1x1 - Episode 1

March 2, 2015

A day before the festival of Eid, Shams-ud-din Iltutmish, the ruler of the Delhi Sultanate, is addressing his subjects. Everyone, including the royal Turkish family, is in a festive mood. Iltutmish has replaced gold coins with silver coins. Shamshad Begum, Iltutmish's mother-in-law, is worried about her dead husband's fame. The Sultan's daughters, Razia and Shazia, are busy preparing special tokens of gift for him. Shamshad Begum is angry with Razia's ignoble behaviour.

Razia gets the third gift for the Sultan from Nizamuddin, a benevolent man who once saved the Sultan from the clutches of a cruel master. The Sultan is delighted to see Razia's gifts. Meanwhile, a messenger of death arrives with news. Fatima, one of Nizamuddin's slaves, is to be buried alive along with her dead master. She appeals to the Sultan and Razia for help. Only Razia, who is privy to more information about this situation, can help her.

In her quest to save Fatima, Razia tries to convince her father to release Fatima. The Sultan explains to her that he cannot bend the law for his daughter. Shamshad Begum punishes Razia for the same and isolates her from the Eid celebrations. Razia is worried about Fatima and is unable to decide between the path of virtue or the path of duty. Razia comes up with a plan to save Fatima.

Razia does the forbidden when she announces that she has witnessed the moon on the eve of Eid. Her bold action brings her in the crosshairs of the imams (religious heads of the Delhi Sultanate) and the commoners. Razia defends her actions by highlighting the discrimination made between men and women. The imams ask the Sultan to apologise to his subjects for his daughter's actions. Shamshad Begum and Qutub Begum, Razia's mother, are anxious.

Iltutmish decides to put his fate in the hands of the people of his kingdom. He asks the people to discard rituals which discriminate between men and women. The people support their Sultan. Razia goes to meet Fatima in prison. Shamshad Begum is unhappy with the Sultan's declaration. Razia helps with the Eid celebrations, while Qutub Begum waits for the Sultan. Razia is glad to see her mother happy. Meanwhile, a stranger makes her way towards the kingdom.

The royal family is enjoying a dance performance on Eid. Qutub Begum is looking forward to sweeping her husband off his feet. She has written a ghazal for her husband. Razia and Shazia plead with their mother to read it out. Before Qutub can complete her ghazal, an unknown voice stops her. Shah Turkan, the Sultan's mistress from Lahore, arrives and disrupts the celebrations. Qutub is shocked at Shah Turkan's audacity to come to her door. Meanwhile, Razia sneaks out of the palace.

Razia sneaks out of the palace to meet Nizamuddin's son. She encounters an arrogant young man harming a kid on her way. She decides to teach the man a lesson, unaware of what her actions might lead to. After reaching home, Razia consoles her mother, who is upset because of the arrival of Shah Turkan. Shamshad Begum alerts the palace household of the mistress's evil intentions. Turkan talks to the Sultan about her son.

Turkan gifts chopped fingers to her son, Rukn-ud-din Firuz. Aadila announces the arrival of Qutub's son, Nasiruddin Mahmud, who is returning after his training. The Sultan presents his daughters with gifts and Razia is delighted. Her happiness fades when she learns of the identity of the arrogant young man she had met. He is her stepbrother, Rukn-ud-din Firuz, son of Iltutmish and Shah Turkan. Qutub Begum slaps Shah Turkan when she learns about the Sultan's plan to spend Eid with Turkan.

Nizamuddin's son is releasing Fatima in exchange of Razia's silver coin, which she won from the Sultan. Qutub Begum after being challenged by Shah Turkan, approaches Razia with a request concerning the silver coin. Razia must decide between Fatima and her mother. Meanwhile, Shah Turkan and Rukn-ud-din prepare for celebrations with the Sultan. Razia receives a letter from Nasiruddin Mahmud, her elder brother. Razia's great-grandmother helps her find a solution to a problem she created.

The Sultan is going to celebrate Eid with Shah Turkan. Qutub Begum blames Razia for this misfortune. To save the day, Razia decides to send Fatima with a message to her brother, Nasir. He is on his way home after spending time at Ghazni with his mentor, Taj al-Din Yildiz, the Sultan of Ghazni and a friend of Iltutmish. Turkan is anxious to ask the Sultan to appoint her son as the Subedar of Delhi. Rana Martand, the commander-in-chief, interrupts the Sultan and Turkan's celebration.

Razia is happy about celebrating Eid with her father. She goes to meet her brother and requests him to not reveal the fact that she invited Taj al-Din Yildiz. Shah Turkan and Rukn-ud-din are left wondering why the Sultan isn't celebrating with them. With the arrival of Nasir and Taj al-Din Yildiz, the Sultan and the royal family start the Eid celebrations. On the other hand, anger is building up in Rukn-ud-din's mind. What has the mother-son duo planned next?

