19x1 - Launch Show

September 24, 2021

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman return to the ballroom for the launch of Strictly Come Dancing 2021. Dusting off their paddles are returning judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse, alongside the newest addition to the panel, Strictly's longest-serving professional dancer Anton Du Beke.Fifteen new celebrities are paired with professional partners before taking to the floor for the first time in a huge group number. There are two routines from the Strictly professionals, one of which introduces our four brand new dancers. Not to be missed are the return of reigning champion Bill Bailey and a spectacular music performance from Anne Marie. It’s time to start dancing!

19x2 - Week 1

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman host as our Strictly Come Dancing stars of 2021 dance live for the very first time. With their paddles at the ready are judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke.No-one leaves the competition tonight, but the judges' scores will be carried over to next week when the viewers will have the chance to vote for their favourite couple.

It's the return of the Strictly Come Dancing Halloween Special! Opening the show in style, the professional dancers treat us to a performance with a sweet twist on the villains we all know and love. The remaining couples embrace the All Hallows Eve theme and some fiery, fierce and fun routines can be expected. The leader board has been spookily close every week so any couple could make the top spot.

This has been one of the highest-scoring series of Strictly Come Dancing so far, and tonight our semi-finalists dance not once, but twice, in a bid to make it through to next week’s Grand Final. It will be the most challenging week for our remaining couples as they master two brand new routines that they hope will win your votes at home. The Glitterball Trophy is within touching distance, and no-one wants to fall at the final hurdle.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman host as each couple performs three routines in a bid to be your Strictly Champions. The brilliant Ed Sheeran performs, and the cast of 2021 are back for one more spin on the dancefloor. Remember that, in the final, the judges' scores are for guidance only. The winner lies entirely in your hands.
