CHUNG KWOK KEUNG is the owner of a small interior design company and CHING WAI YEE is his girlfriend. YEE is an easy-going person who likes to shop in Mainland China. LAP CHUN is late for work after repairing his car and his boss CHI HIN scolds him for having bad time management skills. CHUN and CHEUNG MAN CHING are good friends. They work in the same architecture firm and they are busy working on a mega architecture project in Chengdu recently. KEUNG gets a new project in Zhongshan. YEE wants to accompany him to Zhongshan but she cannot make it due to an ad-hoc meeting. KEUNG goes to Zhongshan alone and he tries to sell the extra ticket at the ferry pier. CHING buys his ticket and they chat with each other happily on the ferry. CHING meets KEUNG again in Zhongshan. KEUNG is arguing with the construction workers and CHING steps in to help KEUNG. KEUNG returns home to discover that his elder sister KWOK MEI’s husband KA WO and her son TAI YIP are quarrelling with each other on YIP’s future career. CHING meets CHUN when going to work. CHUN tells CHING that the big boss KONG SHING YUE is returning to Hong Kong and they gossips about YUE. After the conversation, they are shocked to realize that YUE is in the same lift. During the meeting, YUE gives senseless suggestions to the current projects but only CHING dare to speak up among all the other staffs. YUE looks at CHING in a different light and prods her into joining the architect contest. Later, YUE discovers that CHING is not talented enough to join the contest. He declares that nobody is good enough to replace ISSAC CHUNG and leaves disappointedly… CHING tries very hard to search for ISSAC CHUNG while YUE discovers the name card of KEUNG on CHING’s desk.… ...

CHING meets KEUNG in front of the award-winning architecture designed by ISSAC CHUNG and she cannot help showing her appreciation towards ISSAC CHUNG in front of KEUNG. KEUNG reveals that he is ISSAC CHUNG but he doesn’t want to return to the architecture field anymore because of the sad memories in the past. YUE’s daughter ON KIU returns to Hong Kong after graduation and YUE asks her to work in his company. YUE has high expectation on KIU and he always scolds her. CHING teaches KIU to speak out and reveals her own ideas in front of YUE. YUE tries to check out CHING’s design and he scolds her hardly after seeing her work. CHING brings her design to KEUNG for help but KEUNG gives the same comments as YUE… KEUNG works overnight at CHING’s office to help amending the design. YUE discovers that KEUNG still has passion on architecture and he forces KEUNG to work for him…

YEE accidentally knocks onto CHUN’s car while driving and CHUN asks CHING to help chasing for compensation from YEE. CHING negotiates with YEE and she realizes that CHUN has exaggerated the repair charges. CHING discovers that YEE is her ex-schoolmate and they become good friends. CHING includes KEUNG’s name in the application form for the architect contest. KEUNG doesn’t go to work at YUE’s office and YUE goes to scold him. YUE is too angry that he suddenly collapses and KEUNG sends him to the hospital. Upon wake up, YUE desperately asks KEUNG to carry on and continue his dream. KEUNG finally agrees to work in YUE’s company. KEUNG is not familiar with the computer softwares and he mistakenly deletes an important project file in the hard disk. He tries to air his grievances to YEE’s younger brother LOK LOK… KEUNG asks CHING to teach him the computer softwares. Later, they discover that their design is not selected in the contest and KEUNG is depressed. LOK doesn’t want to learn swimming and he runs away from home. KEUNG and CHING try to look for LOK together. CHING accidentally hurts her hand and she discovers that KEUNG and YEE are lovers… KEUNG hands in his resignation letter to YUE but YUE asks KEUNG to stay for another 7 days before leaving. KEUNG’s rival at work, WING SHEUNG, believes that he has other intentions by handing in his resignation and she put him on her guard. She goes to Zhongshan to meet an important client ZHANG LI without informing KEUNG. KEUNG is enraged and he bursts into the meeting room to join them.… ...