The king is impressed with Qutub's preparations for his friend, Taj al-Din Yildiz. Impressed, the Sultan urges Qutub Begum to ask for a gift. It gets awkward when Shah Turkan and Rukn-ud-din try to convert their defeat to a victory by crashing the royal Eid celebrations. Shah Turkan presents the Sultan with a gift and a dance. Razia presents the Sultan the tokens she had collected earlier. Shah Turkan endangers the Sultan's life and her own to win him over.

Shah Turkan reveals the ulterior motive behind saving the Sultan. Qutub Begum and Shah Turkan fight. The Sultan announces an open fight for the position of Subedar of Delhi. This adds more fuel to the clash between Nasir and Rukn-ud-din. Turkan sends a messenger to Razia. Taj al-Din Yildiz praises Razia when he is leaving. Razia shares her thoughts about her ideal husband with her siblings. Meanwhile, a stranger saves a woman lost in a caravan of camels.

Turkan extends a hand of friendship towards Razia. Razia is cautious of Turkan's manipulative schemes. Someone tries attacking Nasir and Razia plans to visit Khwaja's Dargah to pray for his safety. Meanwhile, Turkan and Qutub prepare their sons for the fight. The Sultan plans a different challenge for both his sons. Shah Turkan damages Nasir's horse. Mirza, a wanderer, hears about the royal announcement of an open fight and decides to try his luck. He too plans to go to the dargah.

The competition for the position of Subedar of Delhi is about to commence. Both Nasir and Rukn-ud-din have selected their swords. The Sultan has a hidden message for them in their swords. Meanwhile, Razia's excursion to the dargah is going well, until she crosses paths with Mirza, who is on his way to Delhi for the competition. Razia has an ittar dupatta that Mirza wants desperately. He attacks her to get his hands on it.

The Sultan sets the stage for the competition. Contestants hailing from different provinces must fight against savages and procure the Sultan's sword. Shah Turkan is worried about her son. Nasir leads the other contestants in the competition and fights bravely. He saves Rukn-ud-din from the savages, but Rukn-ud-din shows his true colours by going alone after the sword. Both Nasir and Rukn-ud-din catch hold of the sword at the same time. Meanwhile, Mirza observes the competition.

Both Nasir and Rukn-ud-din get hold of the sword at the same time. The Sultan now must declare one of them as the winner. A combat between both the contestants is declared. Shah Turkan and Rukn-ud-din are not playing by the rules. Nasir fights valiantly but is defeated because Shah Turkan sabotages his horse. Rukn-ud-din is on the verge of killing Nasir and is declared winner. Mirza, pretending to be the prince of Shahgarh, challenges Rukn-ud-din. Iltutmish allows the fight to continue.

A fight ensues between Mirza and Rukn-ud-din. Mirza is not deceived by Rukn-ud-din's tricks. Meanwhile, Razia, who is consoling her injured brother, is happy to see Mirza winning over Rukn-ud-din. Shamshad Begum is suspicious of foul play by Shah Turkan and Rukn-ud-din. Mirza disappears after the fight. It is revealed that Mirza is a slave. Meanwhile, his master is angry due to his absence.

Razia is happy with Rukn-ud-din’s defeat. But, the tables turn when Iltutmish learns that the real prince of Shahgarh is out on a trip. Shah Turkan wants Iltutmish to declare Rukn-ud-din the Subedar of Delhi. Shamshad Begum is afraid of the worst. Razia tries to save the day by convincing her father to wait for the mysterious winner. She has a hidden agenda behind this request. She wants a day to prove foul play. Meanwhile, Mirza kills his master, who killed one of Mirza's friend.

Shah Turkan is worried about Mirza ruining her son's chance to be the Subedar of Delhi. Meanwhile, Razia takes the matter into her hands and sets on to find clues to prove sabotage. Shah Turkan advices Rukn-ud-din to destroy any clue they left behind. Mirza is wanted for his master’s death and hides in the palace stables. Mirza and Razia bump into each other. Razia loses the clue she found. Razia confronts Rukn-ud-din, who threatens to kill her. Mirza saves her from Rukn-ud-din.

Razia threatens Rukn-ud-din, resulting in a fight. Nasir saves Razia. Rukn-ud-din provokes Nasir and they continue the fight. Iltutmish saves Rukn-ud-din from a furious Nasir. Shah Turkan and Rukn-ud-din manipulate Iltutmish to believe their innocence. They blame Razia and Nasir for scheming to win the title. The Sultan is misled with lies and deceit and declares the Subedar of Delhi. Mirza leaves the palace.

The royal family is not happy that Rukn-ud-din is now the Subedar of Delhi. Shamshad Begum advises Nasir and all the members of the family to show their lack of support by going to Multan. Shah Turkan warns Iltutmish about a mutiny. Razia does not agree with Shamshad Begum and asks Nasir to talk to their father. Rukn-ud-din pretends to be Iltutmish and deceives Nasir. Disappointed with his talk to Iltutmish, Nasir decides to leave for Multan.

Mirza loses the ittar dupatta. He, along with his friend, returns to the palace to get it back. Meanwhile, Rukn-ud-din discusses his intention to kill Iltutmish with Shah Turkan. The two prepare for the appointment ceremony. Nasir, along with the women of the royal family, goes to Multan. There, he is greeted by Qutub’s sister Uzma Begum and her husband Nasir ad-Din Qabacha. Razia stays back to mend relations with her father.

