Meanwhile, Raffi gets suspicious, and believes that someone is messing with her. So not only does Liam and Birch have to hide their secret from Sandra, but Raffi as well.

Pod 4 is nominated for "Pod of the Month" by their teacher. Amelia is extremely jealous because her pod is normally "Pod of the Month", and she tries to jeopardize their chances by turning them against each other. Doing so, she finds Birch's drawings about the other members of her pod (titled "Pod Life"). The drawings consisted of Sandra, Liam and Raffi looking like terrible people. Amelia asks to get the pictures published on the school newspaper, causing pod 4 to turn against Birch.

The pod has a project to raise money for a charity. The first idea was to raffle off tickets to spend a "comic day" with Liam. Since all the girls at the school like Raffi a lot better, Sandra and Birch decide to make a rafting date with Raffi the first place prize, and the comic day with Liam, second. Their school has a strict "no gambling" rule, so they all have to sneak around to sell the tickets. Furious, Liam decides to help the Principal with busting his pod for breaking the rules.

Sandra and Birch don't like the idea of reducing girls to a bunch of symbols, and manage to get the other girls on board. They lock her in the bathroom, but she pretends that there is a rat in the bathroom and when they come in to get it, she locks them in. But because Birch is doing so well, Mr. Towes blocks her from coming back. When the whole thing is over, Amelia is very angry with Zeke for helping Pod 4 and chases him through the night.
