The Shins from Portland, Oregon play a selection of tracks from their new critically acclaimed album 'Wincing The Night Away' and Neil Hannon, of Divine Comedy fame delights too. From The Basement begins as it means to go on.

We leave our London base for a trip to Bob Clearmountain's Berkeley Street Studio in Los Angeles for the finale of the first series of From The Basement. Damien Rice loves the experience so much he can't stop smiling. E from The Eels decides to perform a host of incredible new songs, and Autolux decide to follow suit. Architecture In Helsinki are just a delight. It's the end of the beginning.
