Gregg flies into Upington the gateway to the Kalahari and follows the Orange River to the spectacular Augrabies Falls. Paddling down river, Gregg overnights at Khamkhirri Lodge and has a traditional Afrikaans braai (or barbecue). He then heads into the heart of the desert where he faces a tough taste challenge and is surprised by a secret spring.

Gregg takes a 300-kilometre road trip along the stunning coast of the Western Cape heading for Gansbaai, otherwise known as Shark Town. He stops for lunch at the South African fish and chip shop, releases rehabilitated African Penguins back into the wild and meets his match on a boat trip through shark alley.

From Durban Gregg takes a helicopter ride up into the remote and beautiful Zulu Kingdom in the Garden Province. He flies above the iconic Rorke's Drift battle site and meets the ancestor of a Zulu warrior. For lunch he heads into the lush valleys for some home-cooked food in a traditional Zulu village.
