Soon-jae finds out that Mun-hee has been getting the money for the maid from both himself and Hae-mi. Joon-ha irritates Soon-jae as well, as he sells off some stock without consulting with Soon-jae. Mun-hee and Joon-ha are both ordered by Soon- jae to submit daily reports from now on. Meanwhile, Min-ho and Yoon-ho fall from the attic while fighting over Min-yong’s watch. Min-ho’s eye is bruised because of this accident.

Hae-mi is enraged as she finds out that Joon-ha has spent ,000 on drinking, through the credit card statement. Joon-ha gathers Min-ho and Yoon-ho up to find a way to tame Hae-mi down. The three plan a special event for Hae-mi. Meanwhile, Shin Ji tries to make Min-jeong comfortable as Min-jeong suffers from gastritis. But in attempt to make some porridge for her, things turn into a disaster. She grates rice in a mixer, making it splatter everywhere, and even ends up pouring the porridge all over Min-jeong.

Yoo-mi’s mom tells Hae-mi that Beom secretly kissed Yoo-mi. Mun-hee and Joon- ha happens to hear this conversation and scolds Beom how he could do such a thing to his friend’s girlfriend. Meanwhile, Yoon-ho goes to school to run an errand for Min-yong and overhears Min-jeong speaking to the assistant principal that she won’t be a homeroom teacher this year.

As a celebrity on TV says that he would marry the same woman in her next life, Hae- mi asks Mun-hee whether she would marry Soon-jae in her next life. But Mun-hee doesn’t answer, and Soon-jae starts following Mun-hee around asking questions. Meanwhile, Min-jeong keeps running into Min-yong at school, but she tries to act like she’s fine. She tries her best to act comfortably around him, but becomes upset when Min-yong moves to a desk further away from her in the school office.

Min-ho wins first place from the French competition. Mun-hee is proud of Min-ho and keeps making him his favorite dish, but Soon-jae scolds her that he would get sick of it. Then, Mun-hee hears that Hae-mi’s mother will be attending Min-ho’s award ceremony as well, which makes her a bit nervous. Meanwhile, Min-yong becomes Yoo-mi’s homeroom teacher and scolds her for coming late to school. He even points out every dress-code violation on her and tells her to submit a report on why she was late.

Hae-mi shows Mun-hee a picture of Min-yong and Min-jeong together. Seeing this, Mun-hee nags Min-yong whether he’s going out with Min-jeong or not, and Min- yong becomes furious with Hae-mi, warning her that he’s looking for a chance to get back at her. Watching how Min-ho gets money for books from Hae-mi, Yoon-ho tries the same thing, but it doesn’t work. He complains how she favors Min-ho over him, and he also gets in trouble at school for something he didn’t actually do.

Soon-jae suggests buying more shares of Chang-dong Corporation, but Joon-ha tells him that he already switched over to Byeong-gun Pharmaceuticals since he happened to acquire confidential information. Soon-jae scolds Joon-ha that will he probably screw up again. But the next day! Byeong-gun Pharmaceuticals hits the ceiling. The new track coach, Yoon Gi-won, arrives at Poong-pa High School. He’s so impatient that he starts a day earlier at school, and at first sight, he asks Min-jeong on a date saying that he’s fallen for her.

Several students of the Poong-pa High School are gathered to be filmed in the school promotional video. While the crew gets ready to film, Min-ho, Beom, and the rest of the kids are busy studying, as an exam is coming up. But Yoon-ho and Yoo- mi, who have no intention to study, decide to kill time together. Meanwhile, Shin Ji gets a call from a musical director for an audition. She goes to meet him at a coffee shop, but he turns out to have quite an odd character.

Mun-hee suddenly faints while washing clothes. Even while she loses her conscious, she notices Hae-mi slapping her cheeks to wake her up and isn’t pleased. When she wakes up again, she is moved by the sight of the family members crying over her. Meanwhile, Yoo-mi comes to Min-ho with a bag full of CDs. Yoo-mi explains that it’ s her mom’s music album that completely failed and asks Min-ho to sell some for her to at least make up for the production fee.