Iltutmish is surprised with the decision of the royal family. Razia tries to convince her father to call Nasir back home. Meanwhile, Rukn-ud-din is enjoying a bath, when he is interrupted by his mother. They plot to eliminate Nasir. There is tension between Qutub Begum and Uzma Begum. Mirza and his friend are sharing a meal, when soldiers arrive looking for them. He escapes and plans to go to Ghazni.

Shah Turkan warns Razia about her journey to Multan. Razia answers with a sharp reply, which shuts Shah Turkan up. Sultan is worried about Razia's safety. He shares his concern with Razia and Rana Martand, the Sultan's commander-in-chief. Shah Turkan and Rukn-ud-din hatch a plan to become the Sultan and Valide Sultan (mother of the Sultan). Razia, along with the royal convoy, starts her journey to Multan. She meets Mirza on her journey.

Mirza travels along with the royal convoy without anyone noticing. Nasir reminisces his moments with Iltutmish and looks forward to Razia's arrival. Meanwhile, Shah Turkan plants doubts for Nasir in Iltutmish's mind. Sultan Qabacha gets a whiff about Shah Turkan’s evil plot. He prepares his soldiers for the fight. Razia’s convoy messenger reaches Multan and attacks the royal family. Nasir and Qabacha fight Rana Martand and his soldiers. Razia is shocked witnessing the fight.

The bloodshed in Multan shakes the royal family to their core. Razia and her mother Qutub Begum are not ready to believe the accusations against Iltutmish. Both father and son prepare for the war that's due to occur in a month's time.

The nomad warns Razia and Chanda about 'Maut ki Ghati', a slave market. Uzma Begum is worried about Razia. Her husband lies about sending troops after Razia. Qutub Begum sends a letter to the Sultan, which falls into the hands of Shah Turkan. She manipulates the letter. While trying to catch the horses, Razia comes across a few slaves. She saves them but is captured herself.

Shah Turkan misleads the Sultan by manipulating Qutub Begum's letter. Razia is mistreated by her captors. Shah Turkan anticipates Razia's plan to go to Ghazni. She hires an assassin, Zangoora, to kill Razia. Rukn-ud-din questions Zangoora's credibility, but is spellbound by the assassin's skills. Razia, meanwhile, is not worried about her life. She feels happy to have saved the girl slaves. Mirza helps the slaves as well, saving them from a guard looking for them. Razia reaches 'Maut ki Ghati'.

Razia is shocked to see the slave market. Maroosh, the head of 'Maut ki Ghati', beheads a girl in front of Razia. Razia is sold by her captor. Maroosh withholds Razia for disobeying him and throws her into a prison. Meanwhile, Mirza drops the girls safely back home. An innocent girl asks Mirza to save Razia. He tosses a coin to decide. Shah Turkan writes a letter to Qutub Begum in Razia's handwriting, announcing Shah Turkan's marriage to the Sultan.

Qutub Begum dreams that Razia's life is in danger. Shamshad Begum tells her to have faith. Uzma Begum gives Razia's letter to Qutub Begum. Qutub Begum learns about Shah Turkan and the Sultan's marriage. Fatima writes to Razia about this. Meanwhile, Razia meets the nomad she met earlier and asks for help. She inspires all the captives to fight alongside her and they come up with a plan. Mirza decides to save Razia and disguises himself.

Razia and the captive girls have hatched a plan for their freedom. Meanwhile, Mirza approaches Maroosh under the disguise of a merchant named Bhaktavar. Maroosh becomes suspicious of Mirza and asks for a proof of his identity. Mirza talks Maroosh into giving up Razia and the other captives for a huge amount. But soon, his disguise is revealed, and a fight ensues. Mirza gets heavily wounded in the fight. The lives of Razia and the girls are in danger.

Mirza gets a severe beating from Maroosh's men. Razia and the girls execute their escape plan. The girls run out of time and Maroosh captures Razia. Chanda begs him to spare Razia. Mirza swoops in to save Razia in time. The fight continues between Mirza and Maroosh. Razia, meanwhile, saves the girls from being burnt alive. The girls get their revenge with Maroosh. Somewhere, the nomad Razia met earlier prophesies that she will be a Sultan.

Razia is grateful to Mirza for saving her life. Mirza taunts Razia, asking her to stop fighting for others or learn how to fight. Razia is taken aback by his thinking. Meanwhile, Qutub plans to invite Iltutmish to Multan during Urs, an Islamic festival. Nasir announces that he cannot let his mother meet an enemy. Qutub slaps him for saying this. Zangoora reaches 'Maut ki Ghati' to learn that Razia defeated Maroosh. Razia once again crosses paths with Mirza.

