LAM TSOI-YEH's sole purpose in life is to protest; whereas rich kid YAU TIN's sole purpose in life is to keep idling. YAU TIN suddenly receives an emergency call from his mother and returns to Hong Kong, and it turns out that his father, YAU CHEUNG, is dying. On the other hand, TSOI-YEH is also called back to Hong Kong by his mother because his father, LAM CHI-WING, has become seriously ill. YAU CHEUNG sends his secretary SNOOPY and bodyguard MO DIK to assist YAU TIN. So the two lead YAU TIN to their Useful Store flagship shop with an over 30 years history in the industry located in a shopping mall. Thinking it's too small, YAU TIN plans to drive away its adjacencies so as to expand the store. With the Useful Store announcing a public recruitment event, DUMPLING intends to apply for a job together with his godson MA LEI-AH.… ...

Seeing that CHI-WING sprains his ankle, TSOI-YEH tells him to go to the hospital to have a checkup. However, CHI-WING refuses to do so, therefore, TSOI-YEH suggests that CHI-WING should go to a health care centre. With TSOI-YEH asking LAI-MAN about how to treat Alzheimer's disease, PEI-TAK treats CHI-WING with acupuncture while LAI-MAN gives him a stepping-on-back massage, making CHI-WING feel unspeakably miserable. Getting help from two extras, LAM SUET successfully recovers the money she pre-paid to the cosmetic surgery company.… ...

Seeing that LAM SUET uses a one-thousand-dollar note to buy paper napkins, MA LEI-AH decides to start courting her. LAM SUET goes to a TV station to apply to compete in the Miss Kowloon Pageant, Newbie Singing Contest and Cooking Contest, believing that she is going to be admitted to one of the contests and thereby join the showbiz. MO DIK suggests holding a theme day, so YAU TIN comes up with an idea which is to hold a Siberian Food Festival, above which he even forces his employees to wear their local fur clothing, making LAI-MAN sweat a lot. Wearing a polar bear costume outside of the store, TSOI-YEH gets himself kicked and beaten by naughty kids. After moving his costume head, he sees CHING-MAN walking towards him, and immediately recognizes that CHING-MAN was his high school classmate.… ...

With the staff of the Useful Store starting a work-to-rule, not much business is done. YAU TIN goes in person to scold his employees, however, he ends up starting showing off himself being a rich kid. MO DIK notices that someone tries to record this in secret and immediately thwarts it; whereas SNOOPY advises YAU TIN that it would be very troublesome once his speech is made public. Unexpectedly, YAU TIN cannot wait to upload that video clips to the internet after knowing that he has revealed the thoughts of all rich kids. On top of that, he even has some produced as TV specials. There is a public outcry over his comment in the wake of the show, and the people boycott the Useful Stores. YAU CHEUNG reprimands YAU TIN for having crossed the line, demanding him to fix this as soon as possible. Borrowing an idea from a TV program, YAU TIN seeks aid from the program host, LEE SZE-CHIT, and manages to ease the crisis.… ...

Pastor MA LAI-KO goes to have a word with SNAKE MING as soon as he receives the notice. SNAKE MING goes to the Useful Store to collect the protection fee, but YAU TIN has no idea what's going on with him, so SNAKE MING dashes to the cashier and directly grabs the money from there. In the nick of time, MA LAI-KO arrives and successfully retrieves the money, and DUMPLING helps him subdue SNAKE MING, who immediately shows remorse for his action on the heels of hearing a song. Moreover, SNAKE MING points out that YAU TIN bears a strong resemblance to MA LAI-KO, misconstruing YAU TIN to be MA LAI-KO's son. Apart from having a dream about her daughter's recovery from an allergy after getting married and giving birth, TSAU-SHUI also learns from a TV program that women will recuperate physically after giving birth and many former syndromes will also disappear. PEI-TAK and the others treat CHING-MAN and eventually cure her allergy syndrome. At midnight, TSAU-SHUI and KWOK PO go to the health care centre, and take away CHING-MAN by force. When helping renovate the church, DUMPLING warns LAI-KO to be careful. CHING-MAN invites LAI-KO to patronise the store, but LAI-KO mistakes her for a prostitute. For the sake of her daughter, TSAU-SHUI decides to set up her council office above the health care centre. LAM SUET borrows ,000 from her family members so as to pay off her gambling debt. On the other hand, YAU TIN also loses more than million at the casino, so he goes to seek help from his mother BARBARA because his father cut him off without a penny, during which he runs into LAM SUET. Although BARBARA has not agreed to pay off the debt for her son YAU TIN, she encourages YAU TIN to court LAM SUET as soon as she hears that her son has a crush on LAM SUET.… ...

