1x1 - Episode 1

KO TSUN-KIN, a sniper and trainer of the Special Duties Unit (SDU), is under orders to keep a close watch on the drug cartels of the Golden Triangle. During an operation to knock down the targets by the SDU, one of the bandits reportedly escapes, and is later intercepted by an inspector of the Crime Unit, SHEUNG KOON MING-CHU. However, such unauthorized action prompts dissatisfaction from her superior. TSUN-KIN's elder brother TSUN-SHEK, who is a senior manager of an insurance company, has been persuading him to change his career, yet TSUN-KIN is so committed to his career as a police officer that he says nothing to this. Sharpshooter LEE HO-YEUNG runs into an arrogant shooter in the shooting association. Being a supercilious person himself, HO-YEUNG teaches his opponent a lesson by showing off his superb shooting skill right away. At the invitation of his Shifu SHEUNG KOON TIM, HO-YEUNG goes to his home for dinner.… ...

MING-CHU and TSUN-KIN go to the place where the sniper hid in search of clues, and TSUN-KIN thinks that the sniper possesses excellent shooting skills. The identity of HO-YEUNG, a yacht merchant, is very mysterious, and he has a lot of guns hidden in a secret chamber of his home. Having convinced a drug dealer to turn as state's witness, MING-CHU decides solely that the Crime Unit should escort the criminal on their own. However, the killer takes advantage of this. MING-CHU then goes to the shooting association to vent her anger by practising shooting with HO-YEUNG. Later on, HO-YEUNG gets to know LAI CHUN, who just won the championship of the Women's shooting competition. Seeing that YEUK-LING ends up eating some leftover food from a client's plate in order to save expenses, TSUN-KIN makes some excuses to treat her to a meal.… ...

TSUN-KIN and MING-CHU at invitation go to visit the practical shooting competition, where LAI CHUN wins the championship because of her accurate and neat shooting skills. During the award presentation ceremony, LAI CHUN, in front of the Commissioner of Police, raises that she would like to join the SDU. Shortly after joining the SDU, LAI CHUN is discriminated against by her co-workers and her physical fitness is far inferior to her team members. HO-YEUNG receives a phone call from the head of a criminal syndicate, TING SHEUNG-SIN, who informs HO-YEUNG that someone was sent by the drug cartels of the Golden Triangle to Hong Kong, attempting to assess fault and blame for the death of their right-hand man. Having had a narrow escape, SHEUNG-SIN intends to step down, whereas his daughter TING HAU has always been ambitious, attempting to take over SHEUNG-SIN's criminal syndicate.… ...

While HO-YEUNG is having dinner with MING-CHU and TSUN-KIN, he comes under attack from heavy machine gun fire from the drug cartel, causing MING-CHU and TSUN-KIN become embroiled in the gun battle. As such, MING-CHU misconstrues herself to be the drug dealers' target. SHEUNG-SIN's son, TING FUNG, returns from overseas. Knowing that TING FUNG is against his money laundering business, SHEUNG-SIN promises to let TING FUNG run his other legitimate business such as his finance and real estate business. Not wanting her co-workers to underestimate her, LAI CHUN increases her training but she overdoes it so that she even fails the shooting training that she was good at. YEUK-SUM is dismissed after arguing with her client, so YEUK-LING and TSUN-KIN try to comfort her, during which YEUK-SUM reveals YEUK-LING and her miserable past experience to TSUN-KIN.… ...

MING-CHU asks TSUN-KIN to accompany her to attend the alumni gathering, and it turns out that she is the only one who is not married yet. Once again, TSUN-KIN is trying to help solve problems for YEUK-SUM who just lost her job. He thinks that YEUK-SUM could start her career by opening an upstairs cafe. Considering that opening a new shop requires a large sum of money, TSUN-KIN decides to participate in the practical shooting competition as soon as he knows that there will be an abundant prize this time for the winner. LAI CHUN complains to TSUN-KIN as she is quite upset that TSUN-KIN did not send her to the front line for operations, so TSUN-KIN arranges a competition between LAI-CHUN and other three team members. HO-YEUNG infiltrates a mini warehouse for investigation and suddenly sees YEUK-LING there. YEUK-LING takes out a diamond ring, recalling her romance with her late boyfriend.… ...

