On the beautiful Greek island of Santorini, Trevor McDonald meets a spear fisherman who can hold his breath underwater for seven minutes and explores an unusual hotel built into the side of a volcano. On the north African coast in Tunisia he interviews movie mogul Tarak Ben Ammar, who brought `Star Wars' to that country, and in southern France, Trevor encounters the cowboys of the Camargue.

Trevor goes to the west coast of Italy and visits Vesuvius, one of the world's most dangerous volcanoes, and meets the Naples prosecutor responsible for confronting and convicting members of the mafia. On the stunning Amalfi coast, he visits the idyllic Palazzo Belmonte, where he catches up with the last remaining prince of one of Italy's grandest families.

1x4 - Episode 4

January 25, 2011

Trevor McDonald begins the final leg of his journey across the Mediterranean with a visit to Egypt, where he peers down into the sunken palace of Cleopatra in the harbour of Alexandria. Then he heads to Cyprus, to see a world hidden from view in the buffer zone established by the UN in 1974 to keep warring forces apart. This zone is off-limits, but Trevor has been granted special access.
