But Wisconsin police were suspicious of Todd's responses in the interrogation room, when his story continued to change, and his alibi didn't check out. Forensic details from the autopsy report cast further doubt on his story.

Then, gunshots rang out, glass shattered, and after 911 was called from inside the house, more shots were fired; Amanda and Lindy, a mother of three, were both dead, and Rachel was injured. (Lamar had run before the shooting as he knew he was the target.) The gunman took off before police arrived.