HO-YEUNG gets a score higher than TSUN-KIN and wins the championship by doing a complicated jump-shot, however, the judges consider what HO-YEUNG has done is against the regulation, and deprives him of the championship. After the two of them return home, coincidentally, they both recall the past when HO-YEUNG left the police force. In order to raise capital and gain SHEUNG-SIN's recognition, TING HAU starts colluding with gangs from the Eastern Europe, above which she even thinks SHEUNG-SIN shows favoritism to TING FUNG. With the help from the real estate agent, YEUK-LING and YEUK-SUM find a property to rent for their coffee shop. During her training, LAI CHUN senses that TSUN-KIN is a fairly authentic trainer, which totally changes her impression of him. With an armed robbery taking place at a bank, the robbers take many people hostage, including HO-YEUNG. The SDU and Crime Unit then rush to the scene.… ...

The robbers shoot at TSUN-KIN as soon as they spot the location where he is hiding, so TSUN-KIN is forced to retreat. Thinking that was due to her error, LAI CHUN feels very guilty. For fear that the robbers would harm the hostages, the police agree to arrange transportation for them. Unexpectedly, owing to HO-YEUNG's intervention, the robbers start killing people. With HO-YEUNG resisting the robbers, the SDU assault team also bursts in, yet only to find out that the robbers have already been killed by HO-YEUNG, who thus becomes the centre of public attention. TSUN-KIN and HO-YEUNG go to SHEUNG KOON TIN's home for dinner, and the three of them talk with each other in harmony. Apparently, TSUN-KIN is not at all furious at being upstaged by HO-YEUNG. YEUK-LING and YEUK-SUM's coffee shop is finally open for business.… ...

MING-CHU tails after TING HAU on her own, noticing that the latter meets up with two foreigners from Eastern Europe. In order to keep their suspects under surveillance more effectively, the Crime Unit seeks aid from the SDU. TSUN-KIN learns that YEUK-SUM and YEUK-LING have been constantly harassed by some hooligans, which gravely impacts their business, so he brings all the team members of the SDU to patronize their shop, resulting in being misconstrued that YEUK-LING is his girlfriend. YEUK-LING receives a phone call from a finance company, informing her that her loan application has been granted. Later on she finds out that HO-YEUNG is her guarantor. TSUN-SHEK's son FAI-TING ditches class because he gets bored by the tuition classes, whereas YEUK-LING senses that FAI-TING was just feeling lonely. Ever since she failed the mission, LAI CHUN has been blaming herself and gets stuck in that mood.… ...

While the SDU and Crime Unit keep the two suspects from Eastern Europe under surveillance round the clock, TSUN-KIN, via his sniper rifle, sees them loading heavy machine guns and a massive quantity of explosive materials. For fear of implicating the citizens, MING-CHU abandons the arrest action. Once again, TING HAU invites HO-YEUNG to join them to ensure the successful execution of her project, but is turned down. Having received information of possible terrorist attacks on an auction, MING-CHU together with her co-workers go to find out what is going on. All of a sudden, an alarm bell goes off. It turns out that some armed criminals breaks into the seminar on Natural Gas Development held in the old centre, and they take government officials from many other countries and company representatives as hostages. On her way to the scene, MING-CHU is blown off by a bomb planted by the criminals and lapses into a coma.… ...

