1x1 - Episode 1

June 23, 2008

The new voice over talent TONG TONG brings her colleagues to her stepfather CHAI SING’s teahouse for a drink after finishing work. A customer tries to order food from TONG loudly but TONG doesn’t realize it at all. TONG has lost all her hearing on her left ear and she has only got 30% of hearing on her right ear. This was caused by an accident long time ago when she tried to rescue SING. While shopping for a computer with her younger brother KA ON, TONG meets a strange man LEUNG KAI YIN. YIN’s father LEUNG KAM PO used to be the voice over king in the industry 10 years ago. During the time, PO deserted his family and YIN’s mother died miserably. YIN works full-time in his grandfather CHEUNG KAN’s noodle factory. During his spare time, he helps his aunt LEUNG LAI YUE in her sound recording studio. A client is looking for a new female voice for his new advertisement. Both TONG and the voice over queen YUEN SIU NA come to the audition……

YIN accidentally damages TONG’s audiphones and he wants to make compensation to her. TONG reveals that the audiphones cost over 10 thousand dollars. YIN is shocked and he murmurs that TONG is cheating. TONG realizes it by lip reading and she leaves angrily. TONG’s younger sister KA YEE works as a saleslady in a luxurious fashion store and she hopes to meet wealthy men there. YEE borrows an expensive mobile phone from her colleague when dating with a rich man. This rich man is a liar and he seizes away the mobile phone tactfully. YEE reports the case to the police and she asks TONG to keep the secret for her. The security guard at the supermarket suspects that TONG has stolen something. In order to help TONG, YIN reveals to everybody that TONG is deaf and TONG is deeply embarrassed. YIN FUN is the wife of KAN’s son CHEUNG TAK. FUN is dissatisfied that TAK always fools around with YIN and she tries to manipulate TAK……

YIN misconceives that this guy has played tricks on TONG so he risks his life to help her. In order to rescue TONG, YIN is beaten up by a group of gangsters. TONG sends him to the hospital and they reconcile with each other. MING and FUNG go for a drink at the pub together. FUNG teases MING for being forbearing to YUE all the time just because she used to be his lover. He persuades MING to start dating other women. KAN’s son CHEUNG TSUN returns to Hong Kong to visit the family. YIN knows that KAN wants his son to help manage his noodle company so he tries hard to convince TSUN to stay. MING reveals to everybody that pirated copies of a movie is found in the market before its public release date. He suspects that somebody has stolen the copies and TONG becomes the main suspect. YIN and TONG discover that their colleague CHUNG is beaten up by the gangsters and they realize that CHUNG is the one who sold the movie to the gangsters……

1x4 - Episode 4

TSUN becomes the general manager of the noodle factory and he wants YIN to assist him with the operation closely. After the meeting, FUN tries to please YIN deliberately but YIN is not moved at all. YIN’s father PO has been missing for more than a decade already and he returns to Hong Kong recently. PO tries to keep an eye on YIN and helps him with his works secretly. TONG invites YIN to be a voluntary voice over talent for a mime show. YUE discovers PO on the street but she fails to get hold of him. FUNG tries to approach NA and NA hurts her ankle while trying to hide away. YIN sends NA home and he plays with NA’s nephew LOK SAN happily. SAN is actually NA’s illegitimate child. The mime instructor blames YIN for not performing well on the father’s role and YIN leaves angrily. TONG consoles YIN and YIN decides to carry on for he is truly interested in voice over. YUE tries to look for PO again and she finally meets him.

June 27, 2008

YUE asks YIN to tidy up the storeroom for she wants YIN to recalls the happy memory with his father. YIN apologizes to all volunteers for leaving abruptly and everybody welcome him back cheerfully. YIN finds that TONG is interested in CHUNG Sir so he tries to create opportunities for them to meet alone. TSUN tries to manage the noodle company in a modern way and the staffs are dissatisfied for many benefits are cut. YAU tries to fight for the benefits with the staffs. TSUN reveals that they can resign if they are not satisfied and everybody gives up fighting. YAU drives TSUN’s car home and he meets YEE on his way. YEE misconceives that YAU is a rich man and she develops a good impression on him. After the successful mime show, CHUNG Sir invites TONG for movie and TONG is overjoyed. However, TONG discovers that CHUNG Sir is not really interested in her. YUE finds that PO is living a hard life and she invites him to live in her place.

