Joe is incensed to learn his mum is back with his drunken, violent dad; there's no way he's going home for the summer now. Sophie is fuming when she discovers Mel passed out on the couch with just a half-eaten kebab for company. Nicole's tedious day at Washed Up is brightened up by the whirlwind return of Nancy.

Becca's wedding fantasy is no expense spared; Frankie's reality is £287.76. Bombhead is pleased to receive a belated birthday card from Lee, but he's careful not to show the Hunters, not wanting to draw attention to the fact they've forgotten his birthday. Mel is petrified when she's called in for her STI test results.

Russ is determined to get one up on Andy, and sets him a swimming challenge, which Andy gladly takes up.
