1x1 - Episode 1

June 29, 1992

In the last years of the Sung Dynast, Kubiai's army attacks. Lam On. In order to survive, the Queen intends to submit the emperor's seal and surrender. The head of Sung's soldier, CHEUNG CHUN, fails in stopping the Queen in doing so. Therefore, he steals the seal and escapes to find MAN TIN CHEUNG. He decides to gather the people and saves the country. The Queen then orders to make another seal and hands the false one to PAK NGAN and PO MOK YI. PAK NGAN then submits the seal to the Yuen's Emperor to get reward. However, he then knows that the seal is false. He immediately orders his followers to chase after CHEUNG CHUN. In the City of Kam Ho, facing the chaotic situation, LIU HOC TING immediately prepares for the marriage of his daughter, YUEN YUNG, and YEUNG PANG FU. YUNG and FU are actually perfect match because they grow up together. CHUNG escapes to the City of Kam Ho. He meets NGAN's followers and fights with them……

1x2 - Episode 2

June 30, 1992

YEUNG SIU TIN thinks that he is a rich people and dislikes the fact that YUNG has once disclosed herself in the open area. Therefore, he cancels the marriage and quarrels with TING. When YUNG knows that the marriage has been cancelled, she asks FU to escape with her. However, FU is afraid that he cannot earn a living without his father. Therefore, he neglects YUNG, making YUNG very sad. CHIN YU is very angry with FU for his behaviour. He then beats FU violently. TIN is very angry and goes to blame YUNG. TING realizes that YUNG cannot marry again. He then asks YUNG to live in the temple for the rest of her life. YUNG promises unwillingly. YUNG is treated badly in the temple. In sorrow, she decides to drown herself but is again saved by SUN. However, YUNG is very angry with SUN for his rescue. When SUN knows YUNG's poor experience from the villagers, he accepts her temper and treats her in a friendly way……

1x3 - Episode 3

July 1, 1992

Having got along with SUN for a longer time and being persuaded by CHUN, YUNG gradually loves SUN. CHUN even asks them to get married. CHUN has recovered. He intends to give the seal to MAN TIN CHEUNG's followers. Before he leaves, he tells the truth to SUN and YUNG. He even becomes the brother of SUN. However, CHUN is attacked by NGAN's soldier on the way. At that time, he yiv8S the seal to SUN and asks him to give it to SUNG's offspring. SUN promises. Yet, YUNG is just pregnant. Therefore, he has to wait after YUNG has given birth. CHUN knows that SUN will keep the promise. Without any worry, he fights with NGAN's soldier violently. He finally falls into the valley and dies. NGAN thinks that the seal is with CHUN and ignores it. YUNG knows that her mother has died and wants to go home to attend the bury. However, TING is very angry with her secret marriage with SUN and breaks the relationship with YUNG before everyone……

1x4 - Episode 4

July 2, 1992

In order to repay YUNG, SIN promises to bring up ON FUNG. SIN lives a poor secluded life in the wild with KWONG TIN, ON FUNG and their daughter, SHEUNG YEE. , Because of his handicap, KWONG TIN is very depressed. He always drinks a lot to forget the reality especially when he finds SIN very difficult in supporting the family. However, he always owes a lot of money in buying wine. This even makes SIN difficult to repay. Actually, SIN wants FUNG to learn kung fu in order to take revenge for his parents. However, because of the lack of money, SIN can only teach FUNG some basic strategy in strengthening his body because she had seen how TING taught his followers in the past. However, FUNG does not want to be suppressed by the Yuen soldiers. He then decides to earn a living in the town with his friend, SEK CHUNG. Before he leaves, SIN asks him not to get close to TING's family……

1x5 - Episode 5

July 3, 1992

TING is very stubborn. He decides not to surrender to Yuen and gains the villagers support. In order to defeat TING, PO MOK YI always asks" the Yuen fighter to fight with TING. TING thus has to cope with the fight for over ten years. FUNG meets OY FEI YIN in the town and finds her very beautiful. Once, he quarrels with FU's daughter, CHIN CHIN, when he wants to help FEI YIN. CHIN CHIN is quite bad-tempered. Furthermore, she always makes use of her power to suppress the villagers because her father is working for the Yuen emperor. However, the villagers do not dare to rebel. Since FUNG is the first one to quarrel with her, CHIN CHIN always finds chance to mock at FUNG. FUNG finally know FEI YIN. YIN even introduces FUNG to her uncle, KONG TAN. FUNG and TAN like each other very much. TAN then arranges FUNG to work in his inn. SHEUNG YEE admires the life of those girls in the town……

