Susi Paschke (Ingrid Steeger), 27, Berliner, arrives at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. Her brother Paul (Peer Augustinski), who works as an aircraft mechanic for the German-French aircraft company and lives with his family in Paris, had asked her to take care of his household for a while. His wife Anna left him a few days ago and left him with his ten-year-old daughter Lulu (Ulrike Martineck), the somewhat quirky uncle Otto (Helmut Holger) and Tommy, the family friend (Klaus Dahlen).
1x2 - Driving Test

Driving tests Episode 2 (45 mins) Susi Paschke (Ingrid Steeger), who was brought from Berlin to Paris by her brother Paul (Peer Augustinski) to run the household for him and his family, soon realizes that she has taken on a difficult task. A chronic lack of money forces her to consider how she could supplement the community coffers with a part-time job. When the position of a chauffeur becomes vacant, Paul, Uncle Otto (Helmut Holger), neighbor Tommy (Klaus Dahlen) and his wife Yoko (Isabelle Lacamp) theoretically teach her how to drive – practically on a dry-run. In fact, Susi gets the job. Unfortunately, the first trip turns into a disaster; However, this does not prevent the boss from continuing to employ Susi. Alain, the policeman (Jean-Paul Zehnacker) has called back in the meantime and invited Susi to dinner. However, the romance that has just begun ends in dissonance. Once again Susi was unlucky to find a man to love. At least it's not Alain.

At the same time, however, she worries about her brother, because his wife cannot have eloped for no reason. Paul must have done something wrong in his marriage.

Susi Paschke (Ingrid Steeger), who has been running the household of her brother Paul (Peer Augustinski) in Paris for some time, reports in her diary entries about the events of the turbulent Christmas days: It all started when Paul, who had briefly sought consolation from a friend about the grief with his wife, suddenly dumped her and, in such a depressive phase, allowed himself to be converted to the guru philosophy of Asian mendicant monks. The Paschkes' cash register is once again low, but the thought of the necessary Christmas presents makes Susi become inventive. Christmas seems saved. The Paschke family decided to go to the country to relax for a while. They want to have alternative recreation on a farm, lead a simple country life and earn their living from the work of their hands. Uncle Otto (Helmut Holger) is elected president, while the rest of the family members throw themselves into their new jobs with great enthusiasm. However, the Paschkes soon realize that the simple life and unfamiliar activities have their pitfalls. So the arrival of a traveling artist comes in handy for a change. Susi in particular is fascinated by Don Carlos (Bernard Menez). However, after an applauded premiere performance in the barn, she felt that she wasn't born to be an artist. Susi Paschke (Ingrid Steeger), who came to Paris from Berlin to look after her brother Paul's (Peer Augustinski) household, has had all sorts of adventures. Unfortunately, Paul's wife Anna, who left her husband and family in a hurry, hasn't returned yet. So now Susi, uncle Otto (Helmut Holger) and neighbor Tommy (Klaus Dahlen) set out to look for them and bring them home. Her path takes her to Scandinavia, where Anna (Elisabeth Margoni) is said to have found solace and refuge with famous film director Ingo Berg (Daniel Emilforc). But the search suddenly turns into a journey with obstacles. Unexpectedly, Susi and her companions become puppets in a psychodrama in which Master Berg pulls the strings and are confronted with the abysses of their own subconscious. Will they find Anna and will Susi's role as a substitute housewife come to an end? In any case, for Susi Paschke, a phase in her life now seems to be over. Maybe it's a new beginning