The SDU team wins the championship due to LAI CHUN's excellent performance, and LAI CHUN admits that she was just following HO-YEUNG's instructions. Someone breaks into YEUK-LING's home to steal, which afterwards triggers some of the bad memories of her past experience, so she cannot sleep. On her way to work, YEUK-LING suddenly is taken hostage by a masked man. Fortunately, TSUN-KIN appears and rescues her. Apart from applying to the SDU for a long vacation, TSUN-KIN also makes some excuses to go to the coffee shop to escort YEUK-LING home. Upon returning home, YEUK-LING discovers that YEUK-SUM vanishes without a trace. Meanwhile she receives a phone call from the kidnapper, who mentions some missing black money that disappeared many years ago. While TSUN-KIN asks YEUK-LING for YEUK-SUM's whereabouts, YEUK-LING inadvertently pushes TSUN-KIN down the stairs.… ...

HO-YEUNG is taken to their headquarters by the thugs of the illegal bookmaker. Having achieved his goal, HO-YEUNG strikes them down and then searches for clues of YEUK-LING's whereabouts. YEUK-LING, who knows nothing about the black money, is interrogated via torture. When the kidnappers attempt to shift their focus to YEUK-SUM, YEUK-LING, for the sake of her younger sister, has no choice but to lie to them, claiming that the money is kept in secret at home. Following the objects thrown from YEUK-LING's apartment and a charge of assault police, the Crime Unit and TSUN-KIN finally know where the kidnappers are hiding. The kidnappers are going to shoot YEUK-LING but in the nick of time, TSUN-KIN joins forces with MING-CHU and breaks into the place, where they encounter a fierce gun battle with the kidnappers.… ...

Upon the arrival of the President of the Republic of Garcia in Hong Kong, the police are aware of that there are two major functions that the President is going to attend. One is to deliver a speech at an international conference, and the other is to attend her daughter's graduation. CHIT takes the initiative to ask LAI CHUN out for a date, however, LAU CHUN takes him to go scouting around near the conference location to orientate themselves. On the day when the President is to give his speech, TSUN-KIN doesn't forget to call HO-YEUNG to check on him in disregard of the fact that he is on duty. TSUN-KIN, by using the clue that he discovered from the personal belongings of YEUK-LING's late boyfriend, locates a kidney disease patient, who turns out to be the ex-wife of YEUK-LING's late boyfriend. Knowing the truth causes YEUK-LING great distress, so TSUN-KIN has no alternative but to try his best to comfort her.… ...

Although the SDU and Crime Unit are vigilant and keep their eyes on the university, HO-YEUNG still manages to infiltrate it. Having tried to call HO-YEUNG to no avail, TSUN-KIN keeps his guard up. Above that he even instructs LAI CHUN to use an infrared detector to check each suspicious vehicle, which successfully prevents the assassination from taking place in the end. LAI CHUN agrees to go out with CHIT, but she shows no interest in him while on the date. TSUN-KIN reveals to MING-CHU that he suspects the real identity of the man in black might be HO-YEUNG, on which MING-CHU however cannot agree. He then sneaks into HO-YEUNG's home to investigate, but is discovered by HO-YEUNG. HO-YEUNG receives a phone call from TING HAU, who reveals that she is now being held accountable for the failure of the assassination attempts and plots on the Presidents by her clients.… ...

The rebellion leader of the Republic of Garcia and his subordinates come to Hong Kong in search of HO-YEUNG, holding him accountable for the failure of the assassination attempts and plots on the Presidents. They later shoot him down at the container terminal. Simultaneously, an explosion takes place somewhere nearby, emitting a lot of smoke. Taking this opportunity, HO-YEUNG fights back against all the rebels there, shooting them down one by one. Shortly afterwards, TSUN-KIN and his co-workers arrive, but they only see dead bodies that are strewn across the floor. MING-CHU reports to her superior that the Secretary of the Republic of Garcia and the rebels have all been killed. On top of that, she deduces that someone has taken money from both sides, and the culprit ought to be the Kei Dim Syndicate. Her superior also agrees to her assertion, and even instructs her to continue to investigate TING HAU.… ...

