By far the biggest back wash wave I've surfed before! What is a backwash wave? If there is a rocky cliff steep enough it bounces the waves energy back out to sea creating a massive collision with the on coming breaking wave. Crazy fun, pretty dangerous but so most potential. I always wondered how fast I could go on a Wingfoil board, my goal was to go and find out. The wind was wild, gusty offshore conditions blowing from 5 to 35 knots. With the foil I was able glide through the dead zones no problem, and on the gusts project forward as fast as I could.
