The "devatas" travel to Kailash to meet Lord Shiva and request his assistance because Mahishasur has begun carrying out his atrocities since receiving the boon. Mahishasur brings destruction to the planet, but Maa Parvati has already made measures to eliminate him as quickly as possible. She leaves Kailash in order to engage in penance in order to awaken her "Shakti" since she is so furious at how he has been treating and taking advantage of women. They also inform the girl's father that the little girl's child is Maa Katyayani herself who has incarnated to kill the demon. Maa Parvati comes as an earthly incarnation to put an end to the atrocities committed by the powerful demon Mahishahsur.