1x6 - Episode 6

July 6, 1992

TAN finds that FUNG is always defeated by CHIN CHIN. He therefore teaches FUNG kung fu. CHIN CHIN is very angry and poisons FUNG. FUNG is then in critical condition. . CHIN CHIN is very upset and wants to take care of FUNG but is refused by SHEUNG YEE. In order to save FUNG, she even eats the same poison and asks her father to give her the medicine. She then goes to save FUNG. FUNG knows that CHIN CHIN is actually a good person but is influenced by the environment only. He finally understands her and they become good friends. CHIN CHIN knows that FUNG wants to pursue FEI YIN. She always persuades FUNG to get close to her and gives chance to them, making YIN very embarrassed. SHEUNG YEE meets YEN LUNG by chance. She loves him and treats him as her partner in future. However, LUNG knows that he does not like her but does not tell YEE the truth. On the other hand, when LUNG meets YIN, he likes her very much……

1x7 - Episode 7

July 7, 1992

TING is practising kung fu in the wild but hurts himself accidentally. At that time, FUNG passes by and saves him. TING is very grateful to him and finds him very upright. He the~ teaches him some basic kung fu. LUNG knows that FUNG always gets together with YIN. He then sends him away FUNG knows that LUNG likes YIN. However, finding himself quite poor, he does not dare to pursue VIN. But CHIN CHIN still encourages pursuing YIN. TAN finds that YIN seems to love LUNG. He then tests her. However, YIN thinks that she would not take up such affairs before they have fulfilled their job. TAN thus feels released. FW knows that the famous prostitute, FA MONG YAU, has arrived at the city. He wants to get close to her but is refused by YAU for several times. When FUNG practises kung fu in the wild, he discovers YIN's suspicious behaviour……

1x8 - Episode 8

July 8, 1992

TING finds that FUNG is the right person to learn kung fu and thus accepts her as his followers. When LUNG finds that TING treats FUNG so well, he is very jealous at him. PO MOK YI sends a fighter to fight with TING. Although TING can defeat him, he has lost lots of strength and requires a long time for recovery. He then asks LUNG to teach FUNG some basic kung fu. TAN and YIN intend to assassinate YI at that time. However, because of the strong security, they cannot get close to him. FUNG gets a very high status in family LIU. LUNG hates him very much and always treats him badly. CHIN then helps FUNG to teach LUNG, making LUNG even dislikes FUNG. MOK YI knows TING is injured and sends four strong soldiers to attack him. LUNG insists on fighting with them but is defeated, making TING very angry. TING finds FUNG's character quite good, so he teaches him the secret kung fu of family LIU, hoping that he can further develop the kung fu……

1x9 - Episode 9

July 9, 1992

YIN originally wants to chase after YI but in vain. TAN then asks YAU to get closer to FU and YI in order t9 know more about the enemy. In fact, YAU is a daughter of a rich family. She loses her family. She loses her family during the attack of the Yuen soldiers and becomes a prostitute. However she joins TAN’s gang secretly and supplies them with useful information. . YAU and TAN actually love one another. However, because of their own pride, they do not show their love to each other. Yet, when TAN notices the accomplishment of YAU and TAN, he feels very jealous. YIN is chased after by Yuen's soldiers. At that time, FUNG and LUNG meet her. FUNG saves her without caring for himself. However, YIN mistakes that LUNG has saved her. LUNG then takes this chance to pursue YIN. YIN is really touched by LUNG and gradually likes him. YI catches a soldier of TAN and forces him to tell the truth but in vain……

