Zhang's older son, Zhang Jianguo, fell in love with He Xiuyun but caused the factory to face difficulties. Bad things kept happening to Zhang's family until Jianming and Xiuyun sought a feng shui master's advice and went to the ancestral tomb to break the curse. At the tomb, they met Xiuyun's grandfather, who told them about the curse's harm and how to break it. He guided Jianming to break the curse.
