JAWS really set the bar high for shark movies back in 1975, and THE MEG tries to bring the shark genre into a new generation. It does this by basically having Jason Statham fight a 70 foot long prehistoric Megalodon shark in hand-to-hand combat. With a description like that, how did this movie manage to drop the ball? Why did the whole basis of his character make no sense? How did he “see” a giant shark BEFORE it was set free from the Mariana Trench? Why don’t we get to see a shark for like 45 minutes of the movie? Why does it feel like a high budget version of Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus or Sharknado?

The latest attempt is called ‘The Predator’ and it stars Boyd Holbrook and Olivia Munn. A LOT of questionable decisions went into making this movie. Why does that Predator want to help humans. What’s up with the weird global warming message and Super Predators? Why does shooting a Predator dog in the head make it your best friend?

Wade AKA Parzival teamed up with Olivia AKA Art3mis to take on the big bad guys from I.O.I in order to go on an Easter Egg hunt. This movie raises a WHOLE lot of questions. What’s up with the inconsistent VR tech? Why did Halliday try to get people to go into the real world by making them dive into the world of VR? What’s up with the thousands of pop culture references? Why are I.O.I. and Nolan Sorento considered super evil when the OASIS is ALREADY profiting off of gamers and taking over their lives?

The Nun is a spin-off of a sequel, so right off the bat you KNOW it’s gonna be good. Based on the popular Conjuring series by James Wan, the Nun takes us to Romania in 1952 to show us the origin story of… you guessed it-- The Nun. Sister Irene, Father Burke and Frenchie spend an unnecessary amount of time investigating the suicide of a nun as an EVIL nun plays super spooky pranks on them, but doesn’t kill them for some reason.

In terms of kids movies, Coraline is pretty much at the top of the list of the creepiest out there. So how did the movie come to be? Why is it is so weird and creepy? What’s up with Other Mother agreeing to vague plot device games? Or creating entities that have free will and an understanding of good and evil?

Or X-23 only using her powers AFTER Gabriela is killed by the Reavers? Or the secret barrier that makes Canada incredibly safe?
