Davey trains Goliath to roller skate and decides he wants to organize a dog show for Goliath to compete in. The local television station hears of the dog show and decides to broadcast it but Davey breaks his leg while practicing.

Davey tries his hand at gardening, but is neglectful of his chores. Davey learns that God sends sun and rain, but it's up to him to do the rest.

Davey attempts to rescues Goliath after he falls in a river. Together they go over a waterfall, and Davey must help an injured Goliath.

Davey compares his neighbor Hank to God after watching him do his job as an air traffic controller, but Hank quickly sets Davey straight.

As editor-in-chief of his own small newspaper, Davey lands a big scoop, but he turns it over to the real newspaper's editor-in-chief.

Davey and Goliath get into a fight with a bully and his dog,but later seeing the boy in trouble, Davey forgives him.

Davey is angry because his father allowed his younger sister, Sally, to join them on what he thought would be a father-son outing. When Davey meets a fatherless farm boy on the trip, he realizes how important a father is to all his children.

Using his ingenuity, Davey rescues Sally after a foot bridge they were walking on breaks.

Davey doesn't agree with his fellow club members, The Jickets, so they kick him out of the club.

When Mr. Hansen fixes Sally's doll carriage instead of helping Davey build a lemonade stand, a jealous Davey soon learns his father loves his children equally.

Davey and Teddy, helping Lorenzo the magician with his magic act, learn that magicians only do tricks, but God's miracles are real.

1x36 - Good Neighbor

January 25, 1964

To celebrate "Good Neighbor Week" the townspeople give out balloons to the children. Davey misses out on the festivities because he decides to help a small child find her way home instead.

1x37 - A Dillar, A Dollar

February 8, 1964

Davey and Teddy are sent to Principal Denny's office for tardiness, but to their surprise Principal Denny is understanding, not harsh.

1x38 - Rags and Buttons

February 22, 1964

Sally is crowned queen at a festival, but she loses her favorite rag doll in the process. Davey helps his sister by finding the doll for her.

1x39 - Jeep in the Deep

March 7, 1964

During a ferry ride, the Hansen family's jeep falls overboard. Davey and his father go scuba diving to see where it landed.

Davey wishes that everybody would be like him, so his dad tells him to imagine what the world would be like if everyone was like him, and there was nobody else. While imagining the scenario, Davey finds that he would be sick and tired of himself and appreciates the differences that people possess.

Sally keeps doing dumb things that makes Davey want to yell at her, so as a New Years resolution, Davey decides not to yell at her at all. He can barely take it and decides not to talk to Sally at all. Sally then thinks that Davey does not love her anymore and runs away from home. With Davey's parents away, Davey must try to find Sally, patch things up, and get to the church in time to ring in the New Year for Mr. Oph, the bellringer. (C.1967)

This special starts where Davey, his Grandmother, and Goliath are all getting ready for Easter. Davey's Gradma tells Davey how she will see his baseball game on Saturday and how they will get together on Easter. After having a heartwarming time at Grandma's, he has to go home. On Thursday after baseball practice, Davey comes only to see his sister crying and the rest of the family upset. Davey learns that his Grandma had passed away, which totally depresses Davey. On Saturday at the game, Davey sulks and can't keep his mind off his Grandma. After walking out of the game, he goes to his Grandmother's house to walk around. There the voices of the good times, now gone come rushing to Davey's mind. After not showing up at home, Sally asks where Davey is. John has a feeling that Davey and Goliath are both at the cemmetary and that is exactly where they are. John then takes Davey to the outdoor set of a play his Grandma wanted him to see. It is a set with the cross, the tomb, and more. Actor

1x44 - DELETE

It is Halloween and the kids get all dressed up. Afterwards, the baker allows them to have a mischeif night, but they go way too far. Disguised in masks, they realize that they can do anything they want and that no body will know who they are. They go too far breaking windows, property, and vandalizing the neighborhood. They blame their behavior on the characters they are protraying instead of themselves. The next day, Davey wants nothing to do with Goliath because he bit him in the name of being a Tiger, Goliath growls and is mad at Sally because she tripped Goliath in the name of being a witch. Then Davey has to realize that he has to tell a friend that he shot a mini missle and destroyed this man's bee hive. Nothing seems right and Davey's conscience is going through some tough time. When they confess (even to themselves) that they were the ones that did it, they feel better and try to put it all behind them. (C.1967)