Mirza is ignorant of the fact that Razia is the same girl who he met at the dargah. Razia receives Fatima's message and learns about Shah Turkan's schemes. In Multan, Fatima encourages Nasir with her words. On the other hand, Chanda catches Zangoora asking about Razia's whereabouts by showing her picture to people. She informs Razia about him. Razia and Mirza go their separate ways. Zangoora follows Chanda, who is unaware of his presence. Chanda is attacked.

Chanda falls unconscious from the attack. Following the blood trail, Zangoora catches up with her and Razia. They run away from the assassin. Meanwhile, Iltutmish receives Qutub's invitation from Multan. Shah Turkan is furious at the messenger. Chanda praises Razia and tells her that she possesses all the skills expected of a Sultan. Later, they come across an old broken bridge. Razia is halfway, when she hears Chanda scream. Zangoora captures Chanda.

Razia is heartbroken after Chanda's death. She reminisces about her precious moments with Chanda and swears that she'll not let Chanda's sacrifice go in vain. Shah Turkan and Rukn-ud-din learn that Razia is still alive. Fearing the failure of their plan, Shah Turkan plans to stop the Sultan from meeting Qutub Begum. Mirza, Razia, and Zangoora find themselves at a village fair. Razia plans to ask Mirza for help. She has a narrow escape from Zangoora. She then changes her disguise.

Razia, Mirza and Zangoora join the same caravan of travellers. Shah Turkan injures her leg to stop the Sultan from meeting Qutub. This fails when he doesn't cancel his plans. Ignorant of Razia's identity, Mirza gets comfortable with her during the journey. Mirza catches Zangoora sifting through personal belongings. Zangoora informs him that he is looking for his master's daughter. Meanwhile, Fatima advises Nasir to let his mother meet the Sultan. Mirza stumbles on Razia taking a bath.

Mirza's attitude towards Razia changes after he learns about her identity. Meanwhile, Shah Turkan insists on joining the Sultan on his journey to meet Qutub Begum. At Multan, all the family members decide to visit the dargah for Urs. Nasir invites Fatima to join them. Mirza's changed behaviour makes Razia suspicious of him. She confronts him about this. She learns that Mirza learnt her identity while she was bathing. Razia shares the reason for being in disguise.

Razia doesn't share the complete truth with Mirza. She walks away from him when he slights her by telling her to go home. Mirza meets Zangoora and aks about the girl he is looking for. He is shocked looking at the painting. He makes a deal with Zangoora of 2000 gold coins in exchange of the girl. Meanwhile, Iltutmish reaches the dargah before the royal family. He is eager to meet Razia. Mirza informs the head of the caravan of the presence of a girl amongst them. Razia's identity is revealed.

Razia and Mirza are lost on their way to Ghazni. Shah Turkan is plotting her marriage to the Sultan. Rukn-ud-din prevents Nasir from meeting the Sultan. Qutub sends Fatima with a message to Razia. According to the deal, Mirza hands over Razia to Zangoora and leaves with his prize. Razia puts up a good fight with Zangoora, but he is untouched by the attacks. Razia suffers a blow to the head and she falls. She remembers her family and Mirza and puts in all her efforts in the last strike.

After Zangoora's death, Razia and Mirza go separate ways, because Razia doesn't trust Mirza. Mirza convinces Razia of his honesty. He promises to help Razia reach Ghazni. Razia asks him to teach her how to fight which he gladly accepts. Razia and Mirza start their training. Meanwhile, Turkan is not feeling well. Mirza teaches Razia to climb, aim and stay underwater in his own unique methods. Razia is a diligent and a fast learner. Mirza wants to instil fearlessness in Razia.

Mirza salutes Razia's determination to learn combat skills. Mirza's friends during his time with Haji Jamal want to win the silver coin for the best fighter by defeating him. Mirza promises Razia to explain his reason for surrendering her to Zangoora. He also returns the necklace she gave him. Later, when Mirza is fast asleep, Razia completes her final task and leaves for Ghazni. Razia meets Mirza's friends and points them to his location. She detects foul play.

Mirza is devastated that he could not tell Razia the reason he surrendered her to Zangoora before she left. Haji Jamal's disciples find and beat an armless Mirza. On seeing the returned necklace, Razia realises that Mirza did not hand her over to Zangoora for money. Meanwhile, the royal family doctor informs the Sultan of Shah Turkan's pregnancy. She announces her pregnancy to the royal family. Razia reaches to save Mirza, who is happy to see her.

Mirza reveals the real reason behind surrendering Razia to Zangoora. An injured Razia starts for Ghazni with Mirza. Mirza shares his love for a princess Razia, still not recognising her. Fatima lies to cover Razia's secret. Meanwhile, tension grows between Qutub Begum and the Sultan. Shah Turkan instigates a fight between Nasir and Iltutmish. Qutub slaps Shah Turkan, which makes Iltutmish angry. The father and son draw swords against each other.

Razia and Mirza find a place to halt for the night and end up in a stable. Mirza asks Razia the purpose of her journey to Ghazni. Razia doesn't want to lie to Mirza, so she pleads him not to ask that question. Meanwhile, the infuriated Sultan announces that he will marry Shah Turkan, to get back at Qutub and Nasir who are proud of their royal lineage. He also reinforces the pending war. In the stable, Razia blurt outs her identity in her sleep. Mirza cooks for Razia. They share a moment.