Yoo-mi vents out on Min-ho after getting scolded by Min-yong. Min-ho asks Min- yong if he can try being a little nicer to Yoo-mi, but Min-yong refuses to and Min-ho gets mad. In the meantime, Yoon-ho gets mad at Min-yong, too, because Min-yong sells off his motorcycle. Joon-ha makes ,000 as the stock he bought through his friend hits the roof. With that, he tells Soon-jae and Mun-hee that he’ll buy them presents, but Mun-hee refuses telling him to save the money.

Soon-jae tells Joon-ha that Dae-geun took his pen he got from the Presidential Mansion. Dae-geun ends up giving back the pen because of Joon-ha, but in return, he suggests to Soon-jae that they have their sons compete against each other in Korean wrestling, Ssireum. Meanwhile, Min-jeong and Shin Ji scratch a car in the parking lot while on their way back from the supermarket. Noticing the car is an expensive imported car, Shin Ji suggests they flee from the scene.

Hae-mi is to receive an award from the Oriental Medicine Doctor Association. As Joon-ha is scheduled to go out of town, he tells Yoon-ho to go to the award ceremony with flowers. Yoon-ho complains about having to go, until he sees a model wearing a suit in a magazine and starts nagging Joon-ha for a suit to wear to the ceremony. Meanwhile, Mun-hee is annoyed by Soon-jae as he ignores her when she asks him to give her a massage or scratch her back.

Hae-mi hears from Yoon-ho that Min-jeong and Min-yong has broken up. She realizes they really are over as she checks Min-yong’s cell phone and wonders what could have caused the break-up. Meanwhile, Min-jeong talks to a friend on the phone and acts like she’s over Min- yong saying that she won’t cry over a divorced guy who has nothing special about himself. However, Min-yong happens to hear this conversation, and Min-jeong tells Shin Ji that she should die out of remorse.

Soon-jae is glad to read that Mrs. Kaesung-daek has been sentenced for life in prison on a newspaper. The family members tell him that she must have a grudge against him since he reported her breakout to the police twice, and that she probably hates him for it. Then, Soon-jae receives a letter from Mrs. Kaesung-daek. Yoon-ho is upset as he’s accused for bothering Min-ho studying, and declares that he’ll find his own place. He ends up setting up a tent in the living room.

Soon-jae threatens Joon-ha that if he farts one more time, he’ll punch through his anus. As Joon-ha farts again, Soon-jae pokes Joon-ha’s butt and Joon-ha screams out of pain. Meanwhile, Min-jeong finds out that Min-yong and Shin Ji were actually together the other night out looking for her. Min-jeong remembers Hae-mi telling her how she would never give up on someone she really has feelings for, and contemplates what to do.

As Mun-hee spots flowers on the way back from the market, she screams of joy that spring has arrived. The family members worry that Mun-hee’s spring fever has begun once again. And they are right: she begins going on spring picnics, having Shin Ji baby-sit Jun-ee. Watching Yoo-mi being scolded by Min-yong because of her terrible grades, Min- ho wishes that Yoo-mi were just a little smarter. Then, Min-ho witnesses something very shocking at Yoo-mi’s house as he visits to run an errand for his mom.

Except Hae-mi, who has the flu, the rest of the family members go to Jeju Island to attend a wedding, and they tell Min-yong to take care of her while they are away. Meanwhile, Min-ho, Yoon-ho, and Beom go to Min-jeong’s house because Min- jeong forgot to give back their cell phones she took from them at school. They meet Shin Ji on their way and ask her for a ride.

Mun-hee and Jun-ha get mad that Soon-jae and Hae-mi break their promise to take them out for dinner to a barbeque restaurant. Mun-hee decides to go to Soon-jae to ask him for money, so at least she and Joon-ha can go out by themselves. When she arrives at the clinic, she finds Hae-mi speaking in Russian so skillfully, and she becomes envious. Meanwhile, Min-yong calls for Yoo-mi to come see him at the school’s office because her grades are again the lowest in class since exams. But as Min-yong begins chasing her with a stick in his hand, Yoo-mi becomes scared and starts to run.

On their way back from eating together, Mun-hee and Shin Ji run into relatives including their granduncle. Granduncle is happy to see Shin Ji, not aware of the fact that Min-yong and Shin Ji has divorced. Unable to turn down his invitation, Shin Ji has no choice but to go home with him. Meanwhile, Yoo-mi gives Min-ho the costume they wore at the broadcasting club event as a gift on their 100th day anniversary. Dressed up as a cute fox, Yoo-mi gives Min-ho a costume for the Little Prince, saying the costume is a couple’s costume.