Giving BARBARA a necklace as a gift, MA LEI-AH sighs that he is not a superstar, so BARBARA requests YAU TIN to establish an entertainment company and make MA LEI-AH rise to stardom, adding that she has found a sponsor. It turns out that her rich friend KAM KWONG's younger sister, KAM PING-MUI, also wants to be a superstar. Speaking at the press conference upon the establishment of Chan Sang Chai Entertainment Company, YAU TIN announces that they will cooperate with his father's TV company to hold a China Guy and Hong Kong Gal Contest (CGKG). With TSOI-YEH receiving the warning letter sent out by the collection agency, LAM SUET admits that she in fact owes more than one debit. TSOI-YEH learns that CHING-MAN makes a decent living by working as the councillor's assistant. After hearing what CHING-MAN explains to him in detail, TSOI-YEH notices that the job description is pretty much similar to the volunteer works that he has been doing, so he would also like to be one of the candidates in the election.… ...

LAI-MAN goes to the studio to record a voiceover for PING-MUI; whereas the one who records the voiceover for the main actor turns out to be KWOK PO, who hits it off with LAI-MAN, and soon the two even appreciate each other very much. Arriving at the rooftop, LAM SUET hopes KO-YAM can teach E KIN how to sing. Out of the blue, KO-YAM chases after E KIN and hits him as soon as E KIN starts singing the song for the contest. Following REFUSE HING's suggestion, LAM SUET lures KO-YAM by using his weakness, wine, so KO-YAM has no other choice but to agree to help her. Coincidentally, LAI-KO and YAU TIN both go to attend the funeral for the late Lawyer CHAN. While there, YAU CHEUNG cannot help feeling something, indicating that the reason why YAU TIN becomes such a spendthrift is because he knows that no one would ever fight over the estate assets with him.… ...

Having disguised herself as a pizza delivery guy, MO DIK arrives at LAM's home and carries away TSOI-YEH after knocking him unconscious, yet later on, she bumps into LAI-KO. When TSAU-SHUI is distributing the gifts to the neighbors, CHING-MAN grabs two large bags of gifts to give to TSOI-YEH as well as the health care centre. Although TSOI-YEH turns his nose up at her offer, CHING-MAN explains to him patiently. Due to the fact that TSOI-YEH has no money for the promotion campaign, CHING-MAN offers to help him set up a webcast and name it "www.zitaulomong.com (Jump into a Web)".… ...

YAU TIN accuses LAM SUET of deceiving him; whereas LAM SUET resents that her attempt was made without result, adding that she is going to knock him out in the singing contest. To her surprise, YAU TIN reveals that they have already changed the system, and as a result, LAM SUET can no longer participate in the contest by using the song titled, "Old Friends". While practising the vocal skills, LAM SUET discovers that MA LAI-AH not only published the MV of the "Flower of Love", but also falsely claimed that the song was written by himself. LAM SUET then drowns her sorrow in alcohol. In view of this, KO-YAM teaches her how to take revenge on him. Going to the No Background Music, YAU TIN seeks to hold MASTER TING accountable for everything, the two thus start quarreling with each other. YAU TIN offers million to buy out the No Background Music, claiming to put LAM SUET on hiatus, so LAM SUET turns to seek help from MA LAI-KO.… ...

After LAM SUET reveals that KO-YAM has been drowning his problems in alcohol every day, TSUN-WANG believes that there might be a turning point in KO-YAM's life if they could help get things off his chest. Getting inspired, LAM SUET points out that there should be a duplicate tape recording of KO-YAM's late wife YEE-SHAN's last words. Revealing that her boyfriend is in the Useful Store, the two then go to the store, where they bump into MA LEI-AH. Although CHI-WING and KWAI-LAN are nominated for the Best Actor/Actress Award, both of them become very disappointed after coming to realize the reality that the result of the award is predetermined. In light of this, TSOI-YEH decides to organize a mass movement to support his parents, swearing to make them the Best Actor and Actress.
