Why We’re Here: 15 Years of Rooster Teeth provides unprecedented access inside Rooster Teeth, the pioneering studio behind Red vs. Blue, RWBY, and Achievement Hunter. Founded in a spare bedroom in 2003, the company’s roots in “machinima”—animated shorts made using video games—found a loyal following before the existence of YouTube, and grew into a supportive community of millions. In the early days, if a community member made something cool, Rooster Teeth hired them.