Razia can enter the palace. She expresses her gratitude to Mirza before leaving and asks him to wait for her. Razia informs Taj al-Din Yildiz about the grave situation at Delhi and requests him to accompany her to Delhi to solve this issue. He agrees and prepares for the journey. Shah Turkan, too, reaches Ghazni to persuade Sultan Yildiz to not help Razia. Turkan makes an offer to Sultan Yildiz. Mirza breaks into Razia's chambers.

Sultan Yildiz is attracted to Razia. He asks Razia for a favour in return for his help. Without knowing the real purpose, Razia promises to return the favour. Shah Turkan challenges Sultan Yildiz's judgement, to which he bluntly puts her down. Sultan Yildiz orders the construction of a Sheesh Mahal for his future wife. Razia and Mirza come face to face with each other's real identity. Mirza is offended by Razia for hiding her identity. Will he forgive her?

Mirza and Razia's conversation is cut short when the guards find him. He is to be thrown in prison, but Razia can stop it. Sultan Yildiz extends hospitality to Mirza, but he leaves. Razia runs after him to return the red dupatta. She tells him to keep it until the next time they meet. Shah Turkan informs a drunk Rukn-ud-din about Sultan Yildiz's arrival. Iltutmish preps Rukn-ud-din about the war next day. Meanwhile, Mirza's friend comforts him.

Fatima informs the royal women about Razia's actions. Shamshad Begum denies Razia her due credit. Shah Turkan is summoned by Sultan Yildiz.

Sultan Yildiz clarifies the misunderstandings between Nasir and Iltutmish. According to him, Nasir ad-Din Qabacha is the one created the misunderstandings. Qabacha escapes, while Nasir and Iltutmish reunite. Yildiz asks the Sultan to announce Nasir as Delhi's Subedar. He declares Nasir as Delhi's Subedar as he believes that Rukn-ud-din has more to learn about political matters. Razia misses Mirza. The red dupatta Razia gave Mirza kindles his purpose to go to Delhi.

Mirza rides towards Delhi. In the city, Nasir promises Razia to find out Turkan's role in the misunderstanding. Yildiz reveals that he saved Shah Turkan because he needs her help to marry Razia. Razia is asked to sneak into the palace from rear entrance by Shamshad Begum. Razia meets her family. She catches Nasir and Fatima exchanging glances. Razia's bold actions, which defied the rules of the royal household, infuriate Shamshad Begum. Yildiz takes Razia's credit for preventing the war.

Impressed, he wants to meet Mirza, who taught Razia to fight. On the other hand, Mirza sells his sword to get a necklace for Razia. Yildiz decides to ask Iltutmish for Razia's hand in marriage. Razia, along with Shazia, Fatima, and Shamshad Begum, goes for a stroll, where she catches a glimpse of Mirza.

Mirza decides to gift Razia the necklace. The royal family visits the dargah. Meanwhile, Turkan and Rukn-ud-din plan to kill all the members of the royal family. Razia shares her love for Mirza with Fatima. Razia and Fatima sneak out of the palace to meet Mirza, when they learn that an intruder has entered the palace. Shazia points out Razia's location to Mirza. Razia is about to meet Mirza, when Shamshad Begum orders her to come along with her to meet Sultan Yildiz.

Razia sends Fatima on her behalf to talk to Mirza. On the other hand, Yildiz asks for Razia's hand in marriage in front of everyone. Iltutmish is shocked. He asks for Razia's opinion, when Yildiz reminds her of the promise she made. Razia has no choice but to agree with Yildiz. All except Shamshad Begum are stunned by the news. Razia is devastated. She returns to her room. She meets Mirza there. Unaware of her situation, Mirza tries to win her over, but she insults him.

A troubled Mirza asks Razia the reason she gave him her dupatta and requested him to return to Delhi. Razia tries hurting Mirza by saying that she wanted to pay him back and throws coins at him. Mirza doesn't believe Razia. Razia calls the guards and has Mirza thrown out. She starts crying and feels bad that she mistreated Mirza. Fatima consoles her. Meanwhile, Shah Turkan, dressed in a burqa, hatches a deadly plot for the family.

Mirza wants answers from Razia for her changed behaviour. Razia holds on to the red dupatta and misses Mirza. Iltutmish feels that Razia is not happy about the marriage. A concerned Iltutmish agrees with Nasir's view on Razia's marriage and both decide to talk to Yildiz. Razia turns Sultan Yildiz away when he expresses his desire to meet her alone.

Razia is preparing for Nasir's coronation ceremony. She spots Mirza in the disguise of a guard. He warns to abduct her if she doesn't answer his questions. Shamshad Begum walks in on Razia scolding Mirza. Meanwhile, Shah Turkan performs a dance for her teacher, Kasabi Kalandar Lahori. She tells him to help her kill the entire royal family. Lahori performs his dance of death with the mud statutes of the royal family. Shah Turkan kills Razia's mud statue.

