There, the Ibarras learn that Dodoy needs to undergo a heart bypass surgery that costs a million. Serena then begs her mother to help Tenten's family, but Luciana refuses.

Meanwhile, Taps is filled with hope upon learning that a foundation paid for Dodoy’s heart bypass surgery. Unbeknownst to Taps, Luciana is the one who financed the operation to pay Binggoy for kidnapping Serena.

Determined to do the right thing, Tenten informs Luciana that Binggoy is the one who kidnapped Serena. To appease a brokenhearted Tenten, Binggoy sends his brother’s composition to the songwriting competition Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs. After learning that his song was accepted, Tenten goes to the office of Star Records, where he meets Angel.
