treasury. She confers the treasury to Pandey to use it to free India. Nelson decides to use Rose slyly to reach Laxmi Bai and the treasury. Nelson telegraphs Lord Dalhousie that the British don't have Jhansi's treasury. Pandey plots Lord Dalhousie's killing to destabilise the British empire.

Rana Bankura loots Indian traders selling opium to the British. A British officer informs Lord Dalhousie about Laxmi Bai's key military aides, including Mangal Pandey. Pandey leaves for Barrackpore after being told that the British are killing revolutionary Indian troops there. Laxmi Bai plans to use Jhansi's forces to ambush Lord Dalhousie in Kumaanganj. Rao Dulhajo informs Nelson that Laxmi Bai is aware of Lord Dalhousie's impending arrival in Jhansi. Eunuchs block Nelson in pursuit of Rose.

Bithur's forces arrive and inform Laxmi Bai that the British seek to control Bithur. Laxmi Bai emotionally orders Tatya Tope to go there to protect Bithur. Chimna Bai angrily says that Laxmi Bai will struggle to defeat the British without her key aides. Laxmi Bai orders Raghunath to arrange a few actors and seeks an English cigar from Karma. In Kumaanganj, Indian opium traders are rewarded by Lord Dalhousie. Karma, disguised as an opium trader, slyly makes him smoke an opium cigar, dazing him.

Laxmi Bai and her aides take over Kumaanganj's British base after a bloody fight and hold Lord Dalhousie hostage. Rana Bankura telegraphs key British centres in India and demands Jhansi's handover to Laxmi Bai and the opium trade's stoppage. Humiliated British authorities agree to hand over Jhansi to Laxmi Bai. Nelson informs Lord Canning, the new Governor General, that he has a plan to kill Lord Dalhousie. Rao Dulhajo reveals to Laxmi Bai that Lord Dalhousie had masterminded Gangadhar's murder.

Seeing Rann Bankura, Nelson is certain that it is indeed Laxmibai. Nelson tells her that she will get Jhansi back but they would want Lord Dalhousie alive! Lord Dalhousie comes out of the cart, and Nelson is stunned to see him alive. Ellis tells Nelson that it was time for him to leave. Rose too bids goodbye to Laxmibai.Tatya Tope and Mangal Pandey are delighted to hear that Laxmibai has got back her Jhansi. Moropant is very proud of his daughter, so Chimnabai taunts that Laxmibai got Jhansi back only because a lot of blood was shed! Meanwhile, Laxmibai enters her palace. She exhorts her subjects to drive out every Englishman from India. Meanwhile, Lord Dalhousie is asked to leave India because of the shame he brought to the East India Company. Moropant is asked to crown Laxmibai on her victory and says that he is very proud of her. He then presents her with weapons. Laxmibai vows to protect Jhansi at all cost. On the other hand, Nelson vows to get back at Laxmibai.

Nelson informs Hamilton that he plans to create religious schisms in Jhansi. At Ghaus Khan's request, Laxmi Bai allows a Shia Muslim religious procession on Jhansi's soil. In her dear royal chamber ransacked by the British, Laxmi Bai finds a sketch of hers with Gangadhar. Nelson sees Rose with Laxmi Bai's sketch and puts her under house arrest. In the palace, Laxmi Bai remembers her fond time with Gangadhar and British betrayal of Jhansi. She tearfully burns Gangadhar's attire worn by Nelson.

Ghaus Khan thanks Laxmi Bai for finding an appropriate spot for 'taziya'. Raghunath proclaims that Hindus and Muslims will always live together in peace. Rose overhears Nelson and Rao Dulhajo plotting against Laxmi Bai. Disguised as a pundit, Dulhajo trips over the idol of Goddess Saraswati that he had placed. The people celebrating 'Basant' festival take it as a good omen and rush to claim the land, creating a tiff between them and the Muslims. Rose informs Laxmi Bai about Nelson's conspiracy.

On Rose's warning, Laxmi Bai rushes towards the land where the riot breaks out between the Hindus and the Muslims. She finds two women, one Hindu and the other a Muslim in labour. She asks the fathers of the babies to recognise which one of them belongs to which religion. She spills Karma and Ghaus Khan's blood and puts acroos the same question. When everyone fails to answer, Laxmi Bai urges them to unite against their real enemy, the British. She announces that the land belongs to all of them.