Singer Ivy makes an appointment to get treated at Soon-jae’s clinic. Seeing Joon-ha get so excited and eager to get her autograph, Soon-jae asks him who Ivy is and Joon-ha shows Soon-jae her picture from the internet. Meanwhile, Min-jeong is worried about Chan-seong as he doesn’t show up at school without any notice. As Yoon-ho gives Min-jeong the phone number of the kid who is close with Chan-seong, he sees a picture of Min-yong and Min-jeong fall out of Min-jeong’s planner, and gets angry at her asking why she still has Min-yong’ s picture with her.

Min-yong hears about Hae-mi’s legendary drinking habits from Joon-ha. Although Hae-mi never really got drunk bad, Joon-ha tells him that once in college, she got so drunk and made a scene that the whole school became to know about it. After hearing this story, Min-yong’s curiosity kicks in. Meanwhile, Min-jeong goes to see Soon-jae as she feels pain in her lower abdomen. Soon-jae recommends chi exercises to her and gives her the exercise videotape.

Yoon-ho sighs as he looks around the motorcycles displayed at the shop, since he lost his chance of riding one as Min-yong took away the motorcycle he had borrowed from a friend. Then, Yoon-ho hears about how Chan-seong made some money by filming a commercial through a model agency, and asks him to introduce him to the agency. Meanwhile, Beom is startled when Yoo-mi wakes up while he watches her sleep. As Yoo-mi makes fun of him asking if he was trying to kiss her again, Beom feels bad.

Beom gives Min-yong a memory card saying it’s from their next-door neighbor. Min- yong can’t help but feel amused as he checks what the contents of the memory card is. What’s in there is pictures of Hae-mi’s feces. Hae-mi asks for the memory card when she finds out, but Min-yong refuses, saying it’ll serve as leverage to protect himself. Meanwhile, Yoon-ho saves Chan-seong from bad kids who try to bully him. Ever since, Chan-seong follows around Yoon-ho saying he is his best friend.

Soon-jae feels the need to take special measures, as Min-yong refuses to play Korean chess with him, Joon-ha just keeps watching television when he comes home, and Min-ho and Yoon-ho continue to quarrel with each other. The special measure is to have everyone wear uniforms with back numbers referring to each person’s rank in the house. Meanwhile, Yoo-mi and Beom meet the new practice teacher Kwon Oh-joong as they stop by the broadcasting room. Yoo-mi is confident that Oh-joong is a ghost as she finds his picture in the notebook she found cleaning the broadcasting room the day before.

Poong-pa High School’s students go on a school trip to Sorak Mountain. Mun-hee feels bad for Min-yong as he goes on the trip without getting a chance to celebrate his birthday. As Min-yong departs in the later group since he had to visit a house in mourning the night before, he meets Shin Ji who happens to be on her way to a place nearby, and gets to rides with her. Meanwhile, Beom is to join the school trip a day later as he attends his great grand mother’s 100th birthday party. He says he’ll spend the night over at Min-ho’s house since his house is filled with visiting relatives. But as he wakes up thirsty in the middle of the night, he happens to drink wine, mistaking if for water.

Shin Ji draws up courage and tells Min-yong that she wants to get back with him, but is startled to find out that someone’s been hiding in the curtain and closet. So she pretends to laugh it off saying that it was a joke and escapes from the room. Meanwhile, Mun-hee’s homework from her cooking class is to bake a cake with her husband and bring a picture of it to class. Mun-hee tries to lure Soon-jae into helping her with the homework, but Soon-jae brushes her off saying he’s tired.

Soon-jae is captured by some gangsters out of the blue in front of his clinic. He finds out that they want him to cure their boss who’s having a back problem. It turns out that they’ve watched the documentary program about Soon-jae on TV and have mistaken him to be a very famous oriental medicine doctor. Meanwhile, Yoon-ho spots Min-jeong and Min-yong walking together in a lovey- dovey mood. Then, Poong-pa High School students are to participate in a survival game, separated in teams.

