KAM MEI-TSUN, the marketing manager of a large supermarket, always strives to offer her customers with the lowest possible prices. Recently, she finds that the price of the Japanese mushroom selling in her supermarket is higher than the rival supermarket. She blames the marketing research company for the fault… MAN TIN-CHI faces the question with ease. TSUN demands CHI to treat her to lunch, CHI does not compromise, she pays her bill in the end. TSUN and CHI are teased by their workmates that they should make a fine couple, TSUN bursts into laughter. Suddenly, a man runs out into the street, fortunately, he does not get hurt. The man is called KO CHING, who is planning home move for his daughter’s sake… CHI encounters KO CHI-TIM, his godfather, who treated him good in Macau during his childhood. During the conversation, CHI knows that TIM has settled down in Hong Kong. TIM says he will cure CHI of his allergy.… ...

A group of people are invited by CHI’s company for conducting a market research, while choosing the right candidate is the big headache for the research team. Fortunately, CHI is there to help, so the report is finished successfully. CHI earns high praise from his boss, MARCO MA YUN-CHEUNG. MARCO implies he wants to promote CHI to Assistant Director, but it means more workload at the same time. CHI laughs a bitter laugh. CHING asks the help from CHI when he is moving home, as his wife, CHING YEUK-SZ, is on her business trip. In order to make his wife happy, CHING buys a secondhand bracelet from an online auction. CHING has made the deal with the online seller, LAW SZ-HEI, and is going to pay and collect his purchase on the next day. It turns out that HEI is TSUN’s younger cousin…Next day, CHING and HEI are robbed when they meet in the street. CHING, enraged, demands HEI to give him back the money, yet HEI does not compromise.… ...

CHING questions the school when he finds out HEI is the instructor of his daughter. The principal proves to CHING about HEI’s professional qualification by giving him a look at her professional certificate. CHING becomes wordless…HEI is questioned by her customers about her creditability after CHING has given her poor rating in online auction, nevertheless, she is able to give her customers confidence because of her good reputation in the past. HEI tells her mother, LI TAI-CHOI, that she has saved sufficient money for a world tour. She wishes to make his father’s dream come true, that is to travel around the world and see sunrise in different places with her mother together... After solving a big problem in the company, CHI is delighted to call TSUN to share with her. However, TSUN is not in office and does not answer his call as she has taken a leave to pick up her boyfriend.… ...

CHI finds PUI-PUI is brought to the school by SZ instead of CHING, and realized that CHING is sick. CHI returns to the office and is surprised to learn the news about PAUL, a colleague who always butters up the boss, is assigned to oversee all the projects. Later, CHI goes to TIM’s home to take the medicine. He finds TIM is very sick. Immediately, he brings TIM home to take a rest. CHI blames CHING for causing his father sick. CHING visits TIM at CHI’s home…CHI and LAM maintain a stable relationship, sometimes they go out with TSUN together to play bowling. They encounter JAMES, who works under PAUL. JAMES learns the conversation between LEO and CHI. In the conversation, CHAI is making a joke that he wants to hire CHI. The rumour is widely spread in CHI’s company. To persuade CHI to stay, CHI’s boss is going to promote him…In the end, HEI has the whole picture about CHING that he is actually a good man.… ...

CHI resigns. He needs his staff to keep his resignation in low-key. Nevertheless, the news is prevalent in the industry. TSUN consults CHI about his decision to resign. CHI tells her frankly that he still has not got a new job. To boost CHI’s mood, LAM is planning to go for a travel with him together. PUI-PUI is granted an interview in a famous school. HEI tells CHING that she can teach PUI-PUI interview skills. CHING talks to SZ about the school interview. SZ is not able to attend the interview as she has a business trip. Without any better solution, CHING asks TIM to go with him. To have good preparation, TIM buys expensive suits for CHING and himself especially for the interview. Unfortunately, PUI-PUI gets fever on the interview day. Nevertheless, CHING insists to go as scheduled. And because of the interview, he has a dispute with his boss and finally he resigns. CHI dates TSUN and LAM for a hotpot meal at home.… ...

