The Yukon Blues (2019)
Igor D'India's epic journey down the Yukon River, across Canada & Alaska. 16000 km hitch-hiking and nearly 2000 km solo paddling with an "old-fashioned" approach to adventure. Without any assistance, radio, GPS or phone, just some solar panels to re-charge his audio/video equipment. In 1965 well known mountaineer Walter Bonatti, accomplished a solo expedition by canoe down the Yukon.

Starting from Toronto, Igor must first hitch-hike 7000 kilometres and then, once in the Yukon, he will leave on a 2000 km solo canoe journey. His adventure in the Great White North has now began.

Up in the Yukon, after Hitchhiking 7000km, Igor bought and named his canoe, ROSSANA. A storm forces him to shore for two days on lake Laberge, but then he starts enjoying the wilderness and paddles all the way to Carmacks.

With his canoe ROSSANA, he set off on the river,planning a 2500 km trip. After entering Alaska, the weather gets worse and he decides to join Bill and Rob, gentlemen headed to the Bering sea. But the headwinds are too strong and push him underneath the permafrost shores and the group was obliged to follow different routes.

After being alone and faced with rapids and wind, Igor was able to meet again his friends, Bill and Rob. The group try to start again the trip but soon they split again The choice is now go ahead or not.