Soon-jae receives a suspicious letter with his clinic’s 40th anniversary ceremony just around the corner. The letter turns out to be from an angry patient who claims that his or her mouth has been disfigured because of Soon-jae, and threatens that he or she will throw eggs at the ceremony. Min-ho and his friends who are in need of money volunteer to be Soon-jae’s bodyguards for that day. Meanwhile, Min-jeong cancels her date with Min-yong because of a friend’s wedding she needs to attend, but a few moments later, she calls him out again as she decides not to go to the wedding. But then, she plays a joke on Min-yong saying she will need to go to the wedding.

Dressed in their uniforms, guys of the Lee family run into Dae-geun’s family. Dae- geun insults them that the guys of the Lee family are good for nothing. This makes the guys infuriated, and gets them to convince Soon-jae to make another chance to compete with Dae-geun’s family. Meanwhile, Mun-hee hears from her cleaning lady that Hae-mi has referred to her as being cute, and she becomes mad thinking what an inappropriate comment that is to make at a mother-in-law. As Mun-hee looks through her closet looking for her sewing kit, she finds a mothball and smiles as something pops in her mind.

So Yoo-jin is the temporary cleaning person at Soon-jae’s house. Soon-jae and Joon-ha are both charmed by her cute and cheerful personality. Then, as she jams her finger in a door, they volunteer to do the blanket laundry Yoo-jin is supposed to do. Meanwhile, Shin Ji finds a fountain pen in her suitcase as she packs. That fountain pen was a gift from Min-yong when he came back from his trip from Europe a couple years back. As she opens the pen to fill it with ink, she finds a note inside.

Young-gi’s mom is all dressed-up, and Soon-jae compliments her saying that she looks younger than Mun-hee. Mun-hee is upset by this and insists that she could appear 20 years younger if she decides to dress up, but Soon-jae laughs at her. Meanwhile, as Yoon-ho keeps gives Min-yong a hard time after Min-yong taking his motorcycle away, Min-jeong tells Yoon-ho that she’ll grant him one wish if he improves his class rank by 50 on the upcoming exam.

Hae-mi learns from Soon-jae that Min-yong is looking for an oriental medicine doctor who’ll appear on a television program of his friend. She tries to talk to Min-yong that she can do it, but Min-yong keeps ignoring her and cuts her out whenever she tries to speak to him. Meanwhile, Yoo-mi has an argument with Boem. She gets so mad that she tells Min- ho that he needs to stop seeing Beom if he wants to keep going out with her. Even Beom says that Min-ho must choose one of the two, leaving Min-ho not knowing what to do.

As Mun-hee stops by Shin Ji’s apartment to pick up Joon-ee, she spots Shin Ji playing Korean Poker on the internet and suggests they play a game together. Just then, Yoo-mi stops by too, and the three start playing all together. Meanwhile, Min-jeong is upset as Min-yong calls her later than he was supposed to, so in order to appear tough, she demands that he come pick her up. As Min- yong says OK without any trouble, she’s delighted thinking that she can have her way if she continues with the attitude.

Once again, the guys of the Lee family go hiking on the weekend with their uniforms on. Min-yong wonders if this is really necessary and detests the fact that he has to take part. Meanwhile, Mun-hee asks Hae-mi to wash some lettuce since her ankle is sprained, but Hae-mi leaves the house with the excuse that she isn’t feeling well. Mun-hee gets on the phone with Young-gi’s mom and starts complaining about Hae- mi, but Hae-mi happens to overhear the conversation.

Joon-ha decides to work with a friend and open an office of their own. The place is named Jang & Lee Investment Consulting, and is located right outside of Soon-jae’s clinic. Mun-hee is so delighted to watch Joon-ha go to work in the morning along with Soon-jae, Hae-mi, and Min-yong. With the sports day coming up, Min-ho makes a list of people who will be participating in each of the events. As Min-ho asks for a volunteer to take part in the three-legged race competition with Min-jeong, their teacher, Seung-hyeon volunteers that he will.

Mun-hee gets a bunch of handed-down toys from relatives. Min-yong looks through the toys and starts fooling around with a toy bow and arrow. Then just as Hae-mi walks in, he shoots her with it pretending it’s an accident. Meanwhile, Min-ho and Beom rushes down to the room from the attic to watch a VCD they borrowed. It’s a while before they realize that they’ve left Joon-ee alone in the attic.

