Season 1 DVD extras. A featurette with Jim Belushi discussing different aspects of the series, specifically season one. He opens with a reflection about how easier it was to come up with material in the beginning. He continues talking about specific season one storylines. While I was not a big fan of the show, I enjoyed Belushi's dissection of the season one episodes.

He also talks about the shows ratings, filming locations, the cast, writers, and guest stars. With some clips from the season, this feature offers a nice look back with Jim Belushi at a memorable season.

Jim Belushi, Courtney Thorne-Smith, Larry Joe Campbell and Kimberly Williams-Paisley talk about the importance of performing in front of a live audience and how they feed off their reactions. At fifteen minutes, there's a lot of discussion including the use of four cameras, writing for TV, set design, performing for TV vs. theater, keeping the audience entertained and more. There's a decent amount of interviews, footage of the tapings, Jim Belushi entertaining the audience, and warm up comedian Michael Burger interacting with the audience. Overall, this is a fun, entertaining behind-the-scenes look at what goes into taping a live sitcom.

Similar to previous DVD releases of "According to Jim," the featurette is a look back at the season. The feature begins with Jim Belushi talking about coming into season five and how American Idol came along and began to take away ratings from them as well as others. He goes onto discuss other aspects of the season including getting raises, moving to smaller sets, guest stars and more. There are clips from some of the episodes, and Jim talks about several of them including "Foul Ball" that features his real life son, Robert Belushi, and "The Race" that features his real life daughter, Jamison Belushi.