1x10 - Episode 10

July 10, 1992

KUBIAI KAN dies. A new emperor succeeds the throne. In order to show that the Yuen Dynasty has controlled the whole country, he invites many famous people to attend the ceremony. TING is also being invited. However, he does not want to kneel down before the Yuen emperor and refuses to attend the ceremony. He thus quarrels with YI. YI is blamed by the new emperor for his maladministration. He then sets a plan to make LUNG to hurt a soldier and then accuses him in order to force TING to surrender. LUNG is afraid to be sent to prison and requests TING to ask FUNG to replace him. Originally, TING refuses. However, he finds that YI may not hurt FUNG since he has no particular hatred on FUNG. He then requests FUNG to replace LUNG and FUNG promises. YI is very angry then and has to sentence FUNG to death. When CHIN knows that, she immediately requests YI to release FUNG but in vain……

1x11 - Episode 11

July 13, 1992

TAN’s soldiers go to assassinate YI but in vain. TAN is hurt and hides in YAU’s room. YAU takes care of TAN secretly. However, FU visits her at that time. YAU then serves him eagerly in order to deceive him. When TAN notices that, he feels very jealous and even quarrels with YAU. CHIN saves FUNG and arranges him to live in the village. She then returns to find YI and tells YI the truth. Finding that TING has promises to attend the ceremony, YI promises to release FUNG. FUNG does not realize what TING has done for him. When he knows that TING did not save his parents in the past, he becomes even angrier. He then determines to break the relationship with TING. After CHIN has rescued FUNG, she finds that she actually loves FUNG. However, since FUNG still loves YIN, CHIN feels very upset. YI urges TING to attend the ceremony. However, TING does not want kneel down before the emperor……

1x12 - Episode 12

July 14, 1992

When FUNG knows that TING is seriously injured, he is very worried. However, he does not want to visit him but only prays for him. During TING's recovery, he finds that the followers are very loose and blames LUNG. LUNG tells YIN angrily. Later, under the encouragement of YIN, FUNG determines to practise kung fu well in order to toady YIN. Because of the great difference in status, FUNG does not dare to get close to CHIN. However, with the persuasion of SEK CHUNG, he gradually loves CHIN and they become lovers. The new Yuen emperor discovers that the seal is false. Also, at that time, there is a rumour that the Yuen Dynasty will end when the real seal is discovered. He is then very angry and orders YI to investigate the case. TAN knows that it is not easy to get the seal. They then determine to follow YI in order to get it. After they have got the seal, they intend to gather more volunteers to get back their country……

1x13 - Episode 13

July 15, 1992

FU dislikes the relationship between CHIN and FUNG. He then sends his followers to close TAN’s inn and forces them to leave the town in order to separate CHIN and FUNG. CHIN still cannot forget FUNG, she tries hard to find FUNG. She then determines to leave the family and follow FUNG. YI fails in finding their seal. He blames FU making FU very angry. FU then-realizes that CHEUNG CHUN had given a box to YUNG and SIN in the past. Therefore, he tries hard to find the seal in order to" get reward himself. In order to toady YIN, LUNG joins TAN's organization. However, TAN realizes his real intention and always mocks at him. FU knows FUNG's real identity indirectly. Then he pretends to treat him well in order to get the seal. However, FUNG cannot tell him anything because he knows nothing. FUNG knows FU's bad intention and wants to escape with CHIN. However, they are discovered by FU and FUNG is injured by FU……

1x14 - Episode 14

July 16, 1992

FU then knows that YUNG had given the seal to SIN. He then sends people to force SIN to surrender the seal. SIN knows that she cannot escape from FU, so she gives the seal to SHEUNG YEE and, asks CHUNG to protect YEE in order to give the seal to FUNG. When CHIN knows that FU is going to destroy family LIE, she informs TAN secretly. When TAN arrives at family LIU, FU kills CHIN YU because he cannot find the seal. TAN fights with FU and saves TING and LUNG. TAN brings TING and LUNG to hide in his camp. However, they are discovered by FU. FU leads his followers to attack them. TAN protects TING and helps him to escape to the Town of Kam Ho and LUNG escapes himself. Before TAN leaves the town, he persuades YAU to escape with them. However, YAU wants to stay behind to investigate VI. TAN then leaves sadly. FU catches SIN and TIN and forces them to surrender the seal……