A customer complains about the Welldone Superstore. TSUN is there to help settling the complaint. TSUN phones CHI as she wants to ask about the project proposal. She is surprised to learn about the break-up of CHI and LAM because of JIMMY, and that CHI is worrying about his job. TSUN thinks the new assistant director of CHI’s company is not the right person to handle the project, so she discusses the matter with LEO. Later, TSUN meets with MARCO, she threatens to terminate the cooperation with MARCO’s company if CHI is the not the one to take care of the project. TSUN deliberately let MARCO noticing that CHI and LEO are having a private meeting when MARCO hesitates to reply. Immediately, MARCO hires CHI again. CHI is delighted. TIM worries about CHING for he still has not got a job. Without telling CHING, TIM talks to CHI and hopes he can find CHING a job. On the other hand, CHING wishes to cheer SZ up, he asks HEI for help.… ...

CHING applies for the position of auditor in CHI’s company. After the interview, CHI urges CHING that he needs to do his job well. On the other hand, CHI seeks the advice from CHING about the communication skills between father and son. CHING passes his job interview. He giddily tells SZ about this good news, but she does not respond the way as CHING expected. TSUN brings together with HEI and CHOI to the dinner she has with LEO’s father LUI PAK-TONG, who has just returned to Hong Kong. BEN, LEO’s brother, is deeply attracted to HEI. LEO’s elder sister is not getting along with HEI for the first time she meets her. Everyone feels helpless. SZ leaves with rage as she sees CHING and HEI are chatting happily. CHING wants to make it clear to SZ, however, he is stunned to find SZ is dating another man. SZ has no choice but to propose divorce. CHING feels helpless and not ready to accept the reality.… ...

CHIING celebrates with PUI-PUI at home for her birthday. CHI and JIMMY are invited to the party. CHING still cannot get rid of the pain after the divorce. TIM realized CHING is depressed… he goes on to find out what has happened to him, then CHING tells him the whole story finally. TIM, enraged, finds out SZ and her boyfriend OWEN, by tracking the sender’s address of the parcel. The three people end up in the police station for settlement of their dispute. CHING rushes to the police station and asks OWEN to let TIM go. TIM does not think he has done anything wrong. CHING scolds TIM, he keeps on to point out the wrong things that TIM did in the past… CHING starts working as an auditor in CHI’s company. The people in the company do not get along with CHING well as they think that CHING joins the company because of relationship. Nevertheless, CHING does not care about the gossip at all. LEO brings TSUN home to dinner with TONG. During a chat, LEO and TONG are arguing with each other about the business of Mui Ki Meat Balls. To moderate the conversation, TSUN suggests making the business decision after conducting a market research by CHI’s company… TSUN is delighted to learn that she is pregnant. However, she does not know how to tell LEO. Without knowing TSUN’s concern, CHOI tells LEO’s about the baby. LEO proposes to TSUN immediately, and TSUN giddily accepts. Shortly, LEO brings TSUN home and tells his family that he is going to marry TSUN. WAI worries about her place in the family when learns about TSUN’s pregnancy. TIM carelessly breaks CHING’s electronic organizer. CHI passes by when CHING is scolded by his supervisor. CHI blames CHING for his rudeness towards TIM. CHING starts to think again the way he treats his father… TONG follows up with CHI about the survey result. To CHI’s surprise, he finds TONG…

