It's a close call when Lou arrives to collect the rent and finds a strange backpacker in the house, but the boys tell him he is friend of Joel's from overseas. Geri denies she is involved in a radio kickbacks scheme, despite the fact she is driving a zippy new sports car. When Libby learns of this, she vows to put an end to Geri's conniving ways.

Meanwhile, Toadie puts two and two together and realises Brendan was driving recklessly and that the collision has more to do with his culpable driving than a mere accident.