Joon-ha finds a letter that is from a man named Lee Young-cheol while cleaning the room, and thinks about whether to read it or not, but decides not to. Then, at the hair salon, Joon-ha is in shock as he overhears Yoo-mi’s mom gossiping that Hae-mi married Joon-ha only out of spite after getting dumped by Young-cheol. Meanwhile, Min-jeong can’t believe her eyes as she looks through the alumni newsletter with her and Shin Ji’s picture from middle school in it.

Beom accidentally breaks the liquor bottle Soon-jae preciously keeps. Soon-jae is infuriated and Beom runs away, unable to come even near the house from then on. Min-ho tries to speak to Soon-jae on behalf of Beom. Meanwhile, Mun-hee and Shin Ji happen to run into each other and end up having a drink together. Mun-hee gets in a good mood and mentions that she wishes Shin Ji and Min-yong would get back together.

As the family members seem to come into the attic all they want, Min-yong sets up a video camera in the corner of his room before he goes to bed. The next day, he checks the footage and sees people come and go even while he sleeps and finds out even Hae-mi checks his cell phone. So Min-yong decides to block the hole of the pole. Meanwhile, Yoon-ho sneaks in the teachers’ office to find his motorcycle key, but hides himself in the cabinet as he hears someone approaching. But in the cabinet, he finds a girl named Hye-mi, already hiding in there.

Soon-jae is so happy to receive a letter from Kyeong-hwa. He reads the letter with even tears filling up his eyes, but hides the letter in a hurry as Mun-hee and Joon- ha walk in. A while later, Mun-hee finds the letter in Soon-jae’s pants and gets mad. Meanwhile, Min-jeong decides to take Min-yong with her to meet her friends. She gets excited imagining herself proudly introducing Min-yong to her friends, but Min- yong has an emergency and is unable to go with her.

Yoo-mi finds Mun-hee playing Korean Poker on the internet and tells her that playing on the net isn’t half as fun as playing with actual cards. So Mun-hee suggests they play together, but Mun-hee keeps losing to Yoo-mi. Meanwhile, Joon-ha thinks of Shin Ji as Cheol-ho asks him to find a commercial song-writer for their advertisement on cable TV. Though busy with her new work, Shin Ji can’t let down Joon-ha and decides to take the job.

Seeing Yoo-mi’s mom sing her song on cable TV, Soon-jae frowns saying what a terrible song it is. But as all the other family members seem to like it and even sing along, Soon-jae becomes mad and declares that the song is banned from his household. Meanwhile, Min-ho gets bullied by another kid and asks Yoon-ho to teach him self- defense moves, so he won’t get bullied anymore.

The security alarm goes off by accident in the middle of the night, making all the family members rush outside. But Soon-jae is left inside the house as he was in the bathroom at that time, and upset by the fact that no one came for his rescue. He scolds Joon-ha in particular. Meanwhile, Min-yong is addicted to a computer game and can’t seem to do anything else. Even on his way out to meet Min-jeong, he notices he’s about to loose one of his items and gets absorbed back into the game.

Soon-jae’s heart starts pounding when he sees Mun-hee back from the hair salon with a new hairstyle. From then on, his heart keeps pounding whenever he sees Mun-hee and Soon-jae worries there’s something wrong with himself. But Min-yong teases Soon-jae that he must have fallen for Mun-hee. Meanwhile, Yoo-mi’s mom and dad come visit Joon-ha’s new office. Joon-ha gets an eerie feeling about Yoo-mi’s dad looking around the office.

Meanwhile, Hae-mi is called on to come to school as Yoon-ho gets in a fight.

Hae-mi wakes Min-yong early in the morning that the whole family should go out and eat together. Min-yong unwillingly joins the family, but is dumbfounded as he sees everyone who initially wanted to go out for barbeque get persuaded by Hae-mi and change the menu to sashimi. Meanwhile, as Yoon-ho finds out that a rumor has been going around that Hye-mi is his girlfriend, he confronts her on why she started a false rumor.

Hae-mi happens to read Joon-ha’s credit card statement while looking through the mail. She finds out that Joon-ha has gone to a strip club again and tells Soon-jae, and Joon-ha ends up running around in his underwear to get away from them. Meanwhile, just as the bus that they’ve been waiting for together arrives, Min-yong goes to buy some coffee and Min-jeong becomes nervous that the bus might take off without him. Min-yong gets on the bus just as the bus is about to take away, but brags that it was nothing to worry about to begin with.