Qutub Begum asks Mirza, still under disguise, to tie a garland at the entrance. Lost Mirza walks in on Shazia bathing. She hides him in the water when Razia approaches. Razia, too, comes for a bath and meets Mirza. Iltutmish and Nasir talk to Yildiz. He agrees to cancel the marriage, requesting not to declare it until his return. Meanwhile, Lahori asks Shah Turkan to get his swords smuggled into the palace. Rukn-ud-din helps with this task.

Razia shouts as Mirza refuses to leave. He escapes to Nasir's room. Nasir catches him looking for a fresh pair of clothes. He identifies Mirza from his sword skills as Razia's saviour and is grateful to him. Nasir hands him a royal invitation for the coronation ceremony. On the other hand, Razia catches Rukn-ud-din smuggling the sword box into the ceremonial room. To her surprise, it is filled with clothes. The actual sword box is with Yildiz, who plans to kill Iltutmish and keep Razia alive.

Yildiz informs Iltutmish that he invited Lahori to perform at Nasir's coronation ceremony. Mirza meets Razia under disguise. Razia and Fatima share their feelings for Mirza and Nasir respectively with each other. Afraid that Yildiz might see Mirza, Razia hatches a plan to lure Mirza out of the palace, but he kidnaps her. Shah Turkan sends her men to kill Razia, but someone close to Razia dies instead. Rukn-ud-din sets a village on fire to lure out Sultan's guards.

Razia gains consciousness. Mirza demands the reason behind the changed behaviour. Meanwhile, Yildiz retires to his room pretending a headache. Iltutmish compliments Qutub Begum. Mirza asks her if she would have accepted him under a different situation.

Razia rides back for the palace on a horse, leaving Mirza. Heart-broken Mirza decides to leave Delhi. But he traces his steps back to the palace when a scared girl asks for his help. At the palace, Lahori commences his dance of death. Iltutmish and Nasir draw their swords to fight Lahori's men. Fatima and the ladies of the royal family run for their lives. Razia arrives on a horse to find blood everywhere. The royal family is shattered.

A shocked Shazia informs Razia about Pari Nani’s death. Razia runs to help her family but is devastated to see the situation. Iltutmish saves Yasir, Razia’s younger brother and Shamshad Begum, but gets injured in the process. Razia orders Fatima to bring help. Shazia runs to Yildiz for help. Lahori is about to deliver a fatal blow to Iltutmish, when Razia stops him. A fight ensues and Razia stabs Lahori. Fatima meets Mirza and narrates the incident to him. Mirza arrives to help Razia.

Mirza is appalled to see the bloodbath. Yildiz arrives and comforts Razia. He takes her away from the bodies and gets her cleaned. Mirza prevents Shazia from seeing the bloodbath. Shazia informs him that she cannot find Yasir and Shamshad Begum. Mirza follows a trail and finds both Yasir and Shamshad Begum. He befriends Yasir to get him out of hiding. Razia leaves Yildiz to meet her father. She reminisces about her father and brother without shedding tears. She adorns Nasir with his crown.

Razia sneaks to the burial ground after the crowd leaves. Mirza spots her and brings her some mud for the burial. With this act, she forgives him, but still asks him to leave. Mirza doesn’t want to leave, but he has no reason to stay any more. Mirza is leaving when Yasir stops him.

Yasir begs Razia to stop Mirza from leaving. Yildiz, Shamshad Begum, and Rukn-ud-din discuss the appointment of an acting Sultan. Yildiz favours Rukn-ud-din. Razia remembers seeing Rukn-ud-din holding a torch during the murder of her family. She wonders if he and Shah Turkan are behind it. She decides to prove it. Sultan Qabacha is declared the culprit. Razia tries contacting him, but Mirza stops her. Yasir hallucinates of blood on his hands.

Rukn-ud-din, Mirza, and Razia visit the prison. Razia asks Qabacha to tell her the truth. But he can't share anything as Rukn-ud-din cuts his tongue and fingers. Razia asks for Yildiz's help to reveal Rukn-ud-din's true colours. Razia's efforts are wasted asking the killer to reveal his employer's name. Mirza helps Razia by coaxing the killer to do the right thing before he dies. The plan fails when Shah Turkan has the killer killed publicly.

Rukn-ud-din kills Sultan Qabacha. Razia threatens Shah Turkan with a sword on her neck. She is about to kill Turkan when Shamshad Begum interrupts. Shamshad Begum advises Razia to be patient until Iltutmish gets better. She asks Razia to promise to not hold a sword in her hands. Razia agrees. Mirza is not happy with Razia's promise. He attacks her by surprise. Razia defends herself without taking a sword in her hand. Meanwhile, Rukn-ud-din abducts Fatima's sister from the market for his harem.

Razia is feeding Iltutmish when Fatima arrives with the news of her sister’s abduction. Razia wants to help her, but Shamshad Begum reminds her of the promise. Razia goes to Yildiz for help. She runs away when he demands some alone time with her. She gets an idea watching Mirza teach Yasir sword fighting. Shazia is afraid that someone is following her. Shah Turkan orders Shamshad Begum and Shazia to vacant Qutub Begum’s room. Meanwhile, Razia decides to save the innocent girls by wearing a mask.