Laxmi Bai warns Nelson that the British empire will fall. Inspired by Laxmi Bai, the Indians in every state start challenging the British. At Lord Canning's orders, the British loot the trade provisions going out of Jhansi and look for Laxmi Bai's allies. Nana Saheb accepts the pension which Hillersdon, the Collector of Kanpur, offers him to leave Bithoor. Under the disguise of Rana Bankura, Laxmi Bai surrounds Nelson and is surprised to see another Rana Bankura present.

Laxmi Bai asks everyone to keep Rana's arrest a secret and let them continue to believe that Laxmi Bai is arrested. Rana writes a letter to Laxmi Bai asking her to stop worrying about her. When Rana's husband comes looking for her, Laxmi Bai realises that Rana is Jhalkari Bai. Laxmi Bai promises to save Jhalkari Bai.

The people of Jhansi try to stop Nelson and his men from taking Jhalkari away, and Laxmi Bai gets ready to leave for Kanpur. Nelson puts a sword against Jhalkari's neck but is interrupted by a messenger who informs him that Lord Canning will execute Jhalkari the next morning. A drunk Nelson finds a letter by Laxmi Bai saying that he will release her. Aided by her comrades, Laxmi Bai appears before Nelson who is shocked to see her free and runs to check. Laxmi Bai hits him and rescues Jhalkari.

Nelson's superior warns him that he will have to exit India ignominiously if he doesn't nab Laxmi Bai. Laxmi Bai tells Jhansi's cheery locals that the Britons had never held her hostage. Nelson finds a 'mangalsutra' and suspects that it could belong to Laxmi Bai's lookalike. Laxmi Bai tells Rose what a 'mangalsutra' means.

Jhalkari Bai tells Laxmi Bai about her missing 'mangalsutra'. Rao Dulhajo informs Nelson about a secret way to Jhansi. A goldsmith tells a disguised Nelson that the 'mangalsutra' is Jhalkari's. Nelson's bundle with Jhalkari's 'mangalsutra' in it, falls down. Laxmi Bai gives it to him. She tells Tatya Tope to scan Jhansi to track Nelson. A drunk Pooran tells Nelson's Indian traitor about Jhalkari and Laxmi Bai's friendly bond and agrees to take them to the palace for Jhalkari's 'gauna'.

Laxmi Bai urges Tatya Tope to watch out for Nelson's presence. A disguised Nelson joins Pooran's entourage to attend his wife Jhalkari Bai's marital 'gauna' and sneaks into Jhansi's royal palace to see Jhalkari Bai. After Laxmi Bai sees him, Hariya takes him away. Laxmi Bai applies 'tilak' on the entourage's members, including Nelson. Karma soon confirms her evidential suspicion that he is indeed Nelson. A blackened Jhalkari is presented to the guests as part of a ritual, which fools Nelson.

Modh's prince Kunwar Yuvraj, a law graduate from England, is welcomed by his mother in Modh. The anglicised Yuvraj hears his pro-British father assuring the British governor that they would help the Britons nab the pro-people rebel Rana Bankura. Laxmi Bai rules in favour of a widow's remarriage. Tatya Tope informs Laxmi Bai that many anti-British states are in touch with Jhansi. As his mother says that she has found a bride for him, Kunwar reminisces lovingly his encounter with Manu as a child.

Laxmi Bai tells Moropant that Jhansi's welfare is supreme for her and not remarriage. King Shivraj tells his wife that Yuvraj wishes to stay abroad as a barrister. Yuvraj informs Lord Canning that he is aiding rebel Mangal Pandey's prosecution. Yuvraj tells Nelson about anti-slavery British laws. Nelson uses a naive Rose to tell Laxmi Bai that a barrister plans to present proof against Pandey. Nelson plans to trap Laxmi Bai while she, as Ran Bankura, and Karma try to seize the proof.

At the market place, Raghunath and Rao Dulajo bump into each other. Raghunath does recognise the voice but by then, Rao Dulajo has left. Meanwhile, Raghunath informs Laxmibai that the enraged subjects of Jhansi want even the missionaries sent out of their kingdom because they believe that the missionaries had supported the East India Company in kidnapping Damodar. At the commissionerate, Ghaus Khan is unable to continue the fury of the mob at the commissionerate. Raghunath requests Moropant to pacify the subjects of Jhansi. Bakshish Ali and Ghaus Khan get into a war of words with the former inciting the crowd to attack the missionaries because they were responsible for the prince losing his voice but Raghunath stops them and asks them to heed their queen. Kali and her Women's Army arrive to help Laxmibai fight Hugh Rose and his men! A bitter fight ensues. Karma informs that there is a huge British contingent waiting outside Jhansi. Laxmibai's confidantes advise Laxmibai to get inside the Fort of Jhansi and attack the British. Seeing that the British were numerically stronger than them, Laxmibai agrees to go to the fort. All the citizens of Jhansi are brought inside the palace. Meanwhile, just as they enter the palace, Laxmibai sees Damodar waiting outside. Hugh Rose begins firing around Damodar. Laxmibai goes to save him. Karma and Raghunath too arrive just in and rescue Laxmibai and Damodar. Meanwhile, the East India Company hoists their flag in Jhansi.

