Frank needs a job and a place to stay and his uncle Dave makes him a deal ... he can live at the Pit as long as he's willing to be superintendent. Lucille and Ernie decide to try to have a baby. Jan goes out to a concert with Wade, causing Mack to rethink his feelings for her.

Frank gets Dave to listen to Wade's band, but Dave says he'll only sign them without Frank as a songwriter. Jan tries to study for the LSAT but a mouse has invaded their apartment.

Teena wants back in just as Frank and Annie decide to try again. Mack takes Jan on a trip to the neighbourhood where he grew up.