While playing Korean chess with Mr. Kim of the real estate, Soon-jae finds out that the deposit Joon-ha paid was not ,000 as he said, but actually ,000. Joon-ha insists that it was his friend Cheol-ho, who paid the remaining amount, and even says that he’d take a bow every three steps he makes if he’s telling a lie. Meanwhile, Seung-hyeon tries picking a fight with Yoon-ho, but steps on a shovel and hits himself, and gets into a series of following accidents. But Yoon-ho is mistaken for beating up Seung-hyeon and is called to the teachers’ office.

On the night before he leaves, Hae-mi speaks of the time when she once went for training to the United States and Joon-ha terribly missed her, but finds Joon-ha falling asleep on her. Meanwhile, Yoo-mi comments how she loathes Hye-mi and that she won’t let it go if Hye-mi ever annoys her. Then, Hye-mi accidentally bumps into Yoo-mi in the hallway.

As she goes up to Min-yong’s room to get Joon-ee’s stuff, Shin Ji happens to overhear Hae-mi talking about her. Shin Ji becomes upset as Hae-mi says Shin Ji should look into a different career since she doesn’t seem to be getting anywhere. Meanwhile, Min-yong hears Min-jeong telling her parents on the phone that she can’t go see them because she’s busy. Min-yong tells Min-jeong that he’s getting tired of seeing her everyday, and suggests they part early after eating lunch.

Min-yong and Min-jeong are on a date and as they walk into a coffee shop, they run into Joon-ha, who’s having a meeting with an investor. Min-yong is frustrated that once Joon-ha tells Hae-mi, the whole family will become to know of his relationship with Min-jeong. Meanwhile, Hae-mi is upset seeing Min-ho get pushed around by Yoo-mi. Then, Hye-mi, who tags along Chan-seong to the house, introduces herself to Hae-mi as Yoon-ho’s girlfriend.

Mun-hee starts taking English classes in preparation for the family’s trip to the United States for a wedding next month. Joon-ha says that he and Soon-jae can’t speak English that well either, but Hae-mi argues that Soon-jae is good at English making Soon-jae feel uneasy. Meanwhile, Min-yong is dumbfounded spotting Yoo-mi shopping for clothes at a store after skipping school. The next day, Min-yong demands for her parent’s phone numbers to Yoo-mi, insisting that he should have a word with one of them about her.

But Min-ho’s family doesn’t let the puppy live inside the house, so the two make a dog house on the rooftop and name the puppy Beom-min after one syllable from each of their names. Meanwhile, as Yoon-ho has hamburgers with Min-jeong, he is happy to see that Min-jeong is wearing the hairpin he gave her as a gift.

He declares that he will be presenting the “Lee Soon-jae Award” to the most outstanding person of all family members including hanger-ons for that week. Meanwhile, Joon-ha runs into Min-jeong and Shin Ji at a coffee shop. Shin Ji speaks about how her friend made a lot of money on stock and asks Joon-ha to make a high profit with her new contract money. So Joon-ha ends up managing both Shin Ji and Min-jeong’s money.

Meanwhile, Min-ho tells on a teacher as Seung-hyeon comes to school riding a motorcycle. After getting scolded by a teacher, Seung-hyeon comes to see Min-ho for revenge.

Enraged, Soon-jae declares that he won’t allow the hanger-ons behave like actual family members from now on. Meanwhile, Min-jeong is worried that Seung-hyeon missed school for the past couple days. Then, Min-jeong is delighted to see Seung-hyeon finally come to school, and Yoon-ho becomes upset seeing that.

Spotting Min-yong’s car, Yoo-mi scribbles ‘mad dog’ on it, but is caught by Min-yong on the spot, who was inside the car.

Meanwhile, Mun-hee runs into her childhood friend Sook-ja on the street. Sook-ja mentions that she saw Dae-geun a while ago and says that he used to have feelings for Mun-hee.

Mun-hee gets mad and tells Soon-jae to have a talk with Hae-mi how inappropriate it is to speak to her mother-in-law like that. Meanwhile, Hye-mi finds out that Yoon-ho doesn’t get very good grades and asks why he’s been acting like he was better than her. Then she suggests a bet that they officially start dating if she gets better grades than him on the next exam.
