Entertainment is provided by Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer as you've never seen him before and one of the guests walks away with a Christmas present of £1000 for charity.

Miranda is adamant that everyone should at least try her starter, but some of her guests find them hard to swallow, in particular fussy chip van owner Cheryl Pennell, who isn't keen on eating any "foreign muck". But house music producer Danny Bond - otherwise known as DJ Gadget Man - loves snails when they are cooked to perfection (he won't be satisfied with rubber bullets). Her guests are less fearful of her main course - sea bass with roasted vegetables - but local radio DJ Dave Webster does not spend his evening masticating over bones. Completing the Norwich line-up is self-confessed smarty pants Amy Nicholson who finds the perfect opportunity to show off when conversation turns to Miranda's ostentatious word-wall. So, will Miranda's saucy outfits, posh menu and high-brow dinner conversation bag her £1,000 prize? Or will the snails and pretension leave her guests feeling sluggish and uncomfortable?

Dave's 'entertainment' initially seems underwhelming, but it causes rather a stir when Miranda gets competitive and loses her rag. It soon becomes clear that Nick is taking his role of Scrooge too seriously and his guests are shocked when they see the tiny amount of food on their plates and the portion control applied to the dessert. To make matters worse, Nasty Nick's hosting leaves a lot to be desired and even a rousing chorus of Ding Dong Merrily on High fails to end the evening on a high note.

His guests arrive resplendent in Far Eastern costumes. The arrival of a belly dancer lightens the mood and there's wall-to-wall wobbling flesh as the celebrities burn off some of the calories they have consumed.