CHI recognizes TONG is his father by TONG’s watch. Nevertheless, he does not let TONG know it. CHI returns home. TIM realizes CHI is not happy. He asks CHI to understand his father. CHI is touched. CHI conducts a street survey for Mui Ki Meat Balls, TONG comes to see the survey response. CHI cannot stop himself finding out more about TONG, but TONG is not willing to tell his personal things. In fact, TONG keeps searching for his wife and son over the years. It turns out that LEO’s wedding planner JESS is his secret lover. TSUN finally realizes the love relationship between LEO and JESS. She, enraged, dashes out of the bridal shop. She encounters CHI. CHI can tell there is something wrong with TSUN. TSUN tells CHI everything. LEO wants to meet TSUN when he trips to Singapore for business. For the sake of the baby, TSUN is going to forgive LEO. Regrettably, TSUN miscarries when she is on the way home… CHOI goes to the temple and wishes to bring fortune to the family as bad things keep happening recently. She encounters a cheater as she makes her way to the temple. Fortunately, TIM is there to reveal the fraud. HEI is angry as she learns the ridiculous thing CHOI has done. CHOI is leaving home. TIM and CHING help to bring the reconciliation between the mother and daughter. Because of this incident, CHING has growing good feeling towards his father. After a visit to the grave of his wife, TONG is more determined to run the Mui Ki Meat Balls business. He goes back home and finds helpless when his daughter and son are arguing about the business. They even want to give up the business of Mui Ki Meat Balls. CHING is checking the inventory of a grocery store. The boss sends him a fruit hamper as he helps to catch a thief who disguises herself as a pregnant woman. Regrettably, this has aroused negative feelings of the colleagues towards CHING. Nevertheless, CHING does not care about it at all. Later, he loses his watch when he is picking up PUI-PUI after school. HEI finds it and keep it for CHING. HEI asks CHING to come to pick up his watch at the place where she is delivering the goods to. It turns out that BEN is the buyer. HEI is locked up in a warehouse by BEN. Luckily, CHING saves HEI as he can trace her location by his watch.… ...

TSUN finds out the secret of CHI. TONG cannot help himself telling her the whole story. TSUN promises him that she will have a good talk with CHI and hope he would understand TONG’s difficulty. CHI and JIMMY are not getting along with each other as CHI demands JIMMY to enroll another school that he does not like. In the old home, CHING helps TIM packing up his things. The father and son chat about funny old things, and they get more closed to each other. CHI asks MARCO’s help to find JIMMY a new school. In a school interview, JIMMY says that he wants to study in the old school CHI asks JIMMY why he is going against his will. All JIMMY wants is to stay in his old school. CHI cannot accept and he hits JIMMY. JIMMY cries and dashes out. CHING tells CHI he should try to put himself in JIMMY’s shoes. After thorough consideration, CHI discusses with TONG about the school transfer. TONG delightedly promises to help.… ...

CHI and JIMMY are reconciled. To thank TONG for his help, CHI sends him the information about the business transformation of Mui Ki Meat Balls. TONG is delighted to tell his family about Mui Ki’s new direction. LEO and BEN quarrel again as LEO needs BEN to get the problem solved. TONG, enraged, goes back to his bedroom. CHING gets a job promotion as he is making outstanding performance in his company. He is delighted that his boss asks him to give his new colleague training on Lamma Island. On Lamma Island, CHING encounters HEI who fervently invite him home for dinner. On the way home, HEI hints that she has strong feelings of affection towards CHING. However, CHING does not seem to understand her words at all. MARCO starts chasing TSUN, however, TSUN refuses his love, and she just treats him as a friend. In a meeting, TONG wants CHI to take care the business of Mui Ki Meat Balls.… ...

LAN says that CHI’s mother WAN is the one who hurt her marriage. Embarrassingly, CHI leaves. TSUN chases after CHI. CHI tells her that by now he understands why his mother would have died sadly. PUI-PUI wins the champion in a chess competition. In a shopping mall, CHING and HEI are buying PUI-PUI a present. When they are taking photo, CHING accidentally kisses on HEI’s face. Both of them feel embarrassed. HEI puts the photo in her wallet. TIM is delighted to find the photo dropped by CHING accidentally when CHING is catching a thief. The stock price of Lei Hing Wo Group keeps going down since TONG has had treatment in hospital. LEO suggests that TONG should be discharged from the hospital, but TONG refuses. TIM wants to pair CHING off with HEI. HEI is depressed as CHING learns the news of SZ’s return. Immediately, TIM tells CHING about HEI’s love to him.… ...

