The Gentle Wind Sword Sect leaves the arena, despite being one of Gao Chong's trusted friends. Zhou Xu rescues Cheng Ling and Lao Wen joins in to help him. The Five Lakes Alliance Monument is destroyed by the beggar sect disciples.

Gu Xiang treats Cao Wei Ning at Mount Hua sect. He tells her about his bad dreams in which he was unable to save her. Zhao Jing actively starts to work openly with the Scorpions, killing everyone who dared to slander him. He concludes that Gao Chong had cleverly planned to destroy the armor to end the war for the sake of the Jianghu while the actual shards are safely hidden.

Ah' Xu and he manage to save Cheng Ling, but are thrown into a cave with drug men created by Long Xiao.