Upon SHEUNG KOON TIN's arrival at HO-YEUNG's residence on his own, HO-YEUNG senses that SHEUNG KOON TIN has already known HO-YEUNG's real identity as the assassin hired by the Kei Dim Syndicate. SHEUNG KOON TIN tries to persuade HO-YEUNG to stop doing so, but to no avail. TING HAU goes to negotiate with Mrs LAU in person at LAU's residence, hoping to make Mr LAU admit that he deceived TING FUNG and to arrange compensation. In the end, Mrs LAU asks TING HAU for more time to think about it. In fact, Mrs LAU is planning to ask a favor from Master HUNG, to strike back against TING HAU with violence. All the SDU members and HO-YEUNG are invited to attend the house-warming party held in YEUK-LING's new home. During the party, LAI CHUN and HO-YEUNG have a nice chat with each other, making CHIT so jealous. Meanwhile, HO-YEUNG gets a phone call from TING HAU, who asks for help.… ...

Upon returning to his home, HO-YEUNG sees that SIU-BO has been tied up and cannot move at all. It turns out that SHEUNG KOON TIN broke into his home and did that. Apart from that, SHEUNG KOON TIN also turned on his computer in search of information, in which he learned the location where Mr LAU had been held hostage. In fact, in order to prevent TSUN-KIN and MING-CHU from confronting HO-YEUNG, SHEUNG KOON TIN decides to rescue Mr LAU by himself to bury the hatchet, yet ending up getting himself killed. SHEUNG KOON TIN's death gets on MING-CHU's nerves. Suddenly, thinking there might be a connection between this and Mr LAU's abduction case, she goes to the Kei Dim Syndicate alone to arrest TING HAU. However, TING HAU resists. MING-CHU is so flamed with anger that she even takes out her gun, pointing at TING HAU......

Ever since YEUK-LING and her younger sister moved to a home closer to TSUN-KIN's, they have been visiting KO's family and getting along with each other very much. And TSUN-KIN, who was once depressed, has now become more optimistic after YEUK-LING cheered him up. During one dinner, FAI-TING accidentally breaks a bowl, the sound of which triggers YEUK-LING's post-traumatic stress disorder. As such, TSUN-KIN's family members come to know that YEUK-LING had been injured once during a gun battle. After a long vacation, MING-CHU decides to resume her work in the Crime Unit. Appreciating that she manages to get over her father's death and move on, her superior immediately assigns her to follow a case where several vehicles are reported stolen. Very quickly, MING-CHU latches onto her target. While arresting the criminal, MING-CHU loses her bracelet that was given to her by SHEUNG KOON TIN.… ...

Having gone through a long term of training, LAI CHUN's capability is finally recognized by TSUN-KIN and her other co-workers. LAI CHUN has also become more and more optimistic in the SDU, getting along well with others. Having seen this, CHI-NGAI and TSUN-KIN both recall their own experiences when they first became SDU members. CHI-NGAI asks TSUN-KIN whether the latter has any improvement in his relationship with YEUK-LING. In response to CHI-NGAI's query, TSUN-KIN reveals that his family members have already known that YEUK-LING was the female patient who he mistakenly shot during the gun battle some years ago. CHI-NGAI suggests that TSUN-KIN should reveal the truth to YEUK-LING as soon as possible so as to avoid bringing more misunderstanding.… ...

After running into HAWKEYE, TSUN-KIN and the Crime Unit reach a mutual agreement, which is to hide the culprit information of the SHEUNG KOON TIN murder case from MING-CHU. The SDU is called out to deal with the muggers, who are in possession of heavy machine guns and hide in an apartment. In order to prevent them from fleeing, LAI CHUN shoots down the muggers in disregard of TSUN-KIN's order. Feeling so gloomy, LAI CHUN goes to talk to HO-YEUNG, who implies that she should consider leaving the SDU. Upon MING-CHU and TSUN-KIN's return, TSUN-KIN's family members ask them whether they were dating and expressly support MING-CHU to pursue TSUN-KIN, making MING-CHU feel rather embarrassed. HAWKEYE follows YEUK-LING and also threatens TSUN-KIN with a gun at the parking lot. Meanwhile, HO-YEUNG, who has been tailing HAWKEYE the whole time, attacks the latter, leading to a scuffle among them.… ...