Mirza decides to help the innocent girls but is caught in the act. Hiding her identity, Razia rides on a horse as a vigilante to save the day. Observing the fight, Mirza believes that the vigilante is Razia. Razia vows to save people and help them during Sultan Iltutmish’s illness. In the palace, Shah Turkan sends Shazia to the kitchen. Soldiers inform Rukn-ud-din and Shah Turkan about a messiah. Razia is leaving when the people address her with the title Sultan.

Mirza follows Razia. She cuts a tree branch to stop him. Mirza addresses Razia as Sultan to observe her reaction. At the palace, Shah Turkan mistreats Razia when Yildiz walks in. He insults Turkan and asks for Razia’s forgiveness instead. Turkan suggests that Razia should cook dinner for Yildiz’s guests. Rukn-ud-din declares that he will kill Sultan in two days. The people refuse to accept Rukn-ud-din as their Sultan. Shazia informs Razia about Turkan’s behaviour towards Shamshad Begum and her.

Mirza lends Razia a helping hand with cooking. He asks Razia whether she is 'Sultan'. Razia denies the fact. Fatima learns of Sultan’s real identity. Turkan catches Mirza holding Razia's hands. On the other hand, Rukn-ud-din and Shah Turkan decide to destroy the Qutub Minar to reduce the Qutub Shahi fame and induce terror in the people of Delhi.

He helps Razia make biryani, a rice dish, for Yildiz’s guests. Razia and Mirza share some intimate moments. On the other hand, Rukn-ud-din is having the Qutub Minar destroyed. People protest. Rukn-ud-din declares construction of Firozi Minar in place of the Qutub Minar.

Razia asks Mirza his fees for helping her cook. Annoyed with Mirza, Razia throws away the food in a dustbin. She later cries for hurting Mirza. Razia cooks the dishes all over again for the dinner. She misses Mirza. The food tastes awful and she hesitates to serve it to the guests. Mirza feels bad for Razia. He helps her by replacing Razia's food with the food from the dustbin. Shamshad Begum and Shazia are worried. Everyone is spellbound with the food served, especially Turkan.

Yildiz advises Shah Turkan to learn cooking from Razia. Shazia informs Shamshad Begum that Razia cooked the dinner perfectly. Meanwhile, the workers of the Qutub Minar are being harassed by Rukn-ud-din’s men. Razia looks for Mirza. She finds him eating her bad food. She throws it away, but Mirza declares that it is the best he's ever tasted. Razia soon learns of the Qutub Minar being destroyed by Rukn-ud-din. She becomes 'Sultan' again.

A woman motivates the workers at Qutub Minar to fight for the monument’s safety. Sultan comes to their help and fights Rukn-ud-din's men. Yasir is practising sword fight when Rukn-ud-din threatens him. Mirza arrives in time to save him. Rukn-ud-din and Mirza fight. Shazia, Fatima, and Shah Turkan watch the fight. Mirza surrenders on seeing Turkan. Shamshad Begum is grateful to Mirza. Mirza learns about Sultan’s appearance at the Qutub Minar. Turkan wants to know more about Mirza.

Mirza and Yasir are looking for Razia. Mirza wants proof of the fact that Razia is Sultan. Mirza tries finding Sultan’s costume in Razia's room. Razia and Mirza get entangled in bedsheets. Later, Mirza crosses paths with Yildiz. Yildiz seems to know Mirza from somewhere but is unable to recollect. Yildiz presents Razia with a wedding attire. He asks her to wear it the next day. Meanwhile, Shah Turkan and Rukn-ud-din hatch a plan to lure Sultan out.

Razia agrees to wear the wedding attire in spite of mourning. Rukn-ud-din captures the people who stood up against him. Mirza watches as Rukn-ud-din and Shah Turkan announce death to these people in exchange for Sultan’s identity. Fatima informs Razia of the situation and they hatch a plan to divert Yildiz and Mirza while saving the people too. Worried about Razia, Mirza decides to be Sultan to help these people, but the real Sultan saves the day. Fatima disguises as Razia to mislead Yildiz.

Mirza confronts Razia in her room. Razia denies being Sultan. Yildiz sees Mirza leaving Razia’s room. He doubts Mirza’s intentions. He remembers Mirza’s identity and feels betrayed by Razia. Yildiz orders Mirza to be captured dead or alive. Shamshad Begum sings praises for Sultan in front of Iltutmish.

Shah Turkan worries about Sultan. Rukn-ud-din plans to call experts to defeat Sultan. Mirza is teaching Yasir knife throwing when Yildiz’s guards capture him. Yasir goes to Razia and narrates the incident. On the other hand, Turkan provokes Yildiz to deliver the strictest punishment to Razia. Yildiz orders Mirza to be burnt alive in a kiln. Razia pleads with Yildiz to let go of Mirza. Yildiz agrees to not harm Mirza only on the condition that Razia marries him in the next ten days.

