Xavier comes from the army and tells that there is a ball from the army. Carmen is going to buy huge expensive clothes to walk around as the chic lady and she obviously shows that. Bieke has to find a job and Oscar does this behind her back. Thanks to Oscar, Bieke can start working as a secretary at Boma. But she does not want this she has found a job herself. She can start working at Publitime. For this job she needs a car.

Xavier has to leave for a couple day's with the army and because of this Carmen must pay attention to his parakeets. Carmen hates these parakeets and would prefer to turn them into soup.

Doortje argues with Pico because Pico does not really like fatherhood. He does not want to hear anything about becoming a father yet. The next day Doortje hears that she is pregnant and does not dare to tell him.