1x6 - Episode 6

June 30, 2008

PO follows YUE to her home but they discover that YIN is inside. YUE therefore asks PO to hide away in the rooftop first. TSUN wants to promote their new product “QQ Cup Noodle” by organizing a “QQ Girl Contest”. TSUN asks YIN to be the judge during the first round contest. YAU goes to look for YIN and he meets YEE again. YEE and KIKI are both joining the contest. YEE misconceives that YAU is TSUN so she tries to please him in every way. SING asks TONG to take care of the teahouse when he is away. ON tries to shoot a video at the teahouse for his video shooting project. He scares away all the customers and SING is enraged. TONG learns that ON is not able to enter the video contest and she is upset. She knows that NA will be dining with the contest’s judge and she begs NA to bring her to the dinner as well. YIN bursts into the restaurant to rescue TONG and he misconceives that NA has cheated TONG……

TSUN discusses the performance of all contestants with everybody and they want to eliminate YEE for her poor performance during the contest but YIN convinces TSUN to keep her in the game. YEE is overjoyed to learn that she has become the finalist of the contest. She misconceives that YAU has helped her to enter the final contest so she treats him to a dinner. SAN asks NA to bring him out and they meet YIN on their way. SAN has asked YIN out deliberately for he wants YIN to apologize to NA. SAN hurts himself accidentally and YIN realizes that NA is his mother. YIN goes to YUE’s place to take some videotape. PO put a mask on his face and introduces himself as Uncle TSAT in front of YIN. YIN misconceives that he is YUE’s boyfriend. Later, YIN realizes that TSAT is his father from the lift’s CCTV. TONG realizes why YIN hates his father so much and she wants to arrange a meeting for them.

YUE invites PO to work in her recording studio and everybody is unhappy about the decision. They ask TSAU SHUI to express their dissatisfaction to YUE. PO starts working at the recording studio but he discovers that YIN is treating him like a stranger. In addition, YIN plays tricks on PO in front of everybody. YEE misconceives that she has finds a rich boyfriend eventually and she resigns from her job after arguing with her boss. During the contest date, YAU reveals to YEE that he is not the boss but YEE misconceives that he is only trying to put her on a trial. KIKI wins the contest eventually and YEE hides away sadly. During the family dinner, TSUN and FUN quarrel with each other again on their business direction and YIN is being caught in between of them. KAN and YIN meet PO and YUE while visiting the grave. KAN is enraged and he asks YIN to swear that he will never meet PO again in front of his mother’s grave……

YIN learns that TSUN wants to appoint YEE as the “Angel of Noodle” and he asks YAU to inform YEE about the good news. YEE is dissatisfied to learn that the basic salary for the job is only 3 thousand dollars. She leaves and meets TSUN in the lift and they are trapped together accidentally. TONG asks YIN to help training the kids with hearing disability. A fire accident occurs at the cooking class next to their room. TONG tries to rescue the new instructor IVY and she burnt her hand accidentally. PO discovers that TONG is working hard on improving her voice over skills and he tries to passes his skills to her. KIU accuses PO for stealing one thousand dollars and peering over her at the same time. PO fails to gain the support from everybody in the recording studio and he quits the job. TONG recommends PO to work in SING’s teahouse. YAU reveals to YIN that he suspects that TONG loves YIN and TONG overhears their conversation.

