Long-distance bus driver Beni Gisler sees the man on the bridge, but there is nothing he can do. The body hits the windshield and is thrown away. Inspector Flückiger knows Gisler from his time in the military. Supported by the psychologist responsible for the care team, he takes Gisler under his wing.