CHI discusses with TIM about preparing JIMMY an education fund for thirty million dollars. TIM promises that he will help. MARCO does not give up dating TSUN. TSUN wants to make it clear to MARCO again that she is not going to love him anyway. However, it is not easy to refuse MARCO as he seems to have known TSUN so well. It is all because he has asked CHI for opinion before for how to attract TSUN. In fact, TSUN knows that CHI is the one who told MARCO all about her. She meets CHI and asks him to pretend to be her boyfriend. CHING’s colleague BRIAN has lost an electronic organizer in the company. TIM is accuses of stealing it. After investigation, CHEONG’s son is found to have stolen the electronic organizer. CHEONG begs TIM for giving his son a chance. Reluctantly, TIM promises. LAN finds a document about the education fund granting to JIMMY by TONG. Enraged, she goes to CHI’s home to demand for his explanation. CHI feels depressed.… ...

To fill a vacancy, CHI suggests that CHI should be promoted to supervisor of audit department. However, PAUL objects to this and suggests promoting Brian otherwise. To avoid troubles, MARCO passes the issue to the human resources department for final decision. PAUL has growing feeling of hatred towards CHI. By peer influence, PUI-PUI and JIMMY urge for going out alone. Reluctantly, CHI promises to allow them going out. Nevertheless, CHI wants to protect the children, he follows them closely along their way. In the end, PUI-PUI and JIMMY discover they are being followed by CHI. CHING gets promoted. He goes to an art exhibition with HEI together. HEI recalls the memory about her father and she cries. To avoid unnecessary feeling, CHING does not give her much comfort. LEO persuades TONG to return home for recovery treatment. Unfortunately, TONG falls at home and the fall causes his health problem. Immediately, TSUN tells CHI about it.… ...

CHI is relieved to know that TONG’s operation has been successful. He goes to Macau with TSUN together to visit the grave of his mother. He also brings TSUN for sightseeing and fun. After the trip, they have developed special feelings towards each other…HEI helps her friend to get the merchandise for selling. She learns the conversation between EVA and her boyfriend that EVA is going to get money from a rich man. Soon, HEI finds that the rich man according to EVA is BEN. She warns BEN for the possible fraud. Nevertheless, BEN pays no heed to the warning, and falls into the trap eventually. He is being accused of raping EVA. Fortunately, he gets the help from HEI and finally he is free from the trouble. To thank HEI for her help, BEN arranges a meeting with TONG for CHI. As encouraged by CHI, TONG decides to go to Malaysia for taking a good rest. HEI talks happily with BEN. CHING is not happy to see this, then he has quarrel with HEI.… ...

Everyone is delighted to learn that CHING and HEI become lovers. Nevertheless, CHING and HEI do not know how to tell PUI-PUI about their relationship. In fact, PUI-PUI is ready to accept her father’s new relationship. So, all the worries of CHING have gone. TSUN meets CHI at his company together with her assistant IVY. She learns about MARCO’s resignation. Everyone is surprised to learn from IVY the reason behind MARCO’s resignation. MARCO resigns because he wants to move to a foreign country together with TSUN. PAUL gets a higher chance to fill the vacancy of MARCO because of the friendly relationship he has with his boss. To secure his position in the company, CHI works very hard, he brings his work back to home. TSUN goes to CHI’s home and takes care of him. They kiss each other accidentally…BEN asks the help from CHI when preparing the proposal of Mui Ki Meat Balls.… ...