As the “Angel of Noodle”, YEE tries to sell “QQ Cup Noodle” to everybody in the shopping mall during a road show. Somebody tries to hug her by force for photo taking. YAU rushes in to protect YEE and he fights with the person in the shopping mall. The promotional event has turned into a mess. IVY invites TONG for tea and TONG discovers that she used to visit this restaurant very often when she was young. After the dinner with a group of wealthy men, the owner of a seafood store keeps dating NA and he eventually proposes marriage to her. NA doesn’t know what to do. NA meets YIN in the evening and YIN reminds NA to consider the feelings of her son. TONG discovers her photo inside IVY’s wallet and she is puzzled. YIN learns that TONG has an even more difficult childhood than him. IVY is actually TONG’s mother and they reunite.

After reuniting with IVY, TONG discovers that her half-blooded younger brother is suffering from serious liver disease and he needs to stay in the hospital all the time. SING finds that TONG returns home late all the time and he misconceives that TONG is dating with YIN. SING and YUE meet TONG and YIN at the restaurant. YIN doesn’t want SING to know that TONG is meeting IVY so he pretends that he is dating with TONG but SING finally realizes the truth. LOK SAN disappears. NA asks CHEONG to help find him but CHEONG rejects her by saying that he is busy at work. YIN assists NA to find SAN eventually. SING tries to kick IVY away and he hurts TONG accidentally. He finally agrees to allow TONG to meet up with IVY. IVY learns that her son’s condition is deteriorating and she asks TONG to go to America with her so that TONG could donate her liver to him……

TONG reveals to YIN that she has decided to donate her liver to her half-blooded brother and she wants YIN to help keep this secret from SING while she is away. Their colleagues overhear part of their conversation and they misconceive that YIN has made TONG pregnant. YIN explains the truth to everybody and they decide to help TONG. They tell SING that TONG is going to have a voice over job in Singapore and SING spends a lot of time preparing for TONG’s trip. TONG finds that SING trusts her wholeheartedly and she finally reveals the truth to him. Before TONG’s departure, IVY suddenly receives a call and learns that TONG’s liver is not suitable for her brother. Everybody decides to shoot a video to ask for liver donation and they upload this video to the Internet. TSUN discovers that the video is very popular and he decides to sponsor the TV broadcasting fees of the video anonymously. IVY finally finds a suitable liver donor for her son……

July 9, 2008

PO’s recording machine is broken and TONG brings YIN to the repair shop. They meet CHUNG Sir and his girlfriend on the way. YIN wants to help TONG so he pretends to be TONG’s boyfriend in front of CHUNG Sir. TONG scolds him for doing this and YIN sends her an antique music pendant to apologize. Everybody discover that TSUN is the anonymous donor and his case is widely reportedly. TSUN decides to shoot the new TV commercial in Japan to further promote his company’s products. YEE is the heroine of the advertisement but KIKI seizes away the role by playing tricks. CHEONG proposes marriage to NA and suggests putting SAN in a boarding school after they move to Canada. SAN plays tricks on CHEONG during NA’s birthday party and NA finally reveals her relationship with SAN to CHEONG. TSUN questions YIN for the reason of changing their flour supplier and YIN reveals that FUN is taking charge of the matter……

1x14 - Episode 14

YIN accidentally learns about TONG’s feelings on him and he seizes the chance to declare his love to her as well. The two of them kiss each other happily. KIKI shows her intimate photos with TSUN to YEE deliberately and YEE is very upset. YEE asks YAU to play tricks on KIKI and she secretly spreads KIKI’s intimate photos to everybody. TSUN is enraged to see the photos and he decides to use YEE in the TV commercial instead. The shooting is very successful and YEE gains the opportunity to spend time with TSUN. The supervisor Uncle CHEUNG has made a mistake that affects the business of the company. YAU tries to protect CHEUNG and he put the blame of TSUN after hearing rumors about TSUN and YEE. TSUN learns about this and he decides to fire both CHEUNG and YAU. YIN negotiates with TSUN and requests him to give up the idea of firing CHEUNG and YAU. He reveals to TSUN that he has discovered all his bad tricks behind his success……