1x15 - Episode 15

July 17, 1992

On the way, SHEUNG YEE and SEK CHUNG meet CUNG. Since YEE still loves LUNG, they then go to find FUNG together. YEE is very worried with her parents, so she asks CHUNG to find them. However, CHUNG is afraid that LUNG will hurt her. Therefore, he asks YEE not to mention the seal before LUNG. FUNG is seriously injured and is rescued by TING. FUNG still cannot forgive TING. However, they are attacked by Yuen's soldiers. TING dies when he intends to protect FUNG. This makes FUNG very regret. FU hangs TING's body up in the town in order to force FUNG to appear. FUNG is nearly deceived by FU but is stopped by TAN. On the other hand, LUNG finds YEE very suspicious. Finally, he discovers that YEE has the seal. LUNG then pretends to treat YEE well in order to get the seal. CHUNG then tells YEE about the death of her parents. YEE is very sad. LUNG takes this chance to comfort her, making her very touched……

1x16 - Episode 16

July 20, 1992

LUNG turns against YEE and CHUNG after he obtains the seal. When YEE wants to stop him LUNG even mocks at her. CHUNG is even pushed down the cliff. LUNG then brings along with the seal to find TAN. YAU intends to assassinate YI and FU but is discovered by YI. SIU KUEN immediate helps YAU to get rid of the trouble. YI is still, very angry and even rapes YAU. Since FUNG has lost his family, he decides to join the gang of TAN in order to regain their country. LUNG knows that he can become the leader of the gang if he has the seal. Therefore, he joins the gang with the seal. Although TAN does not believe him, he still accepts him because of the past promise. LUNG tells FUNG about the death of YEE and CHUNG and even puts all the blame on YI. FUNG gives up himself after he knows that.

1x18 - Episode 18

July 22, 1992

Because of LUNG's bellicose character, the gang suffers several defeats. They finally have to escape to the hill, leading a hard life. FUNG leads the followers to have a sudden attack at FU and succeeds in catching FU. Originally, FUNG intends to kill FU to take revenge for his parents. However, the followers suggest that they should take advantage of FU to get a large sum of money from Yuen in order to buy more weapons. . When CHIN knows that her father is being caught, she takes the chance to persuade him to join the gang. The gang still want to kill FU. CHIN then promises to kill YI but is defeated by YI. YI then says that CHIN is his daughter. This makes CHIN very embarrassed. In fact, CHIN is the daughter of YI and a HAN girl. However, because of their different status, YI then asks FU to bring up CHIN for him. He can only treat CHJN as his adopted daughter. He loves CHIN so deep because he has no other son.

1x19 - Episode 19

July 23, 1992

LUNG is very jealous at FUNG and afraid that he would one day take his place in the gang. He then releases FU and puts the blame on FUNG. He then sends FUNG away. TAN alsoifollow5 FUNG to leave the gang. YIN discovers LUNG real character. She intends to persuade LUNG but in vain. She is then very disappointed. When CHIN knows her real identity, she does not know what to do. But she feels better after YI tells her that Yuen people are not all bad and the fact that Han people always fought with one another in the past. CHIN meets CHUNG and knows that YEE is killed by LUNG and he even takes away the seal. She then goes to find FUNG and follows him in the future. When FUNG knows the truth, he insists on finding LUNG to take revenge. He goes to the camp and tells the truth to everyone. However, the followers do not trust him. LUNG then locks him up but FUNG is released by YIN.

1x20 - Episode 20

July 24, 1992

LUNG's gang is always defeated by Yuen' soldiers. In order to lead a better life, he even surrenders to Yuen secretly, making the whole gang being destroyed. When YIN knows the truth, she pretends to remain calm and wait for the chance to kill LUNG. However, this is discovered by LUNG and YIN is killed by him. At that time, FUNG just arrives. Before her death, YIN asks FUNG to get back the seal from LUNG. YI orders LUNG to bring the seal to the capital. FUNG chases after LUNG and FU but finds that the seal is false. He then knows that he has been deceived by VI. He goes to find YI and kills him before CHIN. CHIN feels very sad and finds that she can no longer get along with FUNG. She then becomes a nun. FUNG finds that many people die in the years when they struggle for the seal. He then makes his own decision. What does FUNG actually choose to do?