The Crime Unit and TSUN-KIN not only learn the identity of the killer from the surveillance camera of the parking lot, but also get a grasp of the information that HAWKEYE and Master HUNG are related. TSUN-KIN forces HO-YEUNG to provide intelligence related to HAWKEYE, resulting in an enmity between the two. Worrying about YEUK-LING, TSUN-KIN goes to visit her, who suddenly asks TSUN-KIN to give her a pistol so as to protect her family members. After knowing that TSUN-KIN cannot help her, YEUK-LING then turns to HO-YEUNG for assistance. HO-YEUNG takes YEUK-LING to learn how to shoot in the shooting association. On Valentine's Day, all the team members of the SDU try to create more opportunities for CHIT and LAI CHUN, yet the pair end up in a fierce quarrel with each other over things about HO-YEUNG. Ever since YEUK-LING learns that CHI-HONG has been in a persistent vegetative state, it has been preying on her mind.… ...

MING-CHU mainly targets Master HUNG's outlaw gambling business in the crackdown after learning that one of Master HUNG's men murdered SHEUNG KOON TIN, whereas Master HUNG flies into a rage out of shame, making trouble for SHEUNG-SIN and TING FUNG. TING FUNG then blames TING HAU for that. MAN-SHING notices that YEUK-LING is practising shooting with hate in her eyes, so he cannot help relaying that to TSUN-KIN. Finally, YEUK-LING recalls where the black money is hidden, above which she even tells HO-YEUNG about it. For the safety of her family members as well as seeking vengeance for CHI-HONG, YEUK-LING decides to join forces with HO-YEUNG, participating in his revenge plan. When YEUK-LING realizes that the Crime Unit is chasing after her, to her surprise, she sees TSUN-KIN driving his car to back her up. Meanwhile, MING-CHU is also very upset after TSUN-KIN has gotten in the way during their operation.… ...

YEUK-LING tells YEUK-SUM that things have been well settled, making YEUK-SUM smile again. MING-CHU and TSUN-KIN come across HO-YEUNG while they pay a tribute at SHEUNG KOON TIN's grave. Out of the blue, someone shoots at TING HAU and the others, during which TING FUNG and SHEUNG-SIN almost get killed, so they vent their anger on TING HAU. TING FUNG then approaches SHEUNG-SIN, suggesting giving the evidence of the crimes that TING HAU and HO-YEUNG committed to the police so as to make a clean break. TING HAU feels greatly disappointed to see that she is betrayed by her family members, so she hopes HO-YEUNG could flee to South America with her to start anew there. Having resumed her duty in the Crime Unit, MING-CHU is told by her superior that she will be promoted to senior inspector due to her excellent performance.… ...

TING HAU arranges to run away with HO-YEUNG and start anew in South America, however, HO-YEUNG instead claims that he cannot set out until he has had his business settled. Later on, HO-YEUNG abducts SHEUNG-SIN and TING FUNG. YEUK-LING makes up her mind and is ready to turn in the million worth of black money to the police, so she invites MING-CHU to meet her at home. Simultaneously, Master HUNG escapes from the jail to seek vengeance on YEUK-LING, whereas MING-CHU suffers serious injuries during a gun battle with Master HUNG. HO-YEUNG sends a text message to LAI CHUN to ask her out, so LAI CHUN goes to see him secretly. Threatening the lives of SHEUNG-SIN and TING FUNG, HO-YEUNG suggests fighting a duel with TSUN-KIN. The rule is that each of them would have three bullets in their pistols.… ...