1x15 - Episode 15

July 11, 2008

All the recording equipments are damaged by water after the fire accident. FUNG reveals to MING that he has decided to set up a production studio on his own. All the voice talents decide to follow FUNG. Only TONG and YIN are staying behind. NA asks YIN out and she tells him that she will leave the studio. She also reveals her love to YIN and YIN doesn’t know what to do. KIKI tries to look for TSUN all the time for she wants to reunite with him. TSUN is upset and he decides to terminate the company’s contract with her. MING and YUE quarrel with each other all the time on the re-setup plan of their studio. YIN and PO help YUE to realize that MING still loves her whole-heartedly. NA introduces Producer CHUI to MING so that the studio gets new business. TSUN invites YEE for a party. YEE misconceives that TSUN loves her but she later realizes that she is just a tool of TSUN. YEE is heart-broken and she goes to the rooftop miserably…

1x16 - Episode 16

July 14, 2008

TONG hurts herself while trying to rescue YEE. The doctor discovers blood stasis in her brain and she has lost her hearing completely. YIN suggests to TONG that an ear operation would enable her to regain her hearing and TONG is relieved. TSUN terminates his contract with YEE. YEE is enraged to find TSUN dating with another woman and she tries to pour some paints at him. YAU stops her on time but he gets paints all over his body. TONG returns to the recording studio but she finds it hard to work with other colleagues since she can’t hear anything. Producer CHUI is enraged to it. TONG feels miserable. She crosses the street without hearing the horn of a truck and YIN risks his life to rescue her. MING worries that Producer CHUI will abandon them so he secretly asks NA to help. YIN discovers this and he starts a quarrel with MING. TONG stops them from fighting and she decides to resign from her post.

July 15, 2008

NA works with YIN to complete the voice over job and Producer CHUI is pleased. MING wants NA to return but NA rejects him. NA asks YIN out and reminds him about his promise to send SAN a birthday gift. SAN calls YIN and tells him that a strange man suddenly comes to his home. YIN discovers a man in SAN’s home and he pretends to be NA’s fiance in front of this man. Surprisingly, this man happens to be SAN’s father – a rich guy called BILLY. YIN asks NA to return to the recording studio and NA finally agrees. TAK asks YAU to carry out investigation on FUN. YAU finds that FUN is keeping a close contact with TSUN. TAK questions FUN and FUN reveals that she has committed defalcation with TSUN. TSUN tries to cover up his guilt by asking TAK to fire YAU. YAU is enraged and he tries to fight with TSUN but TSUN strike him down……

After losing all her hearing, TONG hides herself away all the time. NA learns from the magazine that BILLY’s father is seriously ill. BILLY reveals that he reunites with SAN just because he wants to get a larger portion of his father’s legacy. NA suffers from stomachache all the time and she goes to see the doctor. The doctor discovers a tumor in her stomach and suggests that this tumor could be a malignant tumor. YIN learns from ON that TONG is depressed all the time and he is heart-broken. TONG wants to resign from her voluntary work. YIN and all the kids try to cheer her up by singing with sign language. TONG is deeply touched and she decides to start anew. TONG discovers that NA has got a tumor in her stomach. BILLY suggests that he wants to bring SAN to USA. NA accepts his suggestion but YIN suddenly arrives…

1x19 - Episode 19

July 17, 2008

TSUN loses 20 million dollars in the stock market and he requests FUN to commit defalcation again but FUN refuses. KAN meets PO while visiting his daughter’s grave and he tries to scold him. Some gangsters suddenly kidnap them and they ask for 20 million dollars. TSUN receives the call from the kidnappers. He reminds all family members not to call the police and he secretly increases the ransom money to 40 million dollars. TSUN’s family members return to the office to take the company’s chop for payment authorization. YAU meets them and he informs YIN about the case. YIN and YAU decide to report the case to the police and they try to follow TSUN. The kidnappers try to shoot TSUN. YIN rushes out to rescue TSUN and he is hurt by the gunshot. The police arrive at the scene to arrest all kidnappers. TSUN is arrested as well for attempting to steal the ransom money. NA visits YIN at the hospital and she reveals to TONG that she loves him……