In the palace, Kashi succumbs to her injuries but before breathing her last, she apologises to Laxmibai for failing to protect the Orchha exit. Laxmibai vows to Rao Dulajo that she will seek vengeance from him for Kashi's death. Just then, Ghaus Khan fires at the British camp but Hugh Rose manages to remain unscathed. Laxmibai tries to fire the cannon but it does not work! Raghunath informs Laxmibai that all the cannons were rendered useless! Laxmibai asks Ghaus Khan to repair them. Meanwhile, Rao Dulajo suggests to Hugh Rose to hide in a mausoleum with his men. The British continue to fire at Laxmibai's men from there but Laxmibai's soldiers watch helplessly.

Laxmibai vows not to let Ghaus Khan's sacrifice go a waste. Laxmibai orders that his last rites be observed as per the Islamic customs. Meanwhile, Rao Dulajo tells Hugh Rose that Laxmibai has no cannons nor does anybody know how to make explosives. However, Hugh Rose is worried because he has no cannons and his army is depleting. Rao Dulajo tells him of a plan. At the palace, there is nobody to offer the last prayers to Ghaus Khan, so Laxmibai asks Bakshish Ali, a once sworn enemy of Ghaus Khan, to do the needful. On the other hand, Rao Dulajo reaches with his men near the granary of the palace and burns it, while Karma and Kali fight Hugh Rose and his men. Laxmibai and the others finish with the formalities of burying Ghaus Khan. She then runs towards the granary and finds the food grains on fire. Just then, an explosion occurs and Laxmibai is injured. Seeing this, Hugh Rose orders a ceasefire.

With already enough troubles in her hand, Laxmibai is shocked to find even the water adulterated. Laxmibai feels helpless seeing her citizens, especially children, hungry. Inside the palace, Chimnabai taunts Moropant that her unborn baby has to remain hungry because of Laxmibai! Laxmibai arrives then and sees that her maid is about to feed Damodar. She narrates the story of Lord Krishna to Damodar who had only one morsel of rice when he had unexpectedly come to meet Draupadi, so Damodar too has only one grain of rice. Laxmibai gives the food to Chimnabai. Overwhelmed, Chimnabai refuses to have the food at the cost of Damodar remaining hungry. Karma and Laxmibai are relieved when they see that sacks of food grains have arrived. However, they get shocked seeing the mutilated body of a food trader! Laxmibai reads the letter sent by Hugh Rose saying that his men were hungrier, so they decided to keep the ration for themselves!

Hugh Rose is informed that Captain Clark's army had arrived, so they would have more arms and men! Laxmibai and her confidantes are worried. Help arrives in the form of Tatya Tope who arrives in Jhansi with his battalion. Laxmibai meets her wounded soldiers and tends to them. She then exhorts them to fight for their motherland. The soldiers promise to fight against the British till their last breath! Tatya Tope discusses his strategy against the British with his men. Thousands of miles away, Laxmibai was proving to be a major concern for Queen Victoria, so she decides to send her bravest but crazy officer, Lieutenant Gall. Chimnabai goes into labour and Laxmibai assures her that Jhansi would be freed by sunset, so Chimnabai asks her what would happen if Tatya Tope wouldn't arrive on time!

Laxmibai gallops alone towards the fort's exit gates and orders that it be opened. Laxmibai's confidantes ask the subjects to go out of the fort from the rear exit, while the British continue to shoot indiscriminately. In the process, Moropant gets shot in his leg. Rao Dulajo warns Laxmibai that she has been surrounded and asks her to surrender. Karma sends away everyone to safety and then locks the exit to fight the British alone! Meanwhile, Rao Dulajo comes to attack Laxmibai from behind and Damodar manages to regain his voice just in time to warn her. Laxmibai turns and beheads Rao Dulajo. Just then Hugh Rose goes to fire at her but Karma takes the bullet instead. Karma is shot, while Laxmibai kills many British soldiers. Laxmibai and Karma gallop away on their horses and reach the palace.