Mirza is shocked at Razia’s promise to marry Yildiz in ten days. Razia watches as they take Mirza away. Mirza waits for a signal from Razia to prove her love for him. She runs to see Mirza carried out of the palace. Mirza now vows to win over Delhi. He meets Shah Turkan. He makes a deal with Shah Turkan to hand her Sultan within ten days. Razia has only ten days as Sultan to overthrow Rukn-ud-din’s crown. She has a plan. Shamshad Begum informs Iltutmish about the wedding.

Yildiz is mad at Shah Turkan for keeping Mirza in the palace. Turkan reveals that Mirza is the same person who won the title of Delhi Subedar by defeating Rukn-ud-din. She has appointed Mirza to find Sultan. Turkan wants both Razia and Mirza dead. Fatima feels bad for Mirza. Sultan challenges Rukn-ud-din to an open fight. Rukn-ud-din hides at a safe location. Razia decides to attack him there. Yildiz calls upon her. She has a plan to keep him busy.

Razia is shocked to see Mirza in the palace. Mirza and Razia argue about Razia’s marriage with Yildiz. Later, Razia meets Yildiz and gifts him a necktie laced with itching powder. With Fatima’s help, Razia goes after Rukn-ud-din. Fatima has to throw a rope when she hears a whistle. Mirza accompanies Rukn-ud-din on his hunting trip. With help from some kids, Sultan attacks Rukn-ud-din. Mirza saves Rukn-ud-din. A fight ensues between Mirza and Sultan.

Mirza learns of Sultan’s real identity while fighting. He disarms Sultan as he doesn’t want to attack Razia. Mirza saves Sultan from Rukn-ud-din’s blow. Razia has a narrow escape from Rukn-ud-din and Mirza when her leg gets stuck in quicksand. Razia whistles Fatima to let her in. Shah Turkan, too, overhears. Razia escapes through a secret passage. Turkan catches Fatima folding a rope and asks Fatima for the truth. Razia hears Fatima beg for mercy.

Shah Turkan orders hot iron rods to be pierced in Fatima’s eyes. Razia stops Turkan and confesses that she had the rope flung. Razia wanted to run away and not marry Yildiz. Yildiz is furious hearing this. He punishes Razia to walk on hot coal. Mirza salutes Razia's love for her people. Yildiz threatens Razia to kill her entire family if commits such deeds again. Shamshad Begum advises Razia to marry Yildiz to improve the situation of Qutub Shahi family. Mirza tends to Razia.

Mirza gauzes Razia’s feet. Meanwhile, Yasir starts feeling dizzy after touching a ball. The ball is poisoned by Rukn-ud-din. Yasir goes to Razia. Shamshad Begum cries seeing Yasir sick. She blames Mirza for not looking after him. Hakims declare Yasir's condition to be a case of rare poisoning which needs an antidote within 12 hours. Shah Turkan and Rukn-ud-din have the antidote, but they want Mirza to kill Sultan in return. Rukn-ud-din challenges Sultan to a fight

Everyone in the royal family is worried about Yasir’s health. Razia is suspicious of Shah Turkan and Rukn-ud-din's role in Yasir's poisoning. But, Mirza assures her that they don't have the antidote. He mentions a doctor named Chandra Bhatt who could help Yasir. Royal hakims have never heard of him. Razia starts her journey to acquire the antidote. Mirza has a plan to uphold Sultan’s reputation. Razia comes across a creeper who engulfs humans at night.

Razia gives Yasir the offering she got from the jungle. Yasir’s health starts improving. Fatima announces that Mirza is fighting against Rukn-ud-din as Sultan. Shamshad Begum finds Razia’s clothes and deduces that Razia indeed is Sultan. Both Mirza and Razia fight to prove themselves as Sultan. Mirza sees Yasir recovered from the poison.

People start walking away from Razia as they are not ready to change their ancestral rituals and accept a woman as their Sultan. Razia tries justifying herself, but in vain. Rukn-ud-din and Shah Turkan mock Razia. Shamshad Begum is disappointed with her behaviour. She feels Razia's main intention was to amass position and power in Delhi. Turkan asks Yildiz if he wants to harm Razia.

Shamed by the public and Shamshad Begum, Razia requests Yildiz to marry her as soon as possible and take her to Ghazni. Yildiz’s guards arrest Mirza and hang him above a container of acid. Razia wants to inform Mirza about her marriage in person. Razia is getting henna applied on her palms. Shazia is not happy with the designs. Mirza applies henna on Razia’s hands. Shamshad Begum informs Iltutmish about Razia’s marriage. There is movement in Iltutmish’s hand.

Fatima gets sentimental about Razia’s love. She allows Mirza to adorn Razia before her wedding.

He returns the red Ittar dupatta. Mirza wipes Razia’s tears. Shamshad Begum and Shazia are stunned to see Razia dressed up. Mirza burns his hand to apply 'kajal' in Razia’s eyes. Razia goes to meet Iltutmish. She kisses her father’s hand and requests him to get well soon. Iltutmish holds Razia back.