KEUNG criticizes LI’s plan mercilessly and LI runs away angrily. SHEUNG makes a complaint to YUE. YEE asks KEUNG to apologize to everybody but KEUNG argues with his colleagues angrily after returning to the office. HIN is agitated and his stomach trouble breaks out again. He suddenly spits blood and is sent to the hospital… On the next day, SHEUNG blames KEUNG for causing all the troubles and KEUNG promises to remedy it. CHING visits LI and asks her to give KEUNG a second chance. LI rejects her at first but CHING doesn’t give up. CHING accompanies LI to look for her real father CHEUNG TAK and they become good friends. LI eventually agrees to give KEUNG another chance. KEUNG keeps on changing the drawings and his colleagues find it unbearable. KEUNG later releases all his colleagues and decides to finish the drawings on his own. CHING visits HA and she is shocked to find HA burning the photos of her parents. HA reveals to CHING that her father is actually TAK who is also the father of LI while CHING’s mother is the third person who ruined LI’s family… HA reveals the whereabouts of TAK to CHING and asks her to decide if she would like to visit him. CHING asks KEUNG to drive her to TAK’s store and she makes it into a mess before leaving for Cheungdu. CHING arrives Chengdu with a heavy heart and she tries to visit LI’s mother. The Chengdu project is finished successfully. LI gives everybody a treat and she announces her relationship with CHING during the dinner. CHUN notices that KEUNG is taking special care of CHING and he reminds him to keep a distance from CHING… LI and CHING go to visit TAK together and the three of them reunite with each other. LI and YUE want to find out the one who disclose the design and SHEUNG believes that this person is KEUNG. LI discovers that the trainee YIN is actually the boss’ son and YIN asks her to keep this secret… KEUNG and CHUN return to office to work at night and they meet the sneaky YIN. YIN is carrying out investigation and he believes that HIN is the one who disclosed the design. HIN meets MATT with SHEUNG. SHEUNG blames KEUNG for disclosing the design. YUE suddenly arrives to reveal that the one who disclosed the design is their contractor. He blames SHEUNG for handling the matter childishly and SHEUNG is displeased. SHEUNG hates KEUNG even more afterwards and this is actually a plot of HIN. MATT suggests HIN to chase after KIU so as to become the successor of the company. YUE wants to promote KEUNG to Chief Architect but KEUNG doesn’t know if he is ready. CHING encourages KEUNG to accept the challenge while KEUNG encourages her to join the school design competition. CHING always come to ask KEUNG for advice and YEE feels like an outsider. YEE airs her grievances to CHUN and CHUN asks her not to think too much. After finishing the design, CHING plans to bring HA to Chengdu to meet with LI’s family. CHING wins the championship of the school design competition and a property developer decides to build a new school based on her design. CHING wants to take care of the whole project and YUE agrees. KIU and YIP go to Macau to play. HIN tells lies for KIU and picks her up at the ferry pier. HIN tries hard to build up a good image in front of KIU so that KIU will admire him. HIN presents a new project to a property developer. However, YUE tells HIN that the project has been cancelled and he is very disappointed. During the time, he learns that KEUNG has got promoted so he shifts his anger on KEUNG. CHING changes completely after HA’s death and KEUNG is worried. KEUNG calls CHING several times but CHING doesn’t pick up the phone at all. KEUNG rushes to CHING’s home with CHUN and they discover that YEE is already accompanying CHING.… ...

KEUNG learns that KIN is trying to commit suicide with his son and he rushes to the scene to solve the problem with YEE. KEUNG apologizes to YEE and claims that he was just out of his mind for a while but YEE doesn’t believe in him. HIN learns that KIU is not graduated at all but she uses fake certificate to deceive YUE. He bribes the reporters to inform YUE about this during YUE’s Award Presentation Ceremony. YUE is enraged and he slaps KIU after returning home. KIU is shocked and she runs away. HIN seizes the chance to reveal that KIU is dating with YIP secretly. KIU has no choice but to move to the outlying island with YIP. Some huge rocks are hindering the construction project in Chengdu and KEUNG rushes to LI’s office to learn more about the matter.… ...

Upon receiving YEE’s voice message, KEUNG rushes to CHING’s home and meets CHING. YEE arrives and misconceives that they are dating secretly. CHING meets YEE in front of HA’s grave. She reveals to YEE that she will resign from her job and stay away from KEUNG. KIU and YIP live together in the outlying island. YIP doesn’t want KIU to breakup with her father and he persuades KIU to return home. KIU is enraged and she runs away to HIN. HIN seizes the chance to declare his love to KIU and they end up having sex with each other. KEUNG and the others need to go to Chengdu to supervise the construction project. YEE learns that CHING will be going as well so she tries every ways to stop KEUNG from going but she fails. She therefore decides to follow KEUNG all the way to Chengdu and she tails after CHING all the time. In the evening, KEUNG asks everybody to attend a meeting in his room.… ...

He is overloaded and collapses. KIU wanted to separate with YIP but she becomes softhearted after learning about the efforts that YIP has paid for her. HIN deliberately reveals to YIP that he chases KIU only because of her father’s status. YIP is enraged and hits him. YIP wants to tell KIU everything but HIN arrives earlier to make complaint to KIU. Later, YEE goes to the hospital to apologize to the unconscious CHING. YIP is arrested for attacking HIN. KA WO blames KIU for causing all the troubles. KEUNG presents for a new Hainan project to the president CHOI in a meeting. Since KEUNG is not in a good condition, HIN seizes the chance to show off during the meeting.