CHI is anxious about his future after his resignation and how to face the accusation. As learnt from IVY the difficulties of CHI, TSUN talks to LEO and hope he can help. Without success, she is being scoffed at by LEO. PAUL formally takes up his duties as the director. CHI worries about his former subordinates will be given a hard time. He makes his resolute effort so that his subordinates are able to gain the trust from PAUL. As referred by MARCO, CHING gets a new job. Suddenly, TONG returned to Hong Kong. He demands LEO to quash the indictment against CHI. LEO does not agree at the beginning, however, he promises his dad to do what he wished upon knowing that his dad is diagnosed with cancer again. Joyfully, CHI hugs TSUN as he learns the indictment is quashed. Because of the hug, CHI and TSUN are getting clear that they really love each other.… ...

To gain JIMMY’s acceptance for TSUN as his stepmother, CHI brings JIMMY and TSUN together during a visit to his mother’s grave. Nevertheless, JIMMY shows strong disapproval, he is afraid that his daddy is not going to love him anymore. To rebuild the business of Mui Ki Meatballs, BEN presents his proposal to LEO. Instead, LEO is planning to sell Mui Ki Meatballs. CHI hopes LAN can help to persuade LEO to change his mind. LEO discloses that as Mui Ki Meatballs was named in the memory of CHI’s mother. Mui Ki’s business is in its critical moment, CHI has no way to turn but to ask LEO to sell the business to him. To play safe, CHI also talks to the new buyer of Mui Ki. At last, CHI succeeds. CHING go out with PUI-PUI and HEI together. On their way home, CHING encounters SZ. SZ wants to have PUI-PUI back and brings her to the U.S. CHING strongly refuses. Then, SZ tells him PUI-PUI is not his daughter.… ...

At home, CHING cannot help himself telling TIM about PUI-PUI, the fact that she is not his daughter. To encourage CHING, TIM tells him about a past story of himself. After listening to the touching story, CHING is determined to have PUI-PUI back. CHI goes travel with JIMMY together. In a conversation, TIM finds that CHING wants to let PUI-PUI go. CHING understands that PUI-PUI will be the one who will suffer if he insists to fight for the custody. So, he decides to let go. CHI owns Mui Ki Meatballs eventually. To bring CHI down, LEO is trying hard to stir up trouble and make CHI daunted. Offensively, LEO says CHI is going to lose all his money. Nevertheless, CHI and the others turn such discouraged words into driving force, that they are even confident to do the job well. At the last moment, CHING lets PUI-PUI know that he is not going to the U.S. But finally, he decides to stay with PUI-PUI and go to the U.S. together.… ...

CHING and PUI-PUI are departing. TIM is extremely sad, nevertheless, he pretends he is not. CHI feels so sorry about TIM. He tells TIM he will treat him as his real father, and JIMMY will be his grandson. To keep his promise, he signs a contract stating that he is TIM’s son now and forever. CHI and TSUN visit TONG’s grave. Unexpectedly, LEO emerges. He scolds CHI fiercely and tells him he will never be a member in the family, he is only an illegitimate son of TONG. LEO wants so much to bring CHI down. LEO receives criticism as the conversation is recorded by a passerby and the video clip is published online. LEO wants to set CHI up…TSUN sends JIMMY to the hospital and rings CHI when she has found JIMMY has got a fever. CHI rushes to the hospital, at the same time, he receives a call about LEO’s attack on Mui Ki Meatballs by launching new packaging and new taste.… ...

TIM gets a severe stroke. Until now, CHI understands that he has put too many concerns on JIMMY and too little on TIM. BEM rushes to the hospital, to deliver CHI the news about the rival company, owned by LEO, launching a similar product. Nevertheless, CHI insists to continue with the new product launch. HEI encounters CHING when he is sending PUI-PUI to school. Frankly, CHING tells her that he has reconciled with SZ. CHING takes care of PUI-PUI after she has returned to Hong Kong. CHI shares his feelings in his blog during TIM’s stay in the hospital. To his surprise, he receives plenty of feedback and attracts media coverage as well. Now, his only wish is that TIM is waking up on his birthday. To celebrate TIM’s birthday, people buy Mui Ki products as many as they can, and soon all the meatballs are sold out. LEO is detained by the police and under investigation regarding the illegal control over the stock market.… ...
